This place is the absolute best. Carlos and George did an amazing job replacing the convertible top on my 350Z. It was ready when they said it would be. Their price couldn’t be beat. I live in the OC and they were close to $ 450 LESS than any shop down here. Luckily I work near their business. If you need ANY interior work done, this is the one and only place to bring your ride. I’m referring all my friends and coworkers to this place. Thanks Carlos and George.

Called up Carlos to redo my bike’s seat, he quoted $ 50 over the phone, when I showed up, he told me he can do it in half a day and instead of $ 50 he charged me $ 45. He did a great job cover my motorcycle seat with a new one. I’m very happy with his work.

Carlos does great work at the best price. He replaced the top on my 2005 350Z roadster and everything came out great. He’s also a really nice guy. Gave me a ride back home after I dropped my Z off and had it done when he said he’d have it done. He has all of these five-​star reviews for a reason. Shop is a bit hard to find, but he’ll meet you outside when you pull up. Highly recommended!

Carlos is the very best so great I drove from the Bay Area! His work far exceeded my expectations and the price was much less then what the Bay Area shops wanted to charge. I will never ever go anywhere else. I wanted two toned car seats and I swear the factory could not have done better at keeping my classic car sexy and unique!

A previous reviewer said something to the effect that you’ll likely end up here after shopping around, so you might as well make this your first stop. He was right. Carlos did a really good job replacing the ceiling upholstery in my 2002 Nissan Xterra. He matched the colors perfectly, and it looks as good as it did when I bought it 12 years ago. All for a price that was 30% less than I thought the lowest price could be for the work. I couldn’t be happier.
The location he works from is actually in the alley near the address– so it may be best to call ahead to make sure he’s in and that you can find him.
I can’t imagine you’d regret the decision to go with him.

Carlos is a very conscientious worker and a good guy. He does really good work and offers you a very fair price. I had him re-​upholster the two front seats for my 2002 Toyota 4runner and he did a great job. With the new cloth and added cushion in my seat it feels like a brand new seat again. My hats off to Carlos and his brother. I will use them again if needed and will refer my friends to him.

I came to E & C largely because of the great reviews here on Unilocal.I had a driver side seat, and two visors redone as the leather cracked over the years. His prices were great for sure which is why I still gave him 3 stars and the work was passable, but not good. First he was extremely late in getting it done and I had to go back repeatedly as there is no safe place for him to keep a car over night. Secondly he didn’t actually do the work either his partner or employee did. The seat came out okay at best its already showing signs of wear at the side seam. Rather than replacing the side material he just trimmed it and moved the seam to where its hard to miss when you sit down. I had him redo the visors because it looked like an amateur had done the work. He never fixed my seat because once again he ran out of time and wanted to reschedule. Carlos himself might do good work, but I’ll never know because he never worked on my car.

The heat damaged the vinyl armrest in my car. After reading the reviews I decided to call after work. Thankfully, Carlos answered and he was kind enough to wait for me (the shop is usually closed at 5pm) to get there so he can see the damage.
He was able to repair it right then and there, and the price was extremely reasonable! It looks even better than the original upholstery. I definitely recommend Carlos!

He does professional work and has prices that no one can beat anywhere. The attention to detail is like no other and I am very pleased with the seats he did for my 1991 Honda Civic SI. They are better than stock and look identical to stock. He even matched the pattern of the material WOW.

I got my headliner replaced because it was sagging enough that it was both a health hazard and safety issue. When I got in for the first time, it was like driving a new car it was so well done. I am more than satisfied at the job he did.

Carlos is fantastic. Had a motorcycle seat for my son that needed a new cover attached he took car of it no problem and at half the price of the other shop that I took it by. If I ever have anything I will take it to him for sure !.

Carlos is a professional. First, he gave me the best quote after much shipping around. Because he was the lowest, I was a bit skeptic. He surpassed my expectations in the quality of the materials he used and his workmanship. It was a hard job with lots of little and delicate parts and screws on a vintage BMW motorcycle.

I can’t believe this guy is real ! He beautifully and perfectly reupholstered the whole interior of my 1979 CHEVROLET CAMARO, and beat everybody else’s price !! the work couldn’t have been better. I paid a different guy 5000 dollars to redo one of my other cars, and it wasn’t even HALF as good as what Carlos can achieve in ¼ of that price. I wish I had known about Carlos from the start. He takes pride in his work and the detail, he’s very friendly and fun to chat with, and keeps no secrets about his process !! It’s like dealing with a family friend.

Carlos did a great job on my front bucket seats for my ’67 Chevelle. He matched the grain and stitching to the rear bench seat to make it look the exact same SS pattern. Great job and for a great price!

I needed the canvas top and rear window on my converible replaced so naturally I turned to Unilocal.After reading the reviews of E & C Jr I gave Carlos a call and went over for a quick visit. His place was a bit tricky to find at first (look for him in the alley behind Swordplay, 64 East Magnolia).
I found a good deal on a new top/​window online, and I came back about a week later to have Carlos install it. He did a great job at an unbelievable price!

Carlos reupholsetred my two front seats for my 1974 Camaro. I was there as Carlos did the seats. He is a very approachable guy. We talked for a good hour. Most places dont even want to say a word to you. Carlos is a kind hearted person. He very dedicated to his work and been doing upholstery for more then 20yrs.
I highly recommend E & C Auto Upholstery to everyone. Carlos has operated on all types of vehicles from luxury to classic sports vehicles. He’s doesnt belive in overcharging and will definately give you a better quote then anybody in Los Angeles.
