We offer a unique twist on the traditional deli experience. Full dine-​in seating in our main dining room accented by two garage doors that open to Elmwood Ave (weather permitting) as well as our full bar offering a variety of liquor, craft beer on draft and bottle, wine and seasonal cocktails. Our outdoor patio also make for the perfect dining spot to people watch and get some sun! We’ve stayed true to our roots as a deli, offering the same classics that made Joe’s Deli a Buffalo fixture, while offering unique daily and weekly specials. Our BackRoom banquet facility is also the perfect spot to host an event, whether it’s a Shower, Business Meeting, Fantasy Draft or Birthday Party to name a few.

History

Established in 2013.

Joe Lyons and family are proud to announce the arrival of the newest member of the Deli Family-​Joes Deli at 534 Elmwood, Buffalo opened to the public June 10, 2013.

The new location features much the same menu as the flagship location at 1322 Hertel Ave. However, you may enjoy some crisp beers from our taps or pair your meal with our wine offerings. Indulge directly your table or at our new custom built solid maple bar.

Also, the operating hours extend well into the evening. Regulars will be pleased to see that they can get the same huge, fresh, tasty sandwiches and made-​from-​scratch soups as they do at the original site. Salads and wraps are also made-​to-​order in the Elmwood kitchen.

Excitement here at the new location is found first as one enters. The newly renovated Victorian building is a visual delight as one approaches. The corresponding flowers in window boxes and planters connect the whole scene.
