Bob’s Auto & RV Repair

Bob is an amazing mechanic! When I first went to him he was working on a Ferrari! I have an old RV that I bought to go camping and fishing with. A few months after I bought it the headlights started flickering, then the brake lights and running lights stopped working. I took it to Pep Boys and after looking at it for a few hours they said they couldn’t figure it out and I would have to take it to an auto electrician. I then took it to Camping World thinking since all they work on are RV’s, they would be able to fix it. No luck. The 3^rd time was the charm when I went to Bob. Not only did he get everything working but he did it all in less than a day! I dropped it off in the morning and by 3:00 he said it was ready! Wow, this guy knows vehicles. He talks about them like people, but I love that about him! If you don’t know a good, honest mechanic in the Valley, then Bob’s your man!!! You will be very happy you tried this place.

The eponymous Bob runs a one man shop in a quiet section of Burbank Ave. He works quick and is endlessly pleasant to deal with. One problem though; he’s so sweet, you can’t negotiate him down. It’s like dealing with a puppy. Still, I got what I paid for faster than I expected it, so he’s got my recc.

In early January, 2012, based on these Unilocal reviews I called the day before to see if he could do a brake job on my RV — it is tough to find shops that will work on RV’s and not charge a super premium. I had never used him before.
Took it in the next morning and he seems to have done a very good job at a reasonable price — suggested some small additional work that was clearly needed (fuel filter change) and also tightened some things at no charge. The RV was ready when promised and no surprises.

I was referred to Bob by «Bob,» the BMW mechanic around the corner who has been working on my father-in-law’s car for decades. What a great hook-​up this turned out to be! Bob of Bob’s Auto and RV, checked out my car, determined my problem was my transmission, did not charge me a dime and referred me to Oliver’s Transmission (maybe the last honest transmission specialist on Earth!) It just goes to show that great talent and good character knows itself when it sees it! Thanks Bob, Bob and Oliver for setting my trusty, dusty Jeep to rights! :-)

I have been taking several vehicles to this mechanic since he was locally highly recommended, from European sport/​luxury to American muscle. He knows what he is doing and does very good work.

I have been taking my cars to Bob’s for several years. Bob is the only one that will ever work on your car. He does not have a bunch of other mechanics working for him. He is a very nice and honest man. I feel very comfortable taking my car to Bob’s and asking him to look it over and take care of anything that needs to be done. He will only fix what is broken. If you are looking for a mechanic you can trust, then you will be delighted with Bob.
