Walk up to this wonderful pizzeria. Grab some slices. Had a beef and weck slice, nice taste. 2 slices of cheese, done right! Considering the customers late at night, Counter help was friendly and fast.

The pizza here is just okay. I’ve never been a huge fan. It’s a steep price for just an okay pizza. I’ve tried the subs before which are a lot better of a choice when coming here. They do run specials on the pizza, but it’s sort of a waste when you could go to so many other places for a slice.

I was there a few days ago with some co-workers for lunch. It was busy but the staff was very organized and professional. Did not take long to get our order. The taco salad and chicken hoagie was very good.

The service was… lackluster. Not sure if i have been away from up north for awhile and this is how service is in buffalo? On to the food. The pizza, it looked really good(the sauce, the meat) on presentation and it was good BUT to soggy. I would order it again but i would ask for it to be extra crispy next time. The garlic bread is the bomb dot come! Cheesy gooey and delicious The wings are average nothing special. The sauce could be better. We ordered them crispy and they were. In the end, i would be willing to give it another shot :)

I stop here sometimes for lunch but not as much as I use too because I feel like the pizza that comes with the two pizza and a drink combo got smaller which is very disappointing. I also noticed that they don’t put a lot of chicken on the chicken finger pizza. It could have been a coincidence that this happened to me but it’s not going to stop me from going to Prima.

I ordered delivery from here and was really disappointed in the pizza. The crust was rock hard. Barely edible. Then the actual pizza itself was mushy and gooey. I even tried baking it 400 in my oven and that didn’t help at all. It was disgusting. I will never order pizza from this place again. It’s a shame too! The Caesar salad wrap was ok. Underdressed. That’s a wrap for this restaurant.

I’m from NYC and I enjoyed their subs. Their whole wheat hero had this funny chewy texture that brought the sandwich to another level. I really liked it. I was very pleased with their courteous and prompt service. Their hot wings are NOT hot by the way. Maybe that’s something they can fix. I’ve read this on a preview Unilocal post as well. It almost tastes sweet. I wasn’t a super fan but I let it slide. They have a crazy rush when school gets out, so heads up for that.

Live and learn, so today I learned that there is no red sauce on the roasted vegetable specialty pizza. But there was supposed to be red onion and red and green peppers, as well as mushrooms and tomato. I find only mushrooms and bits of tomato. The pizza is way too oily and wayyy too salty. So I learned not to order this again. On the plus side, delivery was faster than expected and the pizza was hot. And the large mixed greens salad I ordered looks very good.

Visiting Buffalo over New Years this year we had just come from a Sabres game downtown. So New Years Eve we weren’t sure who would be open, especially for delivery and even if so, what the wait would be. The front desk only gave us Pizza Nova menu, but they were like 3 miles from our hotel. Very strange. So my wife did a search and found Prima. I called and the woman was very friendly, took my info, and said it’d be 30 mins. We were stoked. Now I wasn’t told, but I think there is a $ 2.50 delivery charge. Just a heads up if you do order. We got ready to go down and meet the driver. It was 15 minutes when we were in the elevator and my wife saw she missed a call. It was the delivery guy letting us know he was here. 15 minutes on New Years? That’s just awesome! The pizza was super hot and fresh. It was just what we wanted on a cold late December night! I highly recommend this place. Very friendly and fast service and, most importantly, very good pizza!

I thought I remembered this pizza being pretty good, but perhaps it was due to the drinking I must have done when I was a young lad on Chippewa prior to dining that influenced my taste buds. As a sober adult, the pizza was a little undercooked and the sauce was very average. The good news is that this is Buffalo and another great pizzeria is probably right around the corner.

I was at a convention at the Hyatt Regency and wanted a nice quick dinner. The concierge recommended a couple of pizza places nearby – Prima was the closest. We called up and they told us it was busy and delivery might take a while, but if we wanted a pizza quickly the best thing would be to walk the block and pick it up. I appreciated their honesty and just walked down the block. They were very apologetic about the delivery schedule, which I thought was nice(they remembered my order made from the hotel). The pizza was fantastic! OK, so I was hungry and more importantly, I’m from Los Angeles, so we don’t get pizza like this out there… I went to college back east and I totally miss that style of pizza! Love the chewy, tasty crust that wasn’t thin like cardboard(as out west) and was still crisp enough and not at all soggy. The sauce was tasty. Cheese was not as thick as out west, but that was totally OK with me. Pepperoni was tasty(not like cardboard, either… I swear, I hate pizza in CA!). So I guess you should take my review with a grain of salt since I’m from a horrible pizza-making place(well, the gourmet type pizzas from Wolfgang Puck or CA Pizza Kitchen are edible enough, but when it comes to basic pizza, it’s crap out here). I really wish there was a place like this a bit closer to home!

Sausage slices are the size of dimes. Next day everyone had a stomach ache, horrible pizza.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good our meal was. It’s not fancy, and they only have a lunch counter or patio seating. I’d go there again for carryout, though.

I’m glad to have this as my go-to when I don’t have time to make or pick up food! Some food choices are better than others. I wouldn’t suggest the pasta, but the chicken fingers are the best around. They’re fresh and delicious. The best part is that they are ALWAYS at least 15 minutes early with a delivery, unlike other area delivery restaurants that are typically at least 30 minutes late. I particularly like that I am able to order online, as well, instead of having to call. The only problem is that the guy who typically delivers in the afternoon has forgotten items(usually beverages) on a couple of occasions. He is always apologetic, though, and rushes right back to get them.

I used to cost $ 20 on Chippewa, and then my youth faded, and now I can’t make that kind of money anymore, so I gave up. If I tried it now, I’d be lucky to make enough to buy a slice of pizza here… in fact this pizza slice probably costs more than I would… in any case I’m ashamed to say it’s literally been years since I tried this place, but it used to be pretty decent back in the day :) I’ll try it again at some point and re-appraise it. It’s far from the best of what Buffalo has to offer though, pizza-wise. It’s more NY style. On drunken nights though(not that I really do that), it admittedly tastes better than anything in the history of the world. It is that way with so many things, isn’t it? Buffalo actually has the best Pizza in the world — check my «best Pizza in the world» list to see all the best Buffalo pizza places, lots of my choices are Buffalo based. I just need to try this place again to see how it stands up to its Buffalonianesqueical alternatives.

We came here New Years Eve after a night of drinking at the Lodge across the street. We got two different slices of pizza, both of which were delicious! My favorite is a white pizza with tomato and onion slices. Very flavorful! The location is great, too. Right in the middle of everything on Chippewa. The service was great and seating was plenty. It’s a neat view late at night looking out on Chippewa.(Can be quite amusing!) Will definitely come back here.

In town for a conference, walking the streets of Buffalo looking for some grub. Found Prima on the corner. Definitely one of the better pizza places I’ve visited. Ordered a grilled chicken sub and a slice of roast beef pizza. Ready and hot in under 8 minutes. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Took it to go but there is a small countertop along the windows for eating in. Will definitely visit again tomorrow night!

For the money, one of the best delivery-food experiences I’ve had in Buffalo. First, they let you order online with an extremely easy and intuitive online interface. Click through the menu, add items as you wish, and it all totals up on a cute little guest check on the side of the page. Schedule the delivery whenever you like with a calendar function. Then pay with a credit card — and add gratuity!(So crucial when you’re in need of food and short on cash.) Because I don’t trust online ordering systems, I called to confirm, and asked for plates, napkins and utensils to boot. They were kind on the phone(not common for pizza delivery in Buffalo), and delivered it all ten minutes early(even more uncommon!). Well done! The food was solid, too. I’d ordered the small pizza & wings special for $ 14.99, which gets you a small pizza with one topping and 10 wings. The pizza was the star, with a crispy, medium-thick crust, just the right amount of cheese, and flavorful cherry tomatoes. The wings weren’t particularly spicy, but they were plump – next time, I might order them with extra sauce, as I like mine a little messy. The large garden salad was indeed large, with enough greens to feed about four people. Throw in a 2-liter of Pepsi(with cups on request), and you’ve got a family meal for under $ 30. Bottom line: order online, get the pizza, order the wings with extra sauce, and give these guys a big smile when they show up. They’re doing it right.
