A security guard recommend this place cause I broke down on my way to work and I am not from around hear. I was very pleased with the explanation of what was wrong and the price. I would definitely bring my car back but I hope I don’t have to

Courteous, friendly, and fast service. They folks helped get both or our cars back on the road.

Went here after getting a flat tire. They were quick and very friendly. Would definitely come back for other maintenance.

The owner and the techs were very helpful during my first visit with my Harley. However, when I came back the second time to replace my Corvette’s tires, I felt somewhat cheated.
I called the owner several times to discuss makes, models, and prices of tires I should get for the car. I did this because Duxler in Libertyville had very competitive pricing. The owner was helpful and assured me that Continental ExtremeContact DW tires are a good choice for me and that for $ 1100, they can mount and align the tires. Happy with the result, I chose to come here because Duxler quoted me the same price but is considerably farther.
After dropping off the car, the owner called and said the tires came but the front tires ordered were the wrong size. He said I gave him the wrong size (which is possible, so no complaint here), and the correct size will cost $ 30 bucks more per tire and will have to be next week. I agreed.
Afterwards, he called and said one of the tire sensors is broken, and it’ll be an extra $ 70. I agreed.
Then he contacted again and said my car is too low to be aligned on their machine, and that it’ll be an extra $ 30 – 40 to do it on another machine. I declined and was a little frustrated by this point. I decided to go somewhere else because I was sick of these extra costs.
When I finally picked up the car, the car looked great. I signed the receipt and happily went home. But then when I looked at the receipt more carefully, I realized the tires were Goodyear tires and not Continentals. Not only that, the front ones were All season and the rear ones Summer Performance (Eagle F1 Supercar). I contacted the owner right away and he said he didn’t remember us talking about Continentals, and thought we were talking Goodyears this whole time. I reluctantly asked if these tires are comparable to the Continentals and he said yes, which I found out through my research that Eagle F1 Supercar tires have terrible reviews.
I texted him later and asked if he can switch them out due to my extreme dissatisfaction with the tires, he ignored my texts and had not replied.
Very disappointed. I was extremely happy to have met a local shop with a friendly staff. I will now take my business elsewhere.

I had wheels and tires delivered here from Tire Rack. My wife went in to have them put on and was very happy with how friendly and polite the employees were to her. A quick and painless interaction, we would use this shop again in the future.

Ron and his team were incredibly patient /​helpful. I had a scare of a potential flat on the way to work, and they not only fixed it over a quick lunch break, but they took the time to explain other issues that may have caused the soft tire. Will definitely be back!

I have gone here a few times for simple oil changes and maintenance as well as for serious repair issues. I have always walked away extremely pleased both with the service as well as the quality of work. Every time I have gone, they complete the work I asked for in a timely and quality manner, and even have brought to my attention other issues that I needed to be aware of, but never forced or pushed me to do any thing unnecessary. They simply inform me of what they noticed, the risk it represents, and what my options could be. Sometimes I fix it, and sometimes, per their recommendation, I simply make a note and know I have to address it eventually.
The first time I went to them was as a last resort. I had been to multiple mechanics trying to fix a reoccurring problem with my exhaust. Each time the issue would return, and so I would go to another shop hoping they would do a better time. Eventually, I went here and they explained to me why the issue kept reoccurring. The other mechanics had cut corners, installing improper parts (sometimes even scrap parts from other vehicles), and did the repairs incorrectly, which ultimately fried one of my computer systems. These were the only guys who took the time to research the problem, explain to me exactly what was going on, and what I needed to do to fix the issue from ever happing again — and it hasn’t.
I have since referred them to a few of my friends, all of whom love their service and are now repeat customers.

Less expensive than the dealership and they’ve been really honest about whether repairs are necessary. They always tell me what they’d do if it were their car, and they never recommend or pressure me to do repairs that can be safely delayed. And if I don’t opt to get the repair done they don’t even charge me for diagnosing the problem! Highly recommended.

We owned an 2003 Dodge, with over 120k miles on it. Each time we went to the dealership for service it cost us at least $ 800. We took it to Advanced Vtech, they told us what work really needed to be done and what did not need to be worked on. Our cost were reduced to less than $ 300.
We have been back with several other cars and have had great service. We recommend Advanced Vtech to our friends and they have had similar great experiences with their car service.

I found advance Vtech thru preferred service provider list at TireRack when getting new tires for my MDX. Service was friendly and advice given good and honest. I have taken both of my cars (BMW and MDX) there ever since and have been very satisfied with their service. Very clean shop, knowledgable mechanics, honest and friendly service. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Will not be back. $ 430 and three weeks of not knowing when it would be ready. They got it running and that’s it. Condition of the bike was the same as it was before bringing it. Still operating only half potential. You can clearly hear that something is wrong with it and its not putting out the power it should.
Was told the carbs were cleaned and valves adjusted. Brought it to my buddy’s, who has been working on motorcycles a long time, house and he said one of the carbs wasn’t even touched and showed me how dirty it was. He cleaned the crap out of it and messed with the jet kit system and now it runs and sounds great.
Was also told i would have to replace the carbs next year, my buddy says they look like they are in great condition and he has no idea what they were talking about.
I feel robbed out of this money. Will definitely not be back here and will strongly urge people to take their bikes to a dedicated motorcycle shop which this most certainly is not.
