Description

Specialties

Remanufacturing of cv axles, cv joints, and rack & pinion steering units for just about anything, vehicle or non-vehicle, that would use them (Automobiles, trucks, ATV’s, boats, race cars, printing presses, military vehicles, motorhomes to name a few). We are a local family owned and operated remanufacturing facility that recycles and reuses so we are a «green» business. In our 24 four years of operation we have perfected some repair processes found nowhere else in the industry:

bar shaft straightening

hi-tensile weld repair of worn components

knowledgeable tech staff familiar with exotic, antique, and out-of-country vehicle application

We specialize in salvaging the existing part and only sell OEM replacement parts rather than the common off-shore (Chinese) sourced parts found in everyday retail locations.

History

Established in 1987.

The business began in the owner’s basement in Norcross GA while he was running an already thriving national sales business in the same location. The owner was always looking for a solution to his boredom between phone calls so he came across these things called «cv boots» and though skeptical, he jumped into selling them with both feet. He found an established route salesperson through his church and began buying inventory to meet the sales demands. This grew to a need for cv joints to go with the boots and that led to the need for the whole cv axle. As the installer’s labor time was shortened between changing a cv boot versus the whole axle assembly the demand for a source of these axles grew daily. A source was found at a trade show and the axles started to flow from Michigan to Atlanta. By this time the family was involved and it was the owner’s youngest son that suggested the axles be remanufactured in-house to reduce errors, cost, and lead time. The rest is history.
