Established in 1997.

Dr. Layne Swofford opened the doors of Eye-​Site of Buford to serve the eye care needs of local residents in the Buford region.

Business Owner

Raised in Norcross, Dr. Swofford attended Oxford College of Emory University. He also attended the University of Georgia where he received a B.S. degree in microbiology. His graduate work included study at the Emory School of Medicine in Epidemiology for the Masters of Public Health program prior to beginning optometry school. Dr. Swofford’s Doctor of Optometry degree was received from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. After graduating, he entered private practice in North Atlanta.
