Artin is honest, creative, fair and an absolute pleasure to work with. We hired Artin to remodel out outdated existing pool — he modified the depth, added a spa, baja step, created new entry points to the pool, and did hardscape work around the pool and in other areas of our yard. When we decided to make changes mid-​stream, he was always flexible and it was like working with a best friend. It is clear that Artin’s primary goal is to make his customer happy. His pricing is fair and he was always thinking of ways to stretch our money to make the biggest splash!!! I highly recommend Artin — 5 stars all the way.

Artin (Athlon Pool) did my pool, took the money and disappeared. My pool equipment does not generate salt/​chlorine and his promises to take care of it have been lies. He is dishonest. I would not hire him.

I sent a message to this business inquiring about putting a new pool in my backyard. Artin called me back within 24 hours and we set up an appointment for ⁰⁷⁄₀₆ at 6PM for him to come to my house to review plans etc… He never showed up and never called me to tell me he would not be able to make it. Do not want to spend thousands of dollars with a company that does not make a meeting.

Athlon and Artin (owner) are amazing! When I bought my place a year ago, I needed someone to come out and scope out the work the pool needed. Artin was honest and straightforward and, best of all, doesn’t try to up sell. He has since replastered the pool, exchanged out my old pump for a variable speed, and since I liked his work so much, he helped design and build my bbq area. He’s quick to answer questions and come thru if anything is wrong. Only caveat is he’s very very busy, so projects might run a little bit longer than expected, but the results are worth it! Oh, and they also do weekly pool service and my pool looks pristine every week! Highly recommend.

I live in the Burbank area and have owned a pool for 15 years. I’ve been thru a number of service people. Art is a solid business guy. I’ve never had anybody answer their phone on a Sunday (pools always have problems on the weekend when you want to use them) and have absolutely never had anyone help me diagnose and check the problem over the phone without wanting a service call maybe 2 or 3 days later, if they bother to show at all. Not only did Tony talk me thru the likely problem but he was right on and I was able to clear the issue myself. No one out there provides this kind of service, let alone response. Give him your business, he’s earned mine.

I had a small problem with my pool’s saline system. Called close to 10 guys. They either didn’t return my call, or weren’t interested, or never showed up. One guy tried to sell me a $ 3400 upgrade right over the phone. Not Artin. He diagnosed the problem right over the phone. He came out the next day and replaced the faulty part. He charged for the part and only $ 75 for the house call. Outstanding!

Athlon just converted my pool to salt water. He and his team did a great job. They were very straight forward and honest about pricing and the work was performed quickly and exactly as promised. Compared to so many contractors who are so often unreliable or flakey, Artin is a breath of fresh air.

When we decided to put in a pool in, I did a lot of research. It was a big purchase and I felt like I couldn’t get too many estimates, learn too much about potential pool finishes, chlorination systems, etc. I met with a lot of pool contractors and pool salesmen. Artin from Athlon Pool was highly recommend thru Unilocal.Immediately clear Artin was different, wasn’t interested in upselling me on a spa, fountain, and high end decking. He was happy to build the no-​frills pool we wanted, suggesting only minor changes that turned out to be some of our favorite features, and weren’t additional expenses. He was really frank about pool finishes and which upgrades were a waste of money. He was the definition of a «straight shooter,» which is a trait I really value in a contractor. When the time came to make a decision, Artin took us on a tour of pools he’d built in the valley. Immediately we noticed a few of things: 1) These weren’t just pools built in the last six months. Some of them were 3 – 4 years old, still looked great, and Artin was proud of them. 2) Everyone was happy to see him and gushed about what a great job Athlon did with their pool. 3) Artin was happy to help people out, long after he’d finished up the job. At one house we were stopping both to inspect the pool and so Artin could drop off his pressure washer so the owner could clean off his pool enclosure. Our pool came in exactly at the price Athon Pool quoted (aside from an upgrade we suggested at the last minute that he graciously accommodated) and on time. He was in frequently communication about the stages of construction (since we weren’t around during it). We absolutely love it and everyone who’s come over to swim has remarked about how good it looks. I don’t hesitate to recommend Athlon Pool & Spa to friends considering putting in a pool or having someone maintain the pool. He just exceeds all your expectations and makes you feel like you have family in the pool business.

We called Athlon pools as our pool was impossible to keep clean. It was green and disgusting and the chemicals weren’t working. Art the owner returned my initial call within a day and came by the following day. We also had a light that had burnt out. Art assessed the problems and explained our options. We decided to have it acid washed. He gave us a great bid and his guys were on time and very professional. Our pool now looks AMAZING! I can’t even believe it is the same pool. I’ve been using Athlon Pool Company for about 3 years now and they have been perfect since day 1. I’ve had many services done on my pool besides my weekly cleaning and they have never once made me doubt their ability to do the work nor did they try to overcharge me. The guys that come are always alert, well mannered, always clean up and lock up before they leave.

Our pool had an issue with suction and our Kreepy Krauly hasn’t worked well in months. Then, the pool motor that we bought from Leslie’s Pool Supply broke and they offered $ 330 for a replacement part. When all hope seemed lost, we found Athlon Pool Company!
The owner, Artin came was extremely nice and extremely helpful! He came to our home and gave us a quote for the pool motor repair which was much more affordable than Leslie’s option. Not only that, but he went above and beyond by eliminating a non-​useful filter we’ve had since the 70’s AND fixed the suction issue by clearing out major blockage in the lines.
Our pool cleaning and filtration system have never been as functional as they are now and my family and I have Artin and Athlon Pool Company to thank for that! The best in the valley and highly recommended for those with the simplest or most infuriating issues at a very reasonable price! Thanks guys, we will definitely be coming back for your business!

I highly recommend Athlon pool company. I had a pool built in my back yard. They explained the procedure step by step and they had a 3D design of what the pool would look like when done. Their prices are very reasonable and they did a fantastic job. They have great customer service. You can’t go wrong with these guys.
