Whoohoo the trashiest of all Burbank 711 locations! Be prepared to wait around for several long minutes while customers stand in front of the hot food case picking out which shriveled chicken wings and withering pizza they would like. Cashiers will just sort of wander away as soon as your ready to pay.

First great plus is they have a Redbox! And right now they have an offer buy a big gulp and get a free movie. Awesome. This is my regular 711 stop. And I’m surrounded by 3! The staff is friendly(ish). They don’t speak much but 6 out of 10 times they do great you with a smile. The store is generally clean. Fresh items are well maintained. You can’t buy lottery tickets with credit cards but that may be a standard state policy. Parking is good. Convenient location.

Again the worst place Ive ever been. A customer was trying to pay with change . The clerk became impatient with him and treated him like dirt. I guess American currency, although it may be change, is not tolerated with impatience unless in currency form. Here is this person who lived in Burbank his whole life and some guy living here from India for a month has that kind of arrogance. Probably not even an American citizen. I wonder if I opened a convenience store in India and treated them the same way how would they respond? But again, hey, out of coffee, diet coke is out. I hope I have the address right. This is the one on Buena Vista and Burbank. Again, 711 Corporate, train your people to understand what customer service is. Train them to be polite to their customers. Customer Service 101. PS. The 711 on Hollywood Way and Burbank Blvd, Burbank, CA. has the sweetest staff, always polite. They work hard and always have the soda machines working and coffee filled. I wonder why there is such a difference between two similar establishments that are only a half mile away?

PERFECTALTERNATIVETOPACKAGEDELIVERY After a horrid experience with a delivery debacle with UPS, I was online ordering shy. However, as an tech geek and addict to Amazon and, I found myself finding so many fun new toys for my new cell phone. Once I selected my items and viewed my shopping cart, it was time to face my fear, my fear of another UPS delivery nightmare. I knew I had a couple options; one have the items sent to my rental establishment, or as UPS lists it, industrial building, or two, have the items sent to a friends place. Two options, or so I thought. To my surprise, Amazon now offers package delivery to Amazon Lockers. What the heck are Amazon Lockers? Amazon Locker provides you with a self-service delivery location to pick up and return your packages. Lockers are currently available in a variety of locations throughout the U.S. Instead of delivering a package to your home or business address, you can select an Amazon Locker location and pick up your package at a time that’s convenient for you. Once your package is delivered to the Amazon Locker, you’ll receive an e-mail notification with a unique pick-up code that includes the address and opening times for your selected Locker location. When you arrive to collect your package, enter your pick-up code or scan the barcode using the barcode scanner and follow the instructions on the screen. All packages delivered to Amazon Locker locations must be picked up within three business days. If you’re not able to collect your package within this timeframe, the package will be returned to us for a refund. FABULOUS!!! I choose this 7 – 11 location because it’s on my way home from work and open 24⁄7 in the event I find myself on some kind of crawl and not able to pick up my package in after last call. The other great thing about Amazon is the constant communication; email that order was placed, shipped, out for delivery, delivered with a pick-up code to open the Amazon Locker. Yep, Amazon Locker is my new fave way to receive packages. Note: not all items are Locker eligible. For best results, conduct your own research on Amazon Locker. It may not work for you.

5 Stars for 7 – 11? Yes, and here is why. You may not know this, but there are more 7 – 11’s per capita in Burbank than anywhere else in the world. They are literally every 300 feet. So why 5 stars for this one? Relax… I’m about to tell you! #1. It’s in Burbank. Why does this matter? I tell you what, you go to the 7 – 11 about a mile away also on Burbank Bl in North Hollywood. There is literally feces on everything you touch. But not the one in Burbank! Since Burbank has one of the best police forces in all of Southern Cal they keep the hookers and the pimps and the drug dealers and the junkies out at the border. So #1 why this 7 – 11 is better, its cleaner. #2. It’s friendlier. Yep… the staff are friendly. All of them. They smile. They greet you. Just like their store, they are clean and nice and welcoming. #3. Blueberry coffee. Ok… it’s not your thing, I get it. But this is the store that always has Blueberry coffee. All other 7 – 11’s shut down their flavors very early and for the rest of the day you’re stuck with Decaf and Brazilian Coffee. Not here… if you like flavors, its there. You don’t have to ask, its just there. #4. Read #1 again. Its clean. Honestly, some 7 – 11’s make you think you’re in a war torn country. Not this one. So in summary, Clean, Nice, Friendly, Blueberry Coffee. 5 stars all day every day. There is a 7 – 11 not on Unilocal at 2500 Burbank Bl. I think the negative reviews for this store are actually for that store. I don’t know, I wasn’t there, but that store has literally 1 guy who works there. He is never not there. He is on his phone a lot. He works 365÷24÷7. He hasn’t slept in 6 years, other than those rare moments someone isn’t in his store. That store is also dirty, but what are you gonna do when you are the only one working 365÷24÷7. There is also an alcoholic in a wheelchair who tries to buy alcohol and they get into shouting matches then the guy in the wheelchair cries and coughs some tuberculosis on you. You feel sad when you go there and nearly contract a disease. Not because you nearly contracted a disease, but because you realize how much better your life is and you feel guilty for not being in a wheelchair or being an alcoholic.(Now do you get why the store I gave 5 stars to has 5 stars?)

The employees sometimes come off as a bit unhappy to be there, but that’s fine. I understand. This 7 – 11 is a bit smaller than some of the other locations within close proximity to this location so their selection is a bit sparse. But, if you’re just looking to quickly grab a Slurpee or snack, they’ve got you covered.

If 7 – 11 is open all the time, why is there a need for locks on the front doors? This is a usual stopping point post work many evenings before arriving home. A last minute grab of any small thing I may have forgotten at either Fresh and Easy or one of the many other stores I pass on my way home. They carry the usual junk foods, soda, beers and most anything else you can imagine. This 7 – 11 is cleaner than most I have been in, and I’ve been on lots of road trips in my time! Trust me I’ll take a 7 – 11 restroom over any other gas station pit stop any day; that is of course if you are fortunate enough enough to gain permission from the clerks. Everything is a bit more expensive than a grocery store, but then again you are paying for the ease of virtually no line, and the rapid pace at which you will be expedited to your comfy sofa at home. The parking lot can be a crazy mess, two driveways which are both located in weird spots on two very busy streets. I don’t seem to be giving 7 – 11 any ringing endorsements here, so you may ask why I have so many check ins here? Well I’ll tell you, it has everything to do with the huge discount on cigs if you buy two packs at a time. In addition to a childhood favorite that takes me back to when I was little, puts a smile on my face and makes me think of Bart Simpson,… the slushie! The great American summer cool down beverage for everyone.

Dropped a red-cherry slurpee on myself :( Dude perpetually on his bluetooth was mean. I would have said something but I was busy plotting my revenge. The biggest transgression though? Out of blue raspberry slurpee. ALWAYS. What’s a girl to do? These things are important to me.

This really is a terrible 7 – 11, and what Daniel said about the employees is true. I’ve been hit on a couple of times by the employees here. One guy actually said, «Nice boobs». AREYOUKIDDINGME?! It didn’t even hit me that he actually said that until I walked out.

This has got to be one of the worst 7 – 11 stores i’ve ever been to. It’s dirty as hell, the beverage machines(Slurpee, soda, coffee, etc.) are filthy, oh yeah and the employees are rude as fuck. Me: «Excuse me, you ran out of 20 oz. cups» 7 – 11 Dude: *on his cell phone* «Okay» Me: «Um, would you happen to have any in the back or stored somewhere?» 7 – 11 Dude: — *still on cell* «I don’t know» Me: «Could you maybe look?» 7 – 11 Dude: «I’m busy» Me: «Nevermind, thanks anyway.» *walked out* What the fuck kind of shitty ass service is that? THANKYOUCOMEAGAIN. Fuck you!
