Burbank Washette

Ripped Off! My wife and I decided to bring our king size duvet in to be laundered. When she went back to pick it up, when we were told it would be ready. it wasn’t. Two days later she went back to retrieve it only to be given SOMEONE else’s old STAINED duvet, with an unfamiliar pattern on it. She immediately notified the staff and they acknowledged that they «made a mistake» and «must have» gave our property to another customer. they then assured us that they would contact the «other» customer and take care of the switch up. They also said that they would call ASAP to let us know when the other customer was contacted and brought in the duvet that belonged to my wife and I. Well… NO phone call, NO duvet and when she went back in she was told that «we» must be mistaken and that we were given the duvet we brought in. Hmmm, I think I would know the bedding I sleep in nightly, we are very familiar with it, NOT the stained, different patterned poor quality duvet that we were given and told «this is yours». Totally absurd! Like being given someone else’s oversized under garments (stained) and told they fit! I suppose the worst part of all of this is to be flat out lied to and treated very rudely.
As a long time Burbank resident, it is so disappointing to see the transgression of service and dishonorable dismissal of truth. Customer service falls to the wayside.

Burbank Washette has been handling my dry cleaning needs for the past 4 or 5 months. Lily’s always sweet and cool about everything like dealing with stains or alterations. The place looks like a cluttered mini-​sweat shop… However, the service has always been friendly and prices on items like comforters are great. Drop-​off & pickup times usually fluctuate between 24 to 72 hours.

I’ve gone here a few times. Many times the clothing returned is much thinner/​weaker, and stains have not come out. My clothes are much worse off.
I do recommend this place for a cheap patch/​tailor job

The Burbank Washette always does an excellent job with my shirts and my girlfriends things. Lily and the other ladies are very friendly, helpful, attentive, and courteous. I never thought I would enjoy dropping off and picking up dry cleaning so much. If youre looking for a dry cleaners that gets your clothes the cleanest, knows their fabrics and delivers warm sevice with a smile — this is the place!

Very bad experences here. I should have stopped going here months ago but it’s within walking distance so I kept going back, and regretting most of my experiences.
Strike 1: I took one of my wife’s new shirt to get cleaned, picked it up with holes on the seams. When I brought it to their attention they said that my wife must have done it. It was more frustrating dealing with their defensive attitude than the fact they ruined the shirt. Oh and they charged me to fix it… twice because they did not find all the holes during the first repair. I should have stopped here.
Strike 2: I took a pair of pants to get altered. When I came to pick them up they were not ready. I came back on a later date and they asked why I picked them up so late. I had to remind them that they did not have them ready when they said they would. This was particularly annoying.
Strike 2: My wife and I each took a pair of pants to get hemmed. We asked them to hem them and press them. We paid to get them to get pressed and they were not even though we were charged for it.
I should have stopped going here long ago and prevented strike 2 & 3.

The person that wrote the review right before mine must be the owners themselves because I cannot imagine anyone who would be happy with their «service», if you can even call it that. GET A LIFE! NEVER AGAIN! LIARS!

The next time you go in, make sure you check your copy of the receipt they give you when you drop off your items. They intentionally leave it blank and then go back in and write in whatever dollar amount their heart desires. When I tried fighting the extra charge, they sent in THEIR COPY of the «receipt» and that’s how I found out that they are ripping people off. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! She even gave me someone else’s suit. I took it home thinking it was my husband’s and when we found out they gave it to us in error, I took it back — like a decent human being would! NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!! They won’t be in business too long. Guaranteed. Everyone will figure out how shady these A******* are and will take their business elsewhere, just like I did!
I don’t even want to give these people a 1 star, but I have no choice!

Everytime I take an article of clothing to these ladies whether it be for alteration or cleaning they always do a fantastic job.
The prices are great too, I never feel like i’m «being taken to the cleaners» when I hit this joint up.
