We came in, thinking it would be your average Magnolia vintage shop.
Trust me, we soon found out it is not!
The workers are super sweet and they care more about you and if you like it and if YOU are happy then selling it and money. They are more like your personal shopper than your salesperson. So great. A+++++++++++++++
We got two halloween dresses — one for $ 6 and one for $ 8 (I know, right!!!). The $ 8 dress had a part we didn’t like — it has a spider design on it. The worker gave us flowers (for free!!!) to put over it. Awesome!
They have a little part of the store with a couch, cookies, a coffee machine and water. This was so great because there are literally no restaurants on that part of Magnolia, so naturally we were starving and parched. They have customer service down.
Everything is super cute. They gave us lots of dresses to try on until we found the perfect fit. They really cared about us and they wanted us to look our best. It seemed that they didn’t care about money at all. It has a really homey atmosphere.
Overall, I wish I could give Encore Nouveau twenty million stars. But, 5 stars will have to do.

Susan was awesome! Happy and jovial! Susanne was a silent observer who made us feel welcome! Awesome place if you like to wear women’s clothes or just want to relax with your woman friend! Or your wife! Lol

These ladies are fantastic. First, the atmosphere is fabulous. My friend kept talking about it and I usually will do the thrift store route but this was so worth it and honestly not much more expensive. The ladies will spoil you rotten, make suggestions with zero pressure to buy, they even have a dress up box when I have my two daughters with me to keep them happy longer. Snacks, and a fancy restroom, tips and they will coordinate an entire outfit. Just love them

I hate shopping. Seriously. Did I say, I hate shopping? I hate shopping. I don’t know what exactly the issue is with me and clothes shopping but I feel like I’m missing a chip because it is not the pleasurable experience for me that other woman always talk about.
Last summer I discovered this shop while driving by (I needed an outfit for a special work event) and I saw the perfect dress on a mannequin outside which ended up fitting like a glove. I ended up going back another afternoon when I had more time and the ladies there kinda changed my life. They helped me get some wardrobe basics to build upon and take more pride in my appearance. I can’t wait to go back and get more fabulous items.

I’m not the kind of girl that usually likes to shop for hours but these ladies make me feel so relaxed and know how to pick out items that are perfect for me! I can’t stop telling everyone I know.

I went in here with my husband, expecting that this would be just another vintage consignment shop on Magnolia Blvd. Boy was I wrong!
Now the ladies that run this shop constantly state that they are not in the business of ‘selling’, so they could care less about marking up their prices and shelling you for your money. Instead, they prefer to see every outfit you try on so that they can help you find the apparel that best matches your figure.
Seriously, they’re like the aunties you never had or something LOL. They’re quite lively women, and always get so excited whenever they see a patron try on a new dress. They leave such sweet comments about how the outfit looks on you and what accessories go best with it – speaking of which, the ladies have also helped me pick some accessories to go with the dresses I bought there.
They really do act more like they’re your personal consultant than just another salesperson. It also helps that their prices are so cheap – I bought two dresses there, all for under $ 100! They told me that they’re able to sell them at these prices because they get these dresses from the film industry and such – all have been worn only once (by famous people nonetheless lol), so they’re gently used and this is how they’re able to resell them at such good deals and in good condition as well. I could’ve sworn that everything I bought here was brand new!
The ladies were so nice that they gave me not only a 15% military discount, but I got one of the earrings I wanted for completely free as well. I told them that I recently got married, and that I was looking for an ensemble for my husband’s upcoming military ball. I told them that I was on a budget, so they decided to give me one of the earrings for free as a wedding gift from them. :)
(Mind you, these ladies love LOVE small talk, so if you’re gonna take your time trying out dresses, at least your partner won’t be bored waiting for you thanks to them keeping him occupied LOL. They pretty much doted over my wedding story).
They swore that they wouldn’t let me leave the shop until I bought this one teal gown I found there, so that’s what pretty much happened LMAO
I will definitely be coming back here again whenever I’m down at Burbank – especially for the monthly even that they have called «Ladies’ Night Out» (it’s every last Friday of the month, and all the shops at Magnolia have cool stuff going on during this event)!

My wife and I just happened to walk by this little store while looking at the different vintages shops for an evening gown, and decided to take a look inside. They had a huge variety of dresses and ladies clothing and jewelry, from vintage to brand new designer dresses, some used as props in movies or worn in photoshoots. No clothing is acquired from the general public. The two employee and owner were so nice and helpful and loved to talk and gave great suggestions for jewelry and occasions for different dresses. They also have a little lounge with free coffee, tea, cookies and water. We will definitely be back to see what they have in next season!

These ladies are so helpful and make your shopping experience simply lovely. Being in there reminds of being in a vintage closet where you just want to play dress up all day. My new favorite shop in Burbank.

This place is FANTASTIC!!! I live in San Francisco and make it a point to stop in every time I am in town to see what amazing goodies I can find!!! There aren’t enough good things I can say about this wonderful place! The ladies that work there are so sweet and incredibly helpful!!! You will find clothes and jewelry that no one else is wearing. If you have a chance stop by… You Won’t Be Disappointed!!!

Their Unilocal deal brought me through the door, and the excellent customer service and totally amazing selection had me coming back for more! The woman who has been working at the store both times I was there is so knowledgeable and very friendly. And as for the incredible selection, you can easily lose track of time in there, sorting through a variety of unique and vintage-​y items

This place is great. i bring my wife here every couple of months and she always walks out the door with a smile on her face. We always find something she likes. She’s 5 months pregnant and her birthday was a few weeks ago. Since I wasn’t so sure about buying a dress I ended up buying this fabulous hat that she now loves. Very helpful staff. Very reasonable prices. Unique and original clothing. 5 stars for sure.

I went into Encore Nouveau for the first time this past Saturday… Lauren, Susan and Kathy were so wonderful and helpful. I was buying a Vintage 30’s dress for the Burbank Boys and Girls Club Gala! They were so excited to help me find the perfect outfit. Not only do I have a favorite new place in Burbank on Magnolia to shop… I feel I have made new friends… You must go into this shop! It is the BEST!!!

I frequently visit many of the great shops and restaurants on the Magnolia strip here. Some of the proprietors of these unique and well curated shops are, by far, the most thoughtful, kind and friendliest in LA — that is NOT the case here.
I recently passed by and saw a dress on display on the sidewalk I was absolutely determined to buy. My friend and I stopped and I had my dog, a small, toy breed who arguably has the shortest hair in the canine world. We entered the store and the woman behind the counter, an older, blonde woman was speaking to someone and a couple customers were in line. When she looked up from her conversation and took note of my presence, or rather that of my dog, her countenance morphed into a look of horror and disgust and she said «Excuse me…» proceeded to gesture toward my dog with her head and said «No.» Taken aback by not only this strange communication but the uncalled for hostility in her tone I just sort of fumbled for words at this point and said something akin to «Huh? Wha? Oh… really??» I really thought that according to her disproportionate reaction I had instead been dragging a rotting, putrid cadaver with maggots spilling forth about on the leash in lieu of just a small dog. I looked down at the dog to be sure. Yep, still just a dog. At this time she included «You’ll need to leave.» I shot a puzzled glance at my companion who muttered something about her behavior as incredibly rude and that she behaved as though the dog was «an abomination!» as we hastily made our way out as she started to say something about fur and allergies. None of it apologetic, friendly or otherwise.
This could have been handled in SO many different ways that would have made this policy fine — I can totally respect that, but not this bizarre, very rude behavior. All I can say is that I am relieved I did not support this store any by giving them any of my money.

After going to It’s a Wrap which was a disappointment, I came in here in search of a flapper like dress and immediately I was greeted and helped. They have some beautiful pieces for decent prices, but not much of a selection for my small size. The ladies recommended 33 Room next door for more vintage clothes in my size and sure enough I found a dress next door. I even came back to this store just to show them my dress. Of course, I didn’t leave this store without buying 2pcs of jewelry. I’ll definitely be back to check out the collections and chat with the ladies. (Free 2hr parking at the lot behind the store.)

What the… Ladies Night out?! Thought that only happens with your own girlfriends but I guess any women would like to have a ladies night out with random strangers!
Came by here during the Holiday in the Park event, and this store had a booth outside selling their jewelries for $ 10 and up. Very bling-​y rings, bracelets and necklaces. A few necklaces looked humongous. They accept credit & cash. FIrst thing that will make you question is their interior kitchen
Ha, ain’t that funny. :P They gave out cookies and juice for the visitors, oh yums :)
The ladies night out is very tempting… I might just do it one day!

Love the ladies here! They are very animated and make you experience all the better in this store. The outfits are lovely, creative and fun! The layout of the store is cute, shoes and dressing room in the back, equipped with free beverages in the dainty kitchen area and seating. I have yet to experience the ladies night out but I hear its a lot of fun and they shut down the area, bring in food trucks and keep the stores open longer. It’s at the end of every month, one day only. I can’t wait to go!

Susan is amazing. She saved my trip, so personal, so attentive, and she’s got a good eye for what fits you ladies. So if you are in doubt, as I was, she’ll find you perfect pieces. It’s an experience!

Really cute store with some really cute inventory. They have to have one of the cutest changing rooms. Didn’t have any cute purses at the time but my friend who introduced me to place said she saw some last time, pity I live quite a distance from them. The prices aren’t too bad. Love the $ 15 rack. Staff was friendly.

I was in Encore Nouveau for the first time today and it was instant love !!
In some ways I don’t even want people to know about this place, like it should be a secret, however it made me so happy to have found this place I feel the urge to share :) The best part, the prices are absolutely affordable.
The owner who does the shopping for this store has magnificent taste. The clothes, the set up, even the dressing room, makes you feel oh so good. The way it’s categorized = two thumbs up ! Someone put some serious thoughts into it. The very sweet lady that worked there informed me about Last Friday Girls Night Out. Which means I’ll be going back one of those Fridays.

Encore Noveau is less of a clothing store and feels more like you are hanging out with your girlfriends trying on clothes and having «girl talk». In fact, the store is set up almost like a house and even has a little kitchenette area. Instantly when you walk in, you are welcomed by the insatiably bubbly owner and her employees/​friends. Free coffee, tea, and comfy chairs welcome you to just sit, sip, and mingle with them. Before long, you forget you are here to look at clothes!
Described by the owner as a «contemporary resale shop»; various name-​brand and bouquet clothing is offered in various sizes. The quality is high as Encore Nouveau is not a consignment shop but rather has a buyer whom works with other stores as clients for the pieces. Unfortunately, this reflects on the pricetag, as it is somewhat expensive. However, there is a $ 15 rack. The clothing is more in line with a trendy office worker or milf-​esque woman versus a younger appeal but works for the 20-​something year old searching for an outfit for a tea or lunch. My favorite part was when I tried on a blouse and it just didn’t push my «must-​have» button and instead of trying to talk me into purchasing it, the owner suggested that I keep looking. I love when store owners actually care about a customer’s satisfaction versus just selling the product!
