History

Established in 2008.

Right about the time I turned thirty, I found myself facing a divorce. I had been married to an alcoholic, and was surprised to see how my life was turning out. I jumped head first into personal development and relationship seminars to figure out what I had done wrong, and what I could learn to do things differently. I learned so much about where my boundaries were missing, that I hadn’t been clear on who I was or what I was really looking for. People started coming to me for coaching on all types of topics, and I found out I was a darn good coach. So I got trained and certified, and started my business. I created, met, and married the man of my dreams. Then we had our daughter. While on Maternity leave, I realized what a domestic disaster I had become, and created TheMommiesGame to help me regain balance in my life, and now I’m sharing it with other Mommies around the world. In playing the game it became clear that new parents need relationship help too.

Business Owner

Meredith O’Brien Canaan is a professional relationship coach and owner of Canaan Coaching & Consulting, and creator of The​Mom​mies​Game​.com. Over ten years ago, while going through her own divorce, Meredith began participating personal development seminars through Landmark Education, PAX, and Peak Potentials. Through these programs she began to enjoy the difference that she made for others, and learned she has a talent for coaching. With this in mind, she became professionally trained as a Coach by CoachU, the largest and one of the finest and most respected coach training schools in the world. She is a graduate from CoachU. She is also certified by the International Coach Federation which she holds the designation of Associate Certified Coach (ACC). After creating her own dream relationship, she designed programs to help others find romance and happiness too. Meredith is now happily married, and has been with her husband for over 8 years. They have a beautiful 2 year-​old daughter.
