History
Established in 1968.
Founded in 1968, Sonny’s has been the first name in Southern BBQ for over 44 years. The key to success? Smoking meat over real oak for up to 20 hours at a time. Sonny’s signature slow-smoked flavor, delicious homemade sauces and famous Southern hospitality have taken Sonny’s from one location in ’68 to 125 and counting today. But no matter how many locations there are, Sonny’s has been, and always will be, a local BBQ joint led by local Pitmasters.
