Specialties

Burbank Books & Antiques provides the discerning book readers the opportunity to own a variety of limited signed first editions and autographed books as well as early printed books, rare bindings, illustrated books, literature, and ephemera. In addition, we specialize in rare European and American prints from mid-1800’s to contemporary artists.

To complement our offerings, we carry in our inventory antique furniture and accessories, bronzes, Asian art and custom jewelry. When looking for a gift or a personal treat, you will always find something of interest.

Whatever your interests – literary classics, contemporary authors, rare books or antiques – we have much to offer from our extensive and constantly changing inventory. We appreciate your patronage and we will always stand by our commitment: dedication to our customer and excellent customer service.

History

Established in 2002.

While running our brick and mortar store, we have been selling on-line for over 17 years and built a strong reputation and recognition from our local and international customers. Our books travelled all over the world in finding the right owner and many of our personal collection of art, porcelains and antiques ended-up in one of our customers’ home. We care for every item we have in the store and some of them spent years in our home before being brought here. Now that we have a physical presence, our customers visit us and keep coming back for new antiques.

Meet the Business Owner

Alice and Adrian D.

Business Owner

Operated by Alice and Adrian, the co-owners of the store, they both have over 35 years of experience in the fields of books, art, antiques and jewelry. Some of their experience was accumulated during their younger years in Europe where they still shop every couple of years, and later enriched here while specializing in late 19th century, 20th century and contemporary books and antiques.
