Old fashioned customer communication that includes a nod and a smile, that’s the style at Apollo’s. Self serve coffee indicates trust and good faith in customer honesty. Hot salsa is optional, served on the side automatically, and delicious on fluffy eggs enveloped in a firm but flaky tortilla for the breakfast burrito… And the cheese stands alone

Hopped by this place, as I was very curious about it– this is exactly the kind of old school place that Burbank excels at– takeout window diner food. Fair prices, with the usual suspects– burgers, fries, sandwiches, but everyone that ordered there that Saturday morning were there for one thing only — breakfast burritos. I got the bacon one– filled with egg, american cheese, bacon and hash brown. The side of salsa was nice to give it some more zip. I wouldn’t say this unseats the crown of corner cottage for best breakfast burrito in Burbank, but without the long waits I’ll take it any day. Heads up — cash only.

The breakfast burritos are the best. I have also had their teriyaki bowl. The teriyaki sauce is very thin but it is still good eating.

Corner Cottage who? Best breakfast burritos are at Apollo’s! Call ahead to place your order and don’t forget to ask for an extra side of salsa! Note to the business: Can y’all open on Sundays please? Just for a few hours?

Great breakfast burrito stop. Wouldn’t come here if I was rating the young girls who take your order. They aren’t very warm or friendly so just a heads up, it’s been that way for the many years I’ve been coming here. Couldn’t hurt to greet customers with a smile. They open at 7 during the week(not sure about weekends) and are a Cash Only spot.

This is the only place comparable to corner cottage when it comes to breakfast burritos. If anything, they do an even better job at times… Hear me out before you roll your eyes, you corner cottage cult members(I too am a member it’s ok). Apollo does a better job at making their eggs nice and fluffy, super soft. The cheese potatoes and bacon are just as good. And Apollo lets you request the tortilla extra crispy which is just a bonus. Alsooooooooo, they have the best club sandwich in Burbank. Yes I said it. I don’t mess around when it comes to sandwiches — any food actually.

This place is my absolute favorite breakfast burrito joint. I always get the double sausage with everything. I LOVE the fresh salsa they offer. I wish they would bottle it up and sell it. I have tried a few other things on the menu, and they were all ok, but really I come here for one thing only. I have tried the bb at Corner Cottage and it was decent. Much bigger too so a better value, but I prefer the taste of the bb here. My only complaint would be that it’s pricy ordering double sausage, but if I don’t there simply isn’t enough. I’m poor, so I don’t go as often as I like. It’s surprising how many people give low stars over such petty things. Don’t be that person. Only give a bad rating if they truly deserve it.

CASHONLY Thank god I actually had cash on me today. Very rare. Dope local joint. A lot of workers end up here. Place is pretty small also so theres hardly any seating when its packed. Classic diner menu. I got the breakfast burrito. Small burrito for 5 bucks. Comes with salsa. Very small burrito btw. Its was pretty decent though. Bacon eggs hash brown. They way they wrap it though makes everything uneven. I had bites that were more egg than hash brown and so on. All over the place. Its a decent burrito just wish it was bigger. Overall decent quick breakfast joint.

People compare this place to Corner Cottage all the time. Corner Cottage does a great sausage breakfast burrito and an okay bacon breakfast burrito. Apollo does a BANGING bacon breakfast burrito. Like any warm-blood carnivorous human-shaped meatsack, I adore bacon. I know there’s only one way to serve bacon, and that is crispy. And at Apollo, I’ve never had bacon so crispy in a burrito before. It’s awe-inspiring. Get it with potatoes, skip the avocado(they’re not using great avocados, so it just makes the whole burrito bland). If you like to call ahead for pickup, be aware that they shut their phones off on most Saturday mornings because they get so busy. If you want your fix on Saturday AM, you’ll just have to wait at the counter with the rest of us plebes. They get docked one star because no, the customer service isn’t great, but the transcendental experience of biting into one of their crispy bacon breakfast burritos is more than enough to make up for it.

Breakfast burritos have American cheese. But they serve breakfast all day. Hash brown in the burritos are more like mashed potatoes. They are generous about the salsa and it looks fresh but it just lacking something and doesn’t have the right kick. Corner Cottage is better but they just stop breakfast at 11 and I can never seem to get to them in time. Why can’t we just have it all?

AMAZING breakfast burritos. The salsa goes super well with it, I wouldn’t recommend getting it without salsa unless you hate spicy food. The staff can be kind of rude, but I’d sacrifice my happiness for 5 minutes for one of these breakfast burritos.

So I called in to order a bacon breakfast burrito. I asked the lady if I can substitute hash browns for extra cheese and before I finish speaking she says no then proceeds to ask what I want. I told her a bacon breakfast burrito and she asks if I wanted the extra cheese & I said no. She tells me it’ll be ready in the 10 minutes. I get down there in 10 minutes and I go up to the window just to see all the workers talking. While still talking to her coworkers the lady asks what I want. I explained to her that I called in and she says«extra cheese?» And I told her no that it was the bacon breakfast burrito. She says ok, grabs a bag and rings me up and it was more than I expected so I asked if she charged me for extra cheese and she tells me yes… I told her I didn’t ask for it and she says ok, tells the cook in Spanish that i don’t want extra cheese, then tells me she’ll make me a new one while she slides the burrito towards the cook and laughs. So I told her I didn’t have time and left. That was the worst experience I’ve had there. Last time I was waiting nearly 30 minutes for a burrito. I will not be returning.

Apollos has been one of our families favorite breakfast burrito spots for the past 5 years! When I go I usually get the bacon breakfast burrito with extra cheese and extra bacon. With of course my side of OJ! The reason I have liked this place for such a long time is because when you bite into that burrito it gives you something that melts in your mouth but yet gives you something to chew on! The cheese they use the this burrito is what’s my favorite. It’s American cheddar cheese but when you bite into the burrito it gives you«cheese on my teeth» feeling which I think what great cheese is. But besides the burrito their burgers and fries are also to die for. I’m a strong believer in sauces. And I have to say the ranch sauce they give you compliments the whole meal! Highly recommended!
