Went to their store a while ago and was treated so rudely by an older woman with a «punk» hairdo. Apparently we were bothering her by asking questions even though nobody else was in the store. She was writing dziekuje on the paper bags while we were there. Spent over $ 60.00 for ourselves and a friend. Wound up giving the ones that we had left away so others could see what a bad pierogi is because they were horrible. All dough and virtually no filling. I don’t know what type of pierogi the other reviewers are used to but we will definitely not be going back. If you want a pierogi like Babcia used to make — go to Keeping Traditions in Tonawanda, NY.

I was born in Buffalo, full-​blooded Polish, and I returned to visit my birthplace and see the sights of Buffalo again. I wanted some good Polish food and read about K Sisters. Boy, are they good. First, the sister who helped me the day I visited (from Idaho – and my husband & I stayed an extra day so we could be here when they opened on Tuesday morning) was so nice and friendly. And the variety of pierogis was wonderful. We are traveling back in a travel trailer and are sampling the delicacies on our way home. The Sauerkraut pierogi were FABULOUS. The Cheese & Onion were out of this world. The Golubki were superb. All of them were plump with filling. Very full of the fillings and tasty and fresh. Definitely homemade. Seasoned to perfection just like my mom used to make. I only wish I could get them at home. These sisters really know how to make great Polish food. I can’t wait to taste the cabbage soup and the other pierogi as well.

K Sisters Pierogi. Best in town. Hate to admit that they beat out my other fav… Ellies.
Different fillings. Some may be considered to be unusual. Fall favorite is Sweet Potato. I’m turning orange from all the beta carotene I’ve consumed these past few weeks.
Cheese pierogi kick ass because they have a bit of sugar. Kraut is exceptional. I’ve never been a fan of potato pierogi however theirs is done better than most.
They are not cheap but I believe that you get what you pay for. And what you are paying for is supreme goodness here.
