Business Owner

As a gentle, caring and dedicated practitioner, Dr. Polushkin places his patients at the center of his dentistry. He sees his role as a health care provider above all else, committed to providing the highest quality care.

Dr. Polushkin is a firm believer in using continuing education to complement his clinical experience and stay on top of new materials and techniques in the rapidly evolving dental field. Also, being a member of various professional dental associations helps us to stay abreast of the changes and recommendations for our profession. Patients love his warm and friendly nature and «gentle hands».

A graduate of the University of California Los Angeles School of Dentistry, Dr. Polushkin specializes in all phases of general & cosmetic dentistry including Tooth Colored Fillings, Crowns, Bridges, Bondings, Teeth Whitening and Pain Management.

The best dentist I have been to (and I’ve tried many :). Very knowledgeable and patient. Explained everything that needed to get done before doing the work. Prices are very fair (I am a cash customer). The staff (Ina and Rose) are very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I’ve already sent 5 referrals there and I would recommend everyone try Dr. P.

GOT TEETH? Go see this Dr. and you will be happy (at least as happy as you can about going to the dentist) — My whole family has seen him for many years and he’s as kind and lovely as you would want for someone poking around your mouth– and fyi quiet, nice office in Toluca lake.
Now go get your yellow choppers turned into pearly whites.

I have been a patient of Dr. Polushkin’s for a number of years now. Simply put, he is the best. His staff is wonderful, the office is easy access, The surroundings are professional. Dr. Polushkin is relaxed, very kind and, most importantly he is highly skilled. Yesterday, after my appointment, I told him that I love coming to the dentist. And I meant it. How many people can say that about their experiences with dentists? I cannot imagine going anywhere else for my dental care. That says it all.

From the moment I made my appointment with Dr. Polushkin, I knew I made the right choice. The whole staff was exceptionally nice and very pleasant to talk to. Rose, the receptionist, made my visit very welcoming and explained my visit thoroughly from the parking situation to how long the visit will take. The level of professionalism along with the friendly warm environment impressed me.
As I meet with Dr. Polushkin, after my X-​ray, I was also meet with a warm smile. As he was examining my teeth, I became a bit nervous to hear how bad my teeth were. To my surprise, I was not lectured on how bad of a job I was not taking care of my teeth but he was genuinely concerned about my teeth and was objective about the whole situation.
Unlike my past experiences I would be scolded like a child and told to take better care of my health. I was very appreciative of Dr. Polushkin’s approach. I was also impressed by his gently approach as he was cleaning my teeth with the water machine. (I’m a big baby when it comes to pain and hearing the teeth being scraped.) Overall it was a great experience and will be coming back next month to get my teeth fix. Yay! I am so happy to have found them. :)

Dr. Polushkin and his staff are very delightful to be around. Most people I know find it odd that I enjoy going to the dentist. His hours are flexible, service unparalleled and rates are very reasonable. He is definitely my family dentist for life!

Thy never answer their phone! So this makes it really hard to even schedule an appointment. They don’t do xrays, check up and a cleaning all in the same day, which means you have to go tree at least twice. I decided to go back to my other dentist a couple months later because I wasn’t happy here. This Doctor seemed to have more important things going on than his patients. A couple months later my dentist found 4 cavities while this Doctor didn’t find any.

I moved from Century City to the valley a year ago and when it came time for my yearly visit I really didn’t want to drive all the way back down the hill. I asked around a friend told me about her dentist, so I figured I’d give it a try.
What a great decision, I’m truly no longer scared to visit the dentist. My cleaning was quick and painless, I even had 2 cavities, received a shot in my mouth for the first time ever and didn’t feel it! I was in and out of there and I’ve been back several times since.
If you’re looking for a great dentist, Dr. Polushkin is your guy!
*I hear the new office is great, real modern with a great fish tank!

A few years ago, I needed some cavities filled. I had so many (thanks braces!), that I needed to go on 2 separate occasions to get them filled. After the first few fillings, I complained to Dr. Polushkin that one of the teeth that had the filling, was feeling quite sensitive. Instead of brushing off my complaints, and saying something along the lines off «oh it happens, you’ll get over it, ” Dr. Polushkin researched, and found some ridiculous 8 step procedure to be used when filling cavities that prevents this occasional side effect of sensitive teeth.
And during the whole procedure… not once did i complain about pain. Even when numbing your mouth, he managed to find a way to do it that avoided the whole pain issue.
That’s the kind of dentist Dr. Polushkin is. He is constantly researching and studying the field, so he is always on top of his game. He is quite patient, and extremely gentle when working on you.
To this day, i still go to Dr. Polushkin for all my dental needs — cleanings, bleachings, etc — and always come out of his office satisfied with his efficient, quick, and professional work!

He’s friendly, makes me feel comfortable and always puts me at ease (even while getting shots or fills).
His office in Burbank is very conveniently located and is clean, with a friendly and professional staff. I am always promptly seen and do not have to wait in the waiting area or in the patient room for a long time. I think he’s a great dentist, and I would highly recommend him to others!

Dr. Polushkin is a delight! I found him through Delta Dental’s website, and his office was very polite and professional when setting my appointment for the very same day.
His assistant was very gentle and did my x-​rays in no time flat. Dr. Polushkin did my cleaning, and his assistant did the polishing.
His laid back demeanor and friendly attitude made this a very enjoyable visit. I will pay for those extra cleanings just to keep going back!
The office is very clean and offers a view of the Warner lot and the mountains.
