This is mine and my boyfriends favorite place to go! Affordable and great sushi. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I decided to try this place out after the show ended at flappers. It was good sushi but it could have been better. We ordered miso soup and there was hair in there, and the fish was not as fresh as it could have been. We got this role with avocado and jalapeño and it was delicious. Super convenient price and it’s central with ample amount of parking across the street.

Seriously, my bf and I were on a Sushi Kick for a few months trying places from Pasadena, to Burbank, to Beverly Hills — I won’t say we’re «experts» but we know what’s good and what’s not… Fuji Sushi is by far the best. You HAVE to try the SALMON, it is to die for. They have an amazing staff, always extremely friendly and the sushi is the best in town, always fresh. Huge menu, lots to choose from. There’s another sushi restaurant across the street and another around the corner — the one across the street has roaches, always busy, and not as good(Octopus, Boo). The other I’ve only gone once, but they put my sushi on WARM rice. Gross.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant in Los Angeles! I’ve been coming here for 8 years and they have not disappointed me once. The fish melts in your mouth and the prices are VERY reasonable. Get the Baked Alaska Roll! Mmmmmm… I absolutely bring visiting family and friends here. I know there are at least 4 other sushi restaurants within 3 blocks of this place, but trust me, this is THEONE.

first time here and I’m a little skeptical whether i love this place or just like it, but i will say i will definitely be back! came by on a thursday around 3 and the place was empty… there was literally one other person when we ate, she left, and while we left another single person came in. not sure if it’s just the time of day but it did not look good how empty it was anyway, another downside, we saw a sign on the front door saying«happy hour 3−6» but when we sat down, we were not offered a happy hour menu, we had to ask for one. little downside of the service at first after looking at the menu and some suggestions from my friend who had been there before, i ordered the following: spicy Tataki roll: spicy tuna with seared tuna on top, this was recommended by my friend and honestly, it’s no big deal, would have rather ordered something else baked langostino roll: now this was a mother load and ridiculously delicious big pieces of california roll and a huge mound of baked langoustine on top! i feel super bad and regretful though, if i didn’t order the tataki roll i would have been able to finish this roll! so good Albacore hand roll: this was excellent as well! amazing albacore mixture big chunks of fish and a nice size hand roll spicy Tuna hand roll: this was no big deal, would not have order again the two sashimi i ordered were a bit confusing. usually Sushi places will say«2 per order» or so many pieces per order. rookie mistake but it did not say how many per order so i assumed«1 per order» and figured the $ 3.50/per meant it was amazing sushi.nope.turns out to be 2 per order! seared Tuna sashimi: big pieces of fish with chopped garlic but the tuna was rubbery/chewy; also it was cooled, for it to be «seared» tuna, i expected it to be a little warm at least, but seems it was seared and left to sit hence the chewiness Salmon sashimi: this was actually excellent! melt in your mouth, smooth flavor, big piece of fish over little rice also ordered a large sapporo for happy hour at half price the service turned around for sure(not that it was a terrible experience at the beginning) and the sushi chef made us a little surprise of avocado montaint stuffed with spicy tuna crab and scallop topped with eel sauce, yummy! chef was super nice and waitress was very nice! so overall, few good dishes few not so good, and not great service turned to a great one! will definitely return and re-order the langoustine roll, albacore hand roll, and salmon!

Pretty nice sushi spot in Burbank. Place is huge, service was good, and food came out quick. I didn’t have any complaints about the place and the food is fairly priced too.

One of my favorite sushi spots in Burbank. Our waitress was such a sweetheart, she was very attentive. I always experience great customer service anytime I go there. Went there on a Friday night, got seated immediately. The food tasted great, their rolls are delicious and the little side salad is so good because of the home made dressing. If you’re ever in Burbank looking for some sushi, this is definitely the spot.

Good place to get some sushi but if you have a phone, Tmobile, you will not have reception at all. The service is really good and everyone is friendly, when they change internet issue will update review :)

Was looking forward to eating here because we were craving sushi. We were seated after five minutes. They looked under staffed, but there weren’t too many groups around. We were asked what we wanted to drink, and we asked for water all around. Service was pretty fast until we had to wait more than 30 min to get our order taken – which never happened. Everyone around us was being served. The group that came after us were served and taken care of. We became upset and decided to eat somewhere else.

I love this place and wish I found it sooner. I have already been several times to try several different things before leaving a review. I always order for pick up since it’s for my lunch and I work near it. Their prices are great even without the happy hour. The staff is incredibly sweet! I haven’t eaten there but I do like the layout and the look of their inside seating. Not once have I gotten an order that I felt the fish was not fresh. Their portions are nice too! Also unlike many other sushi spots in LA they are NOT stingy with their spicey mayo, which is awesome lol! I have tried multiple items, some of the higher end and some of the lower and have not been disappointed with any of them. Their spicy tuna is very delicious, I order it practically every time with the other items lol They have also been fast every time I pick up, usually it takes me about 10 min to get there and it’s almost always done by the time I arrive. This is a place I’m not going to stop going to!

I recently transfered my work to Downtown Burbank and i was craving sushi one day and i found sushi fuji on Unilocal. In dt Burbank there are three sushi restaurant that is near by my work. I’ve tried Kabuki and Octopus but didnt offer the quality taste that i was looking for, So i’ve decided to give Sushi fuji a try. FYI, from the outside the restaurant looks very small but from the inside is HUGGEEE! Anywho, i got a warm welcome by the chef and the server as soon as i walked in the door. Since i was alone i decided to sit on the sushi bar. I forgot the chefs names but there were all nice and gave me good sushi suggestions! I ordered salmon, mackrel, yellowtail, Albacore, uni, and some miso!(i recommend miso soup to go along with your sushi to wash it down!) When i bit into the sushi, my first thoughts were«WHEREWEREYOUALLMYLIFE! WHYAREYOUSOOGOODDD! Why did i find you now and not before!!!» All of there fishes had clean taste and melt in my mouth! you have to give this restaurant a try! There quality of fish come close to «sugarfish» or even better!

Husband and I came on a Sunday evening. It’s was quiet but not«too quiet» where you wonder if it’s quiet because they’re not good. Anyway we ordered the Vegas roll and the baked baby lobster roll. Both had 6 pieces and were delicious. It took a while for them to arrive because one was fried in tempura batter and the other was baked. We also had 2 ice green teas which they topped up very frequently, nice! Our bill was less than $ 30! The staff were friendly and the restroom was clean. Would return and maybe sit at the sushi bar and have sashimi!(You can order sashimi at the tables too) Not sure about parking since we parked by the mall and walked.

I seriously can’t believe I waited this long to try this place. Ive been to their neighbors across the street, octopus, many times for sushi but am glad I walked on the other side of the sidewalk today! This place is awesome and yummy. Service: Our server was so nice. She was the only server on when we went and was a little busy but took the time to always keep up with us which I really appreciated. The sushi chefs and busers were also very kind and helpful. Food: The food is fresh, which is obviously very important for sushi. My favorites were the snow crap roll roll and the spicy tuna hand roll. We got about eight rolls total and everything was very yummy, fresh, and crispy! Atmosphere: It’s a very spacious split trip level space. The décor is very simple but very clean.

Very nice décor. I like the 3 different floor levels and booth seating. The sushi was pretty good. I had the new york steak roll. However it is bbq rib not steak.(rib in a ca roll and teriyaki sauce) It was good to try once but not something I will order again. The other basic rolls were pretty good. They have an appetizer that is mozzarella and crab baked in a wonton. Avoid that. Also they have can soft drinks. I don’t understand why these sushi places don’t have fountain drinks. Call me cheap bit I have an issue with paying $ 2 for a can of coke. Another downfall was, all of our food arrived at the same time. The appetizers came with our meals. I recommend trying this place but I won’t be a regular here.
