Not open as a walkin place, this is open for various types of events. I’ve been there a few times now. Each time different, I assume because the direction of the meeting planners was different. Sometimes there has been food. Other times seating for talks. Other times standing for a party. The building has been renovated and I believe its owned by Ashkers but am not sure. But either way it seems Ashkers has the ground floor and they have given some of the space to The Public magazine and some more to Barre Centric. There is street parking and also lot parking in back. The lot is not huge but so far has worked. Rumor has it Ashkers may open another one of their cafes here, which would be great, but this space is being used a lot for a meeting place so seems to be useful either way. There are renovated apartments on the floors above.
