I am not a patient however I pay for his procedures and I feel that he bills in a strange fashion. I am the POA of my brother in law that is currently residing in a high functioning mental health facility. My brother in law was recently informed that he needed to see a dentist. Whatever. If you read my reviews you know that I abhor dentistry. He was sent to this dentist per protocol as per house health regulations. All fine and good. My B-I-L had been on medicaid for two years. He was switched to MEDICARE effective January 1, 2016. He is well aware of this and keeps notes. OCD is part of his diagnosis. He visited the dentist twice. $ 300.00 worth of nothing. And the bill was submitted to MEDICAID. In March. Dentist cannot explain why they submitted payment request through Medicaid. I have not been paying for Medicaid since December of 2015. Now Medicaid wants $ 1300.00 for this/these procedures that have not really/maybe been done. Wow. Chose wisely. Not this place.

Dr. Crabtree has been my dentist for ages. He and his staff have always been kind and competent. Not only that, he has been easy to contact when an issue arose, even when it was something that needed immediate attention. I have always felt his conservative approach has enabled me to avoid many costly and unnecessary procedures, and I am grateful for that. Last but certainly not least, he has a very deft and gentle way, so if you have been afraid of going to the dentist, don’t be.
