We have eaten here at least a dozen times-the food is very good. We’ve probably had every sandwich(and side!) on their menu, and we’ve enjoyed them all. The reason I don’t give it more stars is that the service is unpredictable. We’ve eaten here and had to track down the waitress to get our check, goten our(2) meals ten minutes apart, and had them«drop off» food that wasn’t ours. The latest flub was when asked for our check, the waitress said there was a problem w/the computers and they just had to «get it working again.» No big deal-we thought. We waited, and waited some more, and no check or waitress to update the Big Computer Problem. After 25 – 30 minutes, we flagged her down as we did have somewhere to be. She grimaced & said there was nothing she could do; hubs said«Just tell us how much & we’ll leave CASH.» You would have thought he said«We’ll be paying in pennies.» After going off in a huff, she returned to tell us the total & we left that plus 10%. I don’t fault her for the«computer problem,» but I do think her handling of it didn’t warrant a better tip. We’ll be back– but wish we knew service was always as good as the food.

Truly an outstanding experience! The flavors were so well balanced. Amber, our wonderful server, gave us great recommendations and did not steer us wrong. Fun evening, great food, inviting atmosphere! Try it — I feel sure you’ll like it.

I was there on a saturday night around 6:45 with a few friends(small party of 4). it was fairly crowded, so i expected things to be less than optimal, however my experience was far below my expectations. to start: after putting our name in for a table, we waited on the side. not 4 minutes later the hostess leaves her station, some other guy fills in for her while she is gone, and seats another party that just walks in(same size party of 4, no reservation). fine. then we get seated about 10 minutes later. after that, our waitress arrives, we place our drink order(3 of the drinks we wanted were not available). I ordered a beer and a water. the waitress comes back with 3 drinks and no water. I taste my beer, it clearly isn’t what i ordered so when she comes back i ask her to find out what happened. she disappears for about 10 minutes, and comes back and declares that the beer i have is actually the one my wife ordered and she said that they didn’t have(it wasn’t). so i give my wife the beer, and ask for a different one… and my water. so here we sit, more than 30 minutes in, and i still have no beer. no water. and our food order hasn’t been taken. eventually i get my beer. still no water. we order appetizers. we eventually get those, but instead of the chicken bites that we ordered, we get cold fried pickles. that takes about 20 minutes to sort out, and finally we place our order. still don’t have my water yet though. eventually after asking the 4th time for my water, i get it. it’s almost 45 minutes since i ordered it. the food comes, and for the most part is pretty good, but one person in our party eats only about 20% of it and doesn’t want to take it home. she makes a passing comment about«too much vinegar» and we all decide to just leave it alone. another waitress gets us another round of drinks and eventually our waitress returns and tries to get us another round as well, but we tell her we already have it taken care of. so finally we get the check, and are ready to leave and our waitress returns, and then says something about«fixing» the check and she disappears for about 5 – 10 minutes with the check. she says she had to take off the incorrect app, and the extra round of drinks that she mistakenly put on there, and hands us back the check(that we already had) and the«uncorrected» check for $ 50 more. I am not sure what happened, but she took the check from us and came back with the same check plus the«incorrect» one. it was 10 minutes that we had to wait for reasons that i don’t understand, overall this was a terrible experience and i don’t think i will come back there for a long time

We ate here for the first time tonight and loved it! The old building is very cool! The price range is $ 8-$ 20, give or take with some items. They offer a wide variety of entrees: soup & salads, pizza, burgers, sandwiches & wraps, BBQ, and a few seafood dishes. I ordered the southern beef brisket and it was the best I’ve had in a long time! The BBQ sauce is a bit on the spicy side, but it’s still very good. It came with two sides, I chose fried okra and Mac n cheese. Not impressed with those sides. The okra was the typical out-of-the-freezer bag that most restaurants serve, and the Mac n cheese was made with the huge ziti pasta. I’m not a fan of Mac n cheese made that way, but that’s just my opinion. My husband ordered the pulled pork which was also fabulous! He chose coleslaw and baked beans. Both were very good. The beans had BBQ meat in them which made them taste out of this world! We had great service and will be back again for sure! I highly recommend this restaurant!

We dinned at Tannery Row Ale House for two birthdays and an anniversary celebration… And we were greatly disappointed! Not only did it take forever just to give our soda, beer and water orders, but we sat in an awkward fenced off area with cold fans blowing directly on us. Our waitress showed no care with anything during ordering and when we tried to explain how we wanted separate checks she turned to my SIL(who has been a waitress for 7+ years) and told her she knows how to split checks. Needless to say she didn’t split the checks right. I had hoped we would have had a better experience, but I believe the atmosphere is more geared towards Friday and Saturday night party time.

Loaded Dice… Recently I attended a poker tournament, held by the name sake club owned establishment. And. I gotta say. No Bueno. The service, decent at best. And not because it wasn’t pleasant or rude, but the place is so huge that you hardly saw anyone. The menu, while broad, a little misleading and the food was not that pleasing. I ordered a loaded potato with BBQ added(see a true loaded potato below). Now, what I got was a well baked tater with a smatter of cheese and over sauced BBQ topped on. When I read BBQ loaded baked I expected more. I finished off my tourney both with an unsavory beat and even more so stale pecan pie. The pie itself was tasty, but to small and the pecans on top were chewy and a bit stale. I can’t say that it was a bad experience because it wasn’t, but it certainly falls short of being what one would expect from such a large kitchen. Maybe next round will be a better experience.

Went here for a friends 40th. Bday. They held it in a private room on the 4 th floor. The feel of the place was amazing. Old wood beams and a very rustic feel. Something most places try to create but they already have it in spades. Food was above average. sliders wings and some crab cakes. I didn’t get to offer off a menu since it was a party. Service was spot on they did their best to tell us about the place and its history. Showed us around bs and gave us a tour. They said it was on ghost hunters Drinks selection was excellent. I like bourbon and stuck with blantons. I’ll be back to try their walking dead Sunday’s …

Best wings in Gwinnett. Your hostess is charming. Amanda is the funniest and best waitress you have.

I love the venue: Huge tv, Bbq based menu, craft beers. Problems I see are: service, no healthy options. Great place to see the game but the beers are super overpriced as is menu.

I have been here a few times and never left disappointed. The building looks like an old loft apartment building that has been gutted. It is huge. If you have one sports event to watch, this is the place to do it. They have a 17′ tv screen in the main dining area. This place can easily accommodate large groups. Tannery has a couple of really unique items on the menu that are really tasty, like the pecan bacon and bourbon peanut butter dip. I have tried a couple of their special pizzas. My favorite is the Tannery BBQ. The smoked turkey plate is also really tasty. It has a flavor I have not had at any other place. Tannery has 2 bars, one walled off from the common area and one in the large dining room. They have a really good selection of craft beers. They will let you sample a few of them to make sure it’s what you want. Kimmy is the best bartender ever. She knows her beers and can help you decide on what to order. She designed a bloody mary that keeps people coming back. Finally, if you want some live music, they will have bands sometimes on Friday and Saturday nights. Check the calendar, because I don’t think it’s every Friday and Saturday.

This place is awesome! They have a really decent menu, with a good variety too. I had the BBQBLT and it was really good. Great on tap beer selection, but the beer menu doesn’t have prices on it. The place is huge, and packed during college football games. The service was a little slow, as in it took 20 minutes for our actual waiter to greet us, so the hostess took our drink orders. The food service was on point, and so was the bar. I would come back, without hesitation.

The Tannery Row Alehouse in old Town Buford, GA is run by a group of people who don’t know how to run a business. The food is mediocre at best and overpriced — not worth the bill. They double booked our event and some sort of wedding reception, so they kicked us out of their facility before the wedding reception showed up. They kicked out several hundred people already in the building! How can you turn away people spending money? How can you scam your business neighbors like this? Don’t go here. Don’t spend money here. It truly isn’t worth your time.

Very cool place. Located in the renovated Allen Leather Tannery, they serve up a big helping of Buford history along with their delicious smoked meats. I recommend the Flathead, chicken wings, burgers, and pulled pork. I have not been there to hear the bands, but it is a great venue. Go try it out! I see some bad reviews on here. I’m thinking they must be from disgruntled ex-employees.

Food was great(brisket was a tad dry), like last time, but this time our server was fantastic! We had a party of six & had the BBQ platter w Mac n cheese, BBQ beans, shrimp & grits, Philly steak n cheese & brisket tacos. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed dinner!

WOW! A BEAUTIFULNEWOPTION! My husband and I actually stumbled into this place as we were trying to find the art gallery. This is an absolutely beautiful space. I loved everything about it! The building is approximately 100 years old and has retained its original beauty and charm. This would have been a perfect place for lunch had we not already eaten. The space inside is very open and today they were hosting a charity event so the set up was a bit different. It provided a glimpse of what it might be like if you hosted your own event and needed to set up a large buffet. This is the perfect venue! The very enthusiastic host told me that they host large groups and special events. There is live music on the weekends and I noticed a sign advertising open mic night. In the center of the room, there is a very large television screen perfect for watching special events and sports. The menu appeared to be very casual, mainly bar-b-que and sandwiches, but who doesn’t love a good bar-b-que?. This is a really cool place with a great vibe and I could so see myself having a family dinner here or meeting my girls for a night out. I love this beautiful new option.

The wings are great don’t miss them(BBQ). The folks that work here are very nice. It’s a different kind of restaurant in a old Buford warehouse if you are seeking original dinning this is the place. I can’t pass up the Grilled Pimento Cheese & Brisket Sandwich. I’m not even a pimento cheese fan it’s that good.
