Don’t come here if you don’t want an ear piercing, in your face, mind wrenching, complete sensory overload atmosphere… and I’m not talking about the arcade part. The restaurant itself had so much going on that conversation was impossible. Although it was empty it was so loud you would’ve thought it was packed with people. I ordered a chicken, artichoke, pasta dish asking if it was good. Waiter told me it was but most people also order Alfredo sauce on the side. Tip for the restaurant: start serving it with the dish. That was the best way to get flavor other than the immense amount of sodium that was put into it. The artichokes were the equivalent to cardboard infused with string. The arcade part was pretty awesome but the system they use allows you to accidentally use too many credits in one game. Over all, I’m not likely to return.

This place was so much fun! Tons of seating and no wait for food, for 3 people we killed 4 appetizers and were so full! 1. crispy steak ‘n’ cheese tater cakes were my absolute FAVORITE! hot, cheesy, flavorful shredded steak, and sourcream & salsa on top yum! 2. Mountain O’ Nachos was exactly as it sounds, a GIANTMOUNTAIN of nachos, best part was the toppings were put in throughout the mountain of chips not just on top, so every bite was delish! 3. Pretzel Dogs were Pigs in a heavenly blanket with a yummy sweet spicy dipping sauce! Comes with 5 piggies, so it was small as a single appetizer, but for 3 with extra orders was good. 4. Three Cheese Grilled Cheese Sticks were just okay. Not very much cheese in my opinion, so think of more like over sized garlic bread with hardened not soft cheese on top. The food and play deals didnt exist at the Buffalo location, but we got the super charged $ 10 +$ 2 deal(48+12 chips) and it was perfect for each of us to eat & drink & play for 4 hours. We had a good time played a lot games & won enough tickets for a lil basketball and some random toys. 1 bummer I found was they no longer have the cartoonish temporary tattoos, you know the high light of any kid and young adult when you win just enough tickets! I was so looking forward to some cool art on my arm for the fun weekend vaca I was about to have!

When Dave & Buster’s was at the Eastern Hills mall, I thought it was great. All of those experiences ended in a 5 star rating. I had high hopes checking out the new relocation. Saturday evening a group of my friends came here, hoping to have tons of fun. I was very disappointed. The dinner service was very poor, our waitress seemed like she would rather be doing anything else. It took a while for our waitress to even come greet us, drinks took even longer to receive. Our order even got messed up, they completely forgot part of my friends meal! We understand mistakes happen, but our waitress didn’t even come check on us so that we could tell her. By the time we were able to say something we had all finished eating, then when the forgotten food arrived, it wasn’t even what my friend asked for?! The presentation of the food I found to be sloppy as well. This all never used to be an issue at the old location. Now, for the drinks. I was sad to see some of my favorite drinks off the menu. I ordered one of the«glow cones», it’s advertised as a drink that glows. I was disappointing when my drink came out with an LED ice cube at the bottom. It was neat, but I felt it was false advertising. Also, I didn’t even finish my drink when the flashing ice cube stopped working! The games were fun, it’s pretty much the only thing that saved the rating at all for this review. I definitely won’t be coming back as much as I usually would. Maybe next time will be better?

Came here again waited half a hour to get noticed apparently the servers are blind. Finally got one of their attention and he was pretty cool which is the only reason I’m giving it 3 stars

Ok, I understand that Dave and Buster’s is not a fancy shmancy place and it’s more about the games than the food. BUT. We went with friends and their children. They forgot one child’s order. Don ordered fish and chips. The fish was a brick of something fried; took more than one try to break through the crust. The chips were FLOPPY. Cold and LIMP! The waiter took that meal off the bill, but it took forever for the replacement meal of mediocre chicken and pasta. I had the«barbecued» ribs. UGH. After my friend took a taste he said ‘they defrosted the ribs in the microwave then brushed some sauce on them and put them on the plate” Exactly what that tasted like. We agreed that next time we took the kids to play games, we would stop at McDonalds first.

Since the last time I’ve been here for dinner, they really stepped up their menu. They have interesting combinations that work perfectly. Like a cheeseburger topped with a buffalo chicken finger and blue cheese… Like what?! Alcoholic snowcones that light up, combination dinners with game tokens. The new place is sweet. It’s a lot more sleek. The bar is perfect to watch games on and enjoy some beers and still not feel like you’re intruding on a family outing with the other guests lol

5 stars for the games 4 stars for the food 3 stars for the service Came here on a week night with 8 people to eat dinner and play games. When we arrived, we were told a table would be about a 45 minute wait. Luckily there was a table large enough in the bar area for us all to be seated at. We were sitting there for about a half hour before someone even walked up to our table(not exaggerating). When a waitress finally did come up to our table, she asked if we had seen our waitress yet. We said no, obviously not happy. She told us she would send our waitress right over. After about another 15 minutes of no one coming over, she finally decided to take our order. Our entire party ended up ordering drinks from the bar because the service was so terrible, which sucks for the waitress because all 8 of us had about 2 drinks each. Once we finally placed our order, it took another 20 minutes to get our food. Luckily, everything came out hot and the food tasted good. The girl who ended up serving us was friendly and tried her best to serve all of us(when our table wasn’t supposed to be hers in the first place) plus all of her other tables. It really wasn’t her fault, however the manager should do a better job of overseeing this sort of thing. It’s such a shame that the service is so poor, because this location is far superior to the old Dave and Busters. The games are so much better, with a bigger variety to choose from. And the menu seems larger with better, tastier options. Dave & Busters can get kind of pricey if you’re eating and playing, however they do have an eat and play option which gets you food and credits for the games. Additionally games are half priced on Wednesdays. I really do love this place but their service needs to step it up, or at least needs improvement based off of my first dining experience here.

This place has potential. I personal love the Dave and Busters Franchise. It’s a great concept, but this location needs major work. Inconsistent drinks, forgotten orders, the list goes on…

I was pleasantly surprised at my experience here last night. I had the chicken quesadilla for dinner, but also sampled the Buffalo Bar Chicks. Both were more than adequate, but nothing to write home about. The wait staff was decent, although she did forget to bring the appetizer that we ordered and a beer for my sister. I think what really sold the place for me was the atmosphere. I love how they have incorporated Buffalo into the restaurant. I particularly liked the photo of Sheas. I personally think it’s overpriced(particularly the alcohol), but it was a fun way to spend a few hours. There is security all over the gaming floor(clearly armed) and I just didn’t love that little«touch.» I also HATE that the charge you to buy a powercard. Why? It’s a piece of plastic that everyone else gives out for free. As long as you know that you are getting into an expensive evening, it is fun.

Training Casino I can’t say enough about Dave & Buster’s! It’s like a training casino for kids’! I went in wanting to play games, but all I saw were guns, guns, guns, and games with tickets coming out. You have to get a swip card to put money on to play the games. That way you don’t really know how much its costing you to shoot things and get tickets. Games arent a quarter anymore. They price them with ‘points” and theyre like 7.8 or 6.9 or 8.2 and you dont know. Gramma got a fistful of tickets and got to trade them for a red superball. Most expensive supperball ever. If any one place says«America!»(besides The America Store), this is it! Guns and gambling for cheep toys. PROS: Pretty lights. CONS: No pinball.

Lots of open room. Lots of games, including new games. Food/drinks are no different than any other dave & busters(decent/average but nothing extraordinary). The fact they keep updating D&B with new games provides reasons to return. The prize room however is a bit weak. Not a lot of great options. Come on Wednesdays for half price games!

To start off, this place has definitely gotten a facelift with the move from the Eastern Hills mall, they seemed to get a bit stagnant and was more geared towards younger adults than towards the adult atmosphere they seem to want. My last visit to this new locations was a few weeks ago, a few of my friends and I went to go see a UFC fight. They seated our group(12 people, points for them making that happen, and a decent waiter) in a side dining room, however we were told after we had ordered they would not be showing the fights because of their«family atmosphere». What we didn’t understand was the fight posters and their large sign being geared towards adults, versus families. However, enough people voiced their outrage and the fights were shown in the dining room. The beer selection was very mediocre for being branded as a sports bar, a few of the kegs were empty and the beer was rather foamy. The food, unfortunately, less than good. The portion sizes were not very great and the food tasted very bland. The price of the food, compared with the quality, was very disappointing. Overall, I would not recommend this place as a destination to watch sports or enjoy some food and drink with friends. The prices have gone up with the move to the Galleria and the quality has remained mediocre, or in some ways regressed. If you’re looking for a sports place, I’d recommend Wild Wings or Rusty Buffalo before this place.

Very impressive games. Colorful and eye catching. Unfortunately, very pricey. I spent $ 40 on games and it really didn’t last very long. We had lunch. We ate healthy — salads and chicken. The food was good. The place was clean. I spent around $ 90 for games and lunch for 2 adults and one child. Luckily, I went to the casino afterwards and won enough to cover the lunch and gas to get there. So it’s all good !!!

The new Dave and Busters game room is awesome. There is a ton of new stuff and a lot of classics. A lot of the games are digital now but they incorporated some carnival type games that I really enjoyed. It’s a lot of fun. Now the food. I was never a big fan of Dave and Busters’ food until this location. We ordered the pretzel braid which was good but needed more salt. It came with spicy honey mustard and beer cheese. I will be ordering it again. I then had the Bang Bang Chicken. It came with noodles and chicken tossed in a peanut sauce that was mixed with carrots and cabbage. It was very sweet and needed something spicy on it like sirrachha. It was good but I wouldn’t get it again. I’d try something else. My accompaniment got the Buffalo Burger. He said it was really good. It had buffalo chicken on it with crumbled blue cheese, frizzled onions, and celery. It came with tator tots. It looks really good. I was too full to take a bite. He said he would get it again. The prices were very reasonable as well. We got out of there for less than $ 40 with an appetizer, 2 entrees, and 2 sodas. It’s a fun environment with good bar type food and I will definitely be returning.

I like this new location but I’m saddened by the fact that they didn’t install a bowling alley. This new location is well spaced out, well designed, and feels like a Vegas casio. By that I mean that once you are inside you are theirs until you find the exit. Everything is designed to keep you moving around between games until you run out of money, and recharging your card is as easy as finding the front row of automated recharge machines. The floor was really clean as was the eating area and bathrooms. The bar is higher than the floor so you could drink and watch your«kids». Happy hour is great, like $ 2.50 for well drinks, and runs until about 7pm then starts up again at 10 pm. The menu consists of American-corporate style food. So… Burgers, wings, fries, apps, and combinations of them(like a burger topped with pulled pork). Food is good but heavy. The games aren’t anything amazing, they are all designed to grab your money. If you are old enough to remember the Golden Age of arcades then you’ll be really disappointed by this place. Some of the games give tickets, which are recorded on your player card, and can be redeemed for prizes. The prizes are great, not the typical junk you’ll find at seaside arcades. I saw stuff like toys, balls, stuffed animals, games, ear buds, glasses, video game consoles, candy, and more. It was pretty easy to earn over 3000 tickets. The cost to play here is high. A lot of the games will end after 1 level and require more money to play. Swipes of the card seem to take about $ 1 off per play but it’s broken down into weird increments like 66.5 credits(ahh just a made up example). If you are the one paying, you’ll go through a chunk of money quickly, especially if you are really trying to have fun. If you pace yourself, you can have a good time and not feel like you over spent. Make sure you try the verses games(like racing — Mario kart, etc), as you can get more bang for your buck. I enjoy this place but can get my fill by going once every ten or so years. If someone else is paying, then go and have fun.

Came here for Brad’s work Christmas party. It was just okay. There were roughly 80 people for the party, yet only 50 chairs. Almost half the group was left standing. Not sure what went wrong with communication, but I will say, there was enough food for 50 people. I was okay with standing while eating, but still found it odd. It seemed like nothing was planned ahead. The food was just okay. They had salad, potatoes, salmon, steak, mac and cheese, and chicken. The best part was the potatoes. The mac and cheese and salmon was very dry. Due to an allergy, that was all I could eat. We got a game card and given free range of the arcade. The card included maybe 100 points for ticketed games, and unlimited«riding» games. The 100 points would be maybe 10 – 15 games. The game I loved took 10 points each. This also came with an open bar. I compared their drinks to Bar Louie, where you can drink their«cocktails» like a fish, but not get drunk. Still they’re fun and the boozy snowcone brought out my inner kid. I thought it was a nice restaurant, but still the same size as when it was on Transit. I was talking to a friend later and she thought for sure it was 2 floors. It’s not. They way it’s located at the mall is below the mall’s food court. Just 1 floor. I’m not sure if we will be back for another work Christmas party, but honestly, I kind of hope not.

I went here last night(Thurs 12⁄17) for a holiday work gathering. There were 12 of us, and we were seated at a long table. This made it difficult to communicate from one end of the table to another, but I am not sure how else this could have been arranged. To start, we ordered a 100oz. tube of beer as well as a wide array of appetizers. My sister and I also ordered burgers, and some other people ordered sandwiches as well. The food came out in a very timely manner, although the drinks took slightly longer than they should have(some people ordered cocktails or specialty beer in addition to our large tube). I was able to try the spinach artichoke dip(average, same as every other restaurant), the potato skins(good, there was a lot of cheese on them and I love cheese), the pepperoni pizza pretzel pull apart things(delicious, because I love soft pretzels and pizza – I would recommend this appetizer above all!), and the mini hot dogs(pretty disgusting, the hot dogs were wrinkly and bleh). For my burger, I ordered the Makers Mark BBQ burger. It came cooked medium rare as I asked, but the pulled pork on top of it was of poor quality. There were chunks of fatty stuff in it that I could not chew and had to spit out, and I felt really awkward doing that but I simply could not consume it. The overall taste was good, so the pork was the only thing I had a qualm about. Following our meal, we played games on the Midway. Some of the games were not working, but there were still plenty to choose from. Instead of giving out tickets when you win a game or «earn tickets,» the value of your tickets now gets placed right onto your card. My sister complained about this because she likes carrying around physical tickets, but I thought it was a pretty efficient system. I was able to earn a small Nerf gun and I am having oodles of fun with it at work today :) apologies to my co-workers that are in my line of fire. Overall, we had a pleasant experience here. Our server, Tyrone, did very well with such a large party. He did not forget any orders or make any mistakes, and he served everything as quickly as he could. This can be difficult to do with large parties, so kudos to him. Happy Holidays, everyone!

Birthday celebration for my 23 year old son. Actually liked the ambiance and upscale feel better at this new location. I feel they have a lot more games and the bar area is much nicer. Food was excellent as always. My philly cheese and steak was delicious my son and husband were boring and ordered double cheeseburger and chicken tenders. But all in all great experience. It was Saturday afternoon for lunch so not sure how busy it is at dinner time. Will be back again after the holidays!!!

Dave & Busters is what it is. Its basically a Chuck E Cheese for adults. This place is busy so there is obviously someone out there craving to go to one of these types of places. To have the optimal experience here I would first recommend to never go here without a coupon. They give them out all the time and send them to your email. The coupon is usually buy $ 20 in game credits get $ 20 free. Sign up with their rewards program before going if you can. Wednesdays are half price game days, so I recommend charging your card through the mobile app then going on a Wednesday. If that doesn’t work for you, you will have to stop by on another day and buy credits then go on a Wednesday for half price games. They don’t allow coupons to be used on Wednesday’s or with any other offer. I have done the math on their points system. If you use the $ 20 coupon and go on a non-wed the credits come out to 10 cents per point. Games are usually between 5 – 15 points each. So the most expensive game is $ 1.50, and that is usually only the big simulators like Dream Raiders or Star Wars Battle Pod. That’s pretty cheap considering the selection of games offered. If you don’t use a coupon it will cost double what I just mentioned, aka you are overpaying. If you are using a coupon its probably a better value than any other arcade out there. You can switch from paper tickets to e-tickets or vice versa by swiping your card at the kiosks. I can’t comment on the food or service, never eaten there. They have wi-fi but you have to get the password from someone who works there, who may or may not know the password. The winner’s circle does have better prizes than any other arcade I have been to. I have been to arcades that cost just as much money as D&B(or possibly even more expensive) but you get 2 – 5 tickets per game played and the prizes you get aren’t even worth 10 cents. The games I was playing at D&B gave me at least 30 – 40 tickets per play and I am not good at any of the games by any means. D&B at least has modern, good prizes, they do have candy and some of the usual arcade junk but its all modern and clean and there are plenty of things you can pick that you might actually take home and use instead of something you would throw away after 5 min.

I haven’t been to Dave & Buster’s in over ten years and a recent visit reminded me why. Under protest, I went to a friend’s birthday party(he turned 38 this year) with my 2 and ½ year old son and another friend. We found their new location at the Galleria Mall and the game room staff was very helpful in telling us how to get to the ‘dining’ area. We found the bar so we could order some Dr. Peppers. It was not busy at the bar or in the ‘dining’ area. The bartender passed by us no less than six times and we waited at least ten minutes before he asked us what we wanted. Again, it was NOT busy at the bar or in the ‘dining’ area. Some surly hipster at the bar called out ‘baby’ when she saw my son in my arms. Let’s be honest here: Dave & Buster’s is a Chuck E. Cheese’s for people in their 30’s who haven’t grown up yet, so babies should be a pretty common sight. We played some games for awhile and then met up with the birthday boy to order our food. The server was short, impatient and barely present. We kept waiting for her to come back and take our order, and let me tell you, when you have a two year old in tow, you want your food on the hurry-up. Two of the three orders we placed at our table got messed up, and the busboy got upset with us for pointing out that they made a mistake. He came back with the right dipping sauce for my buddy’s pretzels and my date finally got sour cream for her potato skins. I guess we were asking for too much by expecting the menu items to come with the accompanying side sauces and creams. I ordered boneless chicken wings($ 9.99) and they were actually pretty good. I got seasoned fries(a $.99 add on with the wings) for my son(who’s a very finicky eater) and those were really good, too. There’s no way in hell I would go through the headaches, the miserable service, the waiting and the riff-raff that the Galleria Mall attracts again for the food, though. If we go to Dave & Buster’s for my son’s high school graduation, it’ll be too soon. I’d rather buy a home frier and a Nintendo Wii-U. Even by chain restaurant standards(which are low), they failed miserably.

The only reason for the one star is the fact that the food tasted somewhat good after waiting almost two hours. Maybe it was the fact that I was starving by the time the food came. I was eager to speak to a manager about why it’s taking an hour and a half for our meal. When the manager finally arrived, I asked why the long delay? He simply stated in a rude manor, «I know you’ve been waiting for a long time, but the food will be out soon.» 25 minutes later the food arrived. Never apologized or offered a free desert or anything. Just left. The wait staff and management were horrible. Staff seen chatting with each other and just showing a carefree attitude. Our waitress stopped at our table twice, refilling our drinks once. Pathetic! Avoid this location at all costs! Unless you have a few extra hours to spare. Will never go back to this location.

I’m a sucker for Dave and Busters. It was one of our standby date spots when my wife and I first started dating. The new location looks super slick, it was a huge upgrade from the last location. Unlike other reviewers, we didn’t have any issues with our service in the restaurant portion. Our food came out in a timely manner and was well prepared. They have a wide variety of games for whatever mood you are in. Instead of carrying around tickets, they now load them directly to your card. As adults I think this is great, but for kids I can imagine they may miss ripping the tickets out of the machine. Where Dave and Busters always loses me is with its cost. For what you get, the food is expensive. For what you play, the games are expensive. Lastly, the reward shop also requires a lot of tickets… Aka it is also expensive. I would suggest going on days they are running promotions or with coupons, but otherwise it would be easy to break the bank.

Decided to stop by for a late lunch after some mall action. Saw an ad in the mall with the buffalo wing burger and my mouth began to water. Let’s do this. Place was busy, but it was game day. They have $ 5 apps on game day as well as some drink specials. Food came out pretty quick! 10 minutes. The burger was alright. The beef tasted pretty cheap, the onion straws could’ve been crispier. Chicken was decent. It was a big burger with decent flavor. The tots were probably the best part of the meal. Service was great! No real complaints, it was what I expected.

This place is a straight up money grab. 100 «tokens» for $ 20 goes very quickly let me tell you. You may think it’ll cost you a token or two to play a game and have a moment of fun, but you could be wrong. Stopped here to take a breather from shopping all day long, and purchased 100 tokens for about $ 23 which were placed on a Dave and Busters card. The tickets that you earn throughout your time here are placed right onto the card. Now, some people will appreciate not having to carry loads of tickets around for as long as they choose to spend here, however, I am the kind of girl likes to dominate in skee-ball and then have the tickets spilling out of my pockets and purse to show for it. Personal preference I guess. Speaking of skee-ball, it costs 6.8 tokens a game. Like I said, a money grab and a bit of a rip off if you ask me. First off, 6.8 tokens? Why the point 8? Also, it’s about 20 seconds of fun. It should cost 2 tokens, that’s more reasonable and not a point 3 more. They do have plenty of games here; basketball, arcade racing games, pacman, one of my personal favorites: Deal or No Deal and Wheel of Fortune. Some games don’t have instructions that make sense, so you swipe your card, kiss away 10 tokens for one«pull of the lever» when in reality you were supposed to push the lever and there’s no going back. The place was kept pretty clean, little to no garbage on the floor. It’s chaotic though, kids running around, pushing, bumping into one another with excitement. Shouldn’t be as expensive as it is to have a little fun.

My husband and I were really excited to try the new Dave and Busters out the other night, and I thought about giving them 2 stars because the layout of the new restaurant is really nice! However, I was so disappointed with the staff and service that we received that I was inclined to give them one star. I met my husband and his friend there from work, and they were seated around 8pm. The server came by once for my drink order, and I confirmed with him what my husband had ordered for me. He dropped my drink off in a timely matter, and came by 10 minutes later to ask the guys if they wanted another beer. They said yes, and we ordered waters; the beers came but the waters never did. 15 minutes later we didn’t have our meals yet, and jokingly I told the guys that I was going to go shopping and get back before the food would arrive. Much to my surprise, I picked up something quick and was back before the food arrived. 45 minutes went by and we only saw our server 3 times, and never once did he give us an update on our food. Upset, I flagged down the manager to ask for the status of our meals, he said he would check and be right back. By the time he came back, it was an hour after we had initially ordered our food. He told us the«Kitchen lost our meal ticket, and the food was sitting out for a while and died, so they were making us new food and would be out in about 10 minutes». He then told us that the entrees were on the house, so we decided to stay and wait for the food a little longer. I ordered another drink with the manager before he left, and we continued to wait. Our server finally came back to the table and I asked about our waters… he said he would be right back, and he actually brought them back with him! He told me that the manager said I never ordered a drink through him, and that he would put it in for me(surprising!). The server then went on to say that the kitchen was trying to make him look like an idiot because they lost our meal ticket.(That was super professional to tell your customers. Pretty sure you already looked like an idiot when you never checked on one of your two tables). 20 minutes later the food FINALLY arrived! The fries were awesome… but the entrees were freezing cold. The food died alright! But they never made us new entrees. We were so upset at this point, that my husband flagged the manager down again and told him that the food was cold and that we just wanted to pay for our drinks and leave. Our night was a bust, and didn’t want to wait for«new food» to be cooked. The manager looked embarrassed, and told us to not worry about paying for the drinks, so we left. That was it. He said nothing to try to entice us to come back again. Needless to say, I would never order food here again. The games are great, but the service was terrible. I would hate to know what its like when its actually BUSY here. They can barely handle a few tables!
