The Dreaming Tree is a production company that produces its own features, documentaries, shorts, and commercials. In addition, we provide creative and technical services for film and video producers. The Dreaming Tree has over 15 years of experience in the field. The Dreaming Tree offers its clients full service pre-production, production and post-production. Our facilities include a 25’x35’x15’ studio, edit bay and production office. Equipped with the most modern digital video equipment including a Red Epic, our company combines expertise and technology to create high quality film, video and multimedia projects.

Oktay Ortabasi is a award winning Director/Director of Photography that specializes in narrative features and documentary projects. With over 15 years of experience Oktay has shot award winning films as well as directing his own projects. In addition he has done work for many television production companies and fortune 500 companies. He is easy going yet hard working, fast and focused on quality.

Dreaming Tree provides a great atmosphere and environment, as well as stellar value.
We rented their green screen sound stage this last weekend for a music video, and had an excellent experience. Screen is pre-lit (correctly) and the stage has ample power. Great dimensions to the room, which also has a working A.C. Staff (Oktay and Leslie) are prompt, courteous and accommodating. Great amenities: kitchen, makeup area and lounge — all clean and well maintained. Parking was plentiful.
Further, location was ideal: the studio is in a low traffic, commerce area of Burbank, close to restaurants and downtown.
An excellent studio: I recommend.

They are always warm and welcoming and the studio is clean and well organized.

Excellent studio that serves a multitude of purposes. The green room is set up correctly with the right lighting that ensures the proper result for easy editing! I would only trust The Dreaming Tree for something this important. If you’ve ever had bleed, bad spots, or skin reflecting green, you know what I’m talking about. It saves time and money to go with a professional set-up by people who care.
The staff was always willing to answer questions — very helpful. And considering the whole package, the price is always the best. It’s convenient, sized well and in a good location. I highly recommend this studio.

I really enjoyed using this studio and working with the people here. They were very friendly and easy to work with. Which for a studio is very important. The stage was a great size and I liked that they had a green room set up on the side plus had a bathroom and make up station area where we could set up. The price was very fair. Really just a great Studio in Burbank to shoot at. I like that they are close to Costco, Film Tools, and other vendors so I could pick up things I needed while we were shooting. Can’t recommend Dreaming Tree Studio high enough.
