I’m surprised they have such a low rating … Every time I come to this location everyone is very nice and always willing to help! Particularly Cynthia or according to the staff «Miss Cynthia» is always super sweet & helpful. She knows which questions to ask to find out your particular «sent» preferences or as a gift shes there to help ya’ out. I promised myself I would write this review since This was my the second time I needed assistance & had the pleasure of dealing with Cynthia. =^_^=

Amazing service by everyone! The staff was very helpful and knowledgable. I highly recommend citron cedar wood for the season.

I love the aromatherapy line here and needed to run in to do an exchange for something I purchased a while back. I was greeted by a super friendly associate who quickly asked what I had in my «holiday» bag. Busted! haha!
I hesitantly mentioned I was hoping to do «just» an exchange and he warmly told me not to worry, I could swap out for like items and even offered me their newest scent in the form of a BBW ribbon bracelet. Fancy. ;)
Anywho, I ended up getting someone not too experienced at the register trying to understand my exchange and when the friendly person, Artin, which I later found out his name swooped in to save the day and my time.
He was gracious in taking over with the associate, efficient in doing my exchange, super friendly and funny.
I was putting off going in to do this because so much time had passed but Artin went above and beyond to make me feel ok about it all and left me desiring to return for more goodies when I have more time.

NATALIE gives excellent customer service:) (finally got her name! Didn’t notice a name tag this time.) every time I’ve came into this store she always makes my trip worth it, so thank you. I went to exchange my marshmallow fireside candle yesterday because there was no throw. I bought two more and I have to say I’m some what disappointed. I feel like they came out too early in the fall collection as I usually only see the MF in the winter collection. Maybe because of the early shipment, they didn’t make them as well? anyways I haven’t burned my pecan waffle candle yet but I have a feeling it may be more successful than my MF /​: anyways, thank you for your great service skills Natalie! You’re awesome and you need to be Promoted girl.

This rating is based purely on customer service:
The employee with short red/​brown hair whom was stocking products near the front of the store was amazing. I wish I knew her name so I could post it here. She helped me find what I wanted right away. Thank you, Miss, for making my trip worth while.
The other two (an older lady with glasses I believe and a young man) were rude as hell. And I also wish I knew there names! The lady was stocking something behind the counter while I waited in line for the young man to finish up with the customer infront of me. When he finished, he left to go help someone in the store. I actually said aloud «WAIT!» And he proceeded to leave the counter. I stood there for a while before the lady even noticed me. After asking if I was ready to pay, she instead answered a phone call. She talked to the customer on the phone all while rolling her eyes INFRONT OF ME, and when she hung up she started making fun of that person to the young man.
You two need to learn some manners.

Let me start by saying I fucking hate malls. Crowds of people all over the place, snotty ass kids running around like damn fools while their dumbass parents just stand there and watch, horrible parking, overpriced shit, etc…
Christmas time is the only time of the year i’ll step foot in a mall and I did just that two days ago. I went into Bath and Body to score my chick some good smelling shit, because if I smell good… uh, well then she should too.
When I walked in I was overwhelmed by all the girly shit surrounding me, rubs and scrubs, lotions and creams, hand sanitizers and candles, etc… Just then a sweet girl with pretty eyes and killer smile, came up and asked if I needed help. I sure the fuck did, but I didn’t want to seem like I was a novice at this gift-​giving thing so said «No thanks just looking» who the fuck says that?! Anyway, she probably figured I did need some sort of assistance so she started telling me about the ways I could get a bunch of shit and save money. Well hells fucking bells you sweet young thang, you is speaking my language now! So she helped me out, I picked out a bunch of crap, and with the help of this girl, Shantala (spelling?) is her name, I saved cash. Pleasant experience, i’d hit it again.

I came here with a friend. I have never been a big fan of this place and its intense smells. While the store is nicely put together and the staff is friendly, its just not my style. I would rather smell good with perfume.

Don’t hate me because I want my skin to be soft/​smooth and smell good too…
I have been a customer of Bath & Body Works for quite a long time. Just when I think I’m going to give up getting their products and try another line, I find I’m just not as happy with the results.
Things I love about this place.
— if someone gives you a gift and it’s not the right scent, you can bring it back and trade it for one you like
— the buy 3, get 2 free deals are great
— the discount coupons (if I don’t space out on the expiration date) are great
— nothing keeps my skin smooth and soft like the body creams
— have also become a huge fan of the plug in room fragrance (they can keep even the smelliest rooms smelling good)
Really… the only thing I can whine about is some of the scents I used to love have been replaced. I miss the OG vanilla. I used to be a serious vanilla fan.
My new favorite the the Aruba Coconut… but I’m kind nutty about coconut in general.

The level of customer service in this particular B&BW store definitely leaves me thinking, «Meh. I’ve experienced better.»
The entire basis of this company is «Our Customers Rule». As someone who has worked in a large number of customer service jobs, including a few years at a Bath and Body Works on the east coast… I know how difficult that can be sometimes. I also know how to be a good customer, and it’s frustrating to me when I’m treated poorly when I try so hard to be friendly and easy-​going when visiting any retail or restaurant establishments.
A few times I’ve had to make returns and exchanges at this Bath and Body Works location in the past few months due to my pregnancy and frequently changing tolerance to scents. I know doing returns or exchanges are frustrating to employees, so I always make a point to make my returns/​exchanges when I’m also making a purchase so that it doesn’t throw off anyone’s sales numbers. I bring my receipt, and I have everything organized before I go up to the register to make it as easy as possible on the cashier. I also try to go during non-​peak times if possible.
Still, in spite of all of this, the employees at this location have always been incredibly rude. Glaring, mean looks… just stuff that I don’t need in my life, especially when I’m going out of my way to try to be a good customer. Once when exchanging a candle (and making an additional $ 30 purchase), the cashier made a huge scene about taking the used candle, wrapping it up in a bag, stapling it, writing on it with a sharpie, and disposing of it before finishing my exchange. Why not take care of your customer and then do that after I leave? Seriously unnecessary, a huge waste of my time, and incredibly rude.
The only reason this location doesn’t get one star is because the location is convenient enough and the store itself is generally decently stocked. The customer service is unfortunately horrific.

Today was a mall crawl day.
I appreciated the friendly, welcoming staff. The girl (s) who helped me and my friend browse-​but-​not-​buy (cause we’re broke ass fools!) were very friendly and also very knowledgeable about the products and promotions.
Me gusta.

This Bath and Body Works at Burbank has questionable customer service.
The employees I’ve encountered either don’t know their company’s return/​exchange policy or they don’t follow them and make up their own. It is disheartening for customers who do not educate themselves on Bath and Body Works’ return policy and are ripped off by the employees here.
For anyone who doesn’t know, Bath and Body Works has an excellent 100% guaranteed policy. That means if you don’t like a product whether you bought it or received it as a gift, haven’t opened it or have used it (even if it’s more than once!), you can return or exchange it if you’re unsatisfied.
That’s why I feel safe shopping at this company. I know if I purchase a product (and since I buy so many, I don’t usually get to using it until a few months later), I can always exchange or return it if it is irritating or doesn’t work for me.
The company explicitly states you can exchange PRODUCT for PRODUCT, meaning lotion for lotion, shower gel for shower gel, etc, in the same size regardless of season/​date/​selling price, or receive a credit for the lowest and/​or current selling price.
For example, if I bought a Sweet Pea 8 fl oz. body lotion, and the scent was too overpowering as I wore it over the week, I can exchange it for another scent in the same size. It shouldn’t matter if the scent one is returning is the current Sweet Pea, a discontinued Dancing Waters, or holiday scent Winter Candy Apple.
The employees at this store don’t follow that. Today I was shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond in the mall, and decided to do an exchange at this BBW. I brought back a Winter candle that wouldn’t burn evenly, and they would only let me select from the two pitiful candles they had available since everything, including the scent I was trying to do an even exchange for was sold out. I was told I could only exchange for those two candles since they were from the same season.
Moreover, I was accused of not knowing how to burn a candle. I was told my candle burned perfectly normal. I had to actually defend myself and tell the employee it only «looks normal» because I was melting the edges with my lighter, burning it for 8+ hours, and soaking wax with a cotton ball in an effort to have it burn evenly and the wick not drown.
To sum up this Bath and Body Works in the words of Skye Sweetnam, it sucks.

Yet another stop for our Black Friday shopping.
For some reason the Burbank Mall just isn’t a mad house during the holiday season, so if you can avoid the galleria, the mall in Burbank is seriously your best bet. I’m glad we went there.
You can never go wrong with the deals that they have here, for some of the best body sprays, shower gels and lotions. My husband loves the mens stuff there, so we got him some of the Ocean stuff and the Woods stuff. Really nice and fresh smelling.
Buy 3 get 3 free. Had to load up on some of my favorite scents there.
The place is pretty small for a Bath and Body Works, not many people working here on the floor. The only person I saw was a man that insisted that he continue to wash his hands with the samples that they had over by the sink area. I wasn’t too sure if I should have bothered him or not with any questions. I do like that they have those convenient shopping bags to use. It makes the process quick.
My mom isn’t exactly one to process what people say right away, so when she asked if they did gift wrap and the cashier said yes, she assumed that it meant that they wrapped it all up for her. She asked them if they could wrap it for her (meanwhile, I’m trying to hide), the lady politely said that the line was really long and that it wasn’t a good time for that. She was so nice though, that one of the girls that was just coming back from break offered to do it for my mom when she heard the cashier politely turning my mom down. While the lady was wrapping the stuff, I had to pull my mom aside to tell her that they didn’t wrap the stuff there for free, they just gave free gift wrap (literally just a cellophane bag and a red blow with some tissue paper should you want that), my mom went to apologize to her for the misunderstanding and the lady simply replied with, «it was my pleasure to wrap that for you». Pretty nice, I must say. Especially since they were pretty busy.
Now that’s customer service!

It’s Bath & Body Works. the only thing that makes these cookie cutter chain stores different is the staff.
Greeted as soon as I walked in by a more then friendly metro sexual.
He told me about the buy 3 get 3 free, but it always seems it’s always like that.
I came in to stock up on my Japanese cherry blossom.
I like that they don’t hover over you, they offer you a shopping bag and leave you to shop.
I’d like it more if it wasn’t in the mall to be honest. and I think two bags would had been nicer then throwing and 9 of my heavy lotions and spray into one tiny bag.

Like any other Bath and Body works, nothing too special about this one …
I generally like to come here for two reasons:
first: After a greasy ass meal, I like to wash my hands in their display sinks and lather my soft beautiful hands with their free soap, and watch the grease drip down the sink.
second: When I run out of wallflowers (Air fresheners) …
The staff is usually very friendly, and most of the time, usually a cute girl helps you out and hands you a bag to shop in their store …
Nice scents … perfect to help your nasty ass smelling house (if its nasty) …

Bath & Body Works… where does my love affair start?
I think their scents, and the variety of scents they have is unbeatable!
Also — their prices is unbeatable. Check out their smells on any day you’re walking through the mall but do NOT BUY until there is a sale. Why wait, you might think? Well the point is — you never have to wait long. Every week or two there is a different, new sale or deal for whatever reason.
The most recent sale was for Memorial Day — Buy 3, get 3 free! That literally means you’re cutting the prices in HALF! For me, I would be buying their Body Creams whether they’re on sale or not, so that’s serious savings for my wallet. Makes me very happy.
Also — their personnel is out of this world friendly. It was Memorial Day Morning, fairly early… I would expect people to be grumpy because they have to work on a holiday, but they were super chipper, excited, and enthusiastic. This one girl kept coming back to check on me because I probably was spending sooo much time smelling everything, but she kept making really good scent recommendations.
They have some new lines which came out recently which are ultra delicious — go try them out: Country Chic, Carried Away, Into the Wild… oh — and the Coconut Passionfruit is super summery!

The lotions are the best! Always nice and clean :)

I go to this store about once every two months, but I never buy unless they are having a sale. Their scented products (which is almost every thing) smell nice. When one sale, the prices are reasonable. I got the plug in «Wallflower» today for $ 5 and a package of refills was also $ 5.
My favorite are their candles — which on sale (3 wick candles) are $ 10 each! Also, they rotate the scents of their candles and lotions, especially around the holidays — so stock up if you like them (I miss the Leaves candle and the vanilla mint or peppermint lotions…)

Short Version: Seriously friendly.
Long Version: Even in the crush of angry customers desperately searching for last minute gifts, the folks working here are friendly and helpful. That’s no small feat, especially in L.A. And they always have all the different flavors (Yes, I said flavors, not scents) of soaps that you’re looking for, so you don’t have to worry that they’re out of stock. It may look a little smaller than other branches of this store, but it is just as powerful, my friend. If you need to clean up your act, why not smell pretty while you’re at it?

I’ve been going to this Bath & Body Works store almost as long as I’ve lived in Burbank. Considering I’ve been in this neighborhood since early 1996, that says a lot. For a store that’s smaller than some other Bath & Body Works stores I’ve been in, they have a wonderful selection of merchandise, and I never feel pressured by the sales people. They greet you as soon as you enter the store and tell you about the current bargains and sales they’re having, but after that, you’re left alone to do your perusing, sampling with testers, and looky-​looing.
In terms of the quality of the products themselves, I have always been very satisfied with the body lotions and body butter products. The body fragrance sprays are also very nice for spritzing after a bath or shower. The quality of their products, as well as their fragrance selection, is far superior to some other stores I could mention.
I’m also pleased to note that they’ve increased their product line over the years and now have a nice selection for men! And if you’re into aromatherapy, or bath salts, or massage oils, they have a nice selection of those things, too.
All in all, I consider this shop one of my favorite Burbank haunts.
