The owner was great. My wife and I enjoyed the food and ambiance. Definitely going to come back.

I dont usually post on Unilocal,in fact, this is my first time. After I had the salami sub at Giorgios I knew that I HAD to write about it since it was THE best salami sandwhich I can remember ever eating. The bread was perfectly toasted, toasty on the outside and soft on the inside, while the salami and feta cheese combined together in harmony. I’m not sure if the sub comes with the feta cheese since I asked for it but it does come with«cheese». I’ve eaten a number of different foods here and they are all great. The pizza, the burger, the different sandwhiches. But after I had this salami sub I had to make sure everyone knew about it. If you haven’t eaten at this hole in the wall yet, you’re missing out!

This place has the best pizza 4 the price. U can get a real good large size pizza with 1 topping on it 4 $ 5!U can’t beat that anywhere around. The owner is a nice guy 2. Sorta hard 2 find as it is an industrial area, but we’ll worth it!

My first review, and there is a reason. Gary/Giorgio is such a good guy, and he is making up incredible eats that is cheaper than fast food and delicious. HUGEPORTIONS!!! If you’re in Burbank you need to try this place out.

Ordered pizza with some coworkers, two XL2 topping for about $ 18. Surprisingly good, satisfyingly chewy/crispy. Pizzas were a little on the small side for what I expected. Overall, I’d order again.

After passing the semi-sketchy sign on Vanowen for years, curiosity finally got the better of us. My husband and I showed up at 3:15pm on a Saturday, and the nice gentleman behind the counter informed us he had already shut down the grill. We felt bad and started to say we’d come back another day, but he insisted he would make us anything from the cold menu and proceeded to make us each an amazing turkey wrap. Seriously, I cannot say enough about how good this wrap was. Turkey, feta, green pepper, mushroom, onion, mayo, mustard in a flour tortilla, perfectly assembled. It came with chips, but the wrap was so filling, they almost seemed extraneous. And the price? $ 5.75 a piece! You just can’t beat that for food that delicious and filling. As my husband said later in the day, still thinking about Giorgio’s: «I think that wrap made me feel better about the world.»

Definitely a hidden gem. Me and some co-workers had many times driven past the mostly clandestine sign which pointed to cheap pizzas and subs on our way to Fry’s. On a particularly cash-strapped afternoon, we decided to act on our recollections and try it out. Then, we came back three times in two weeks. Hidden amongst a brick complex of editing studios and equipment rental companies, it clearly has a built-in clientele. It’s a tiny, totally out-of-place storefront. Clearly, their property is paid off: there’s no other way they could possibly charge this little for their food. We’ve had salads, pizzas, hot subs, and cold subs here. They were all great. They look very plain. Very standard. But damn, they were all great. Not even just delicious considering the price. Just plain delicious. I will say that the cold subs are better than the hot ones. In my experience, anyway. A colleague gets the meatball sub every time and it looks pretty tasty. The tuna melt I had upset my tummy a little bit, but nothing too bad. I also just have a really light stomach, so it’s probably me. Everything looks really plain, the ingredients look really plain, but the whole thing elevates beyond the sum of its parts. The bread they use for their sandwiches is big and light and toasty and crispy. It’s great. But yeah, this place is totally unassuming and unpretentious, and the people who run it are polite and accommodating and generous and generally really cool. If it were even possible, the price should be represented by half a dollar sign. You can get a perfectly sized meal with a drink for like $ 6 total. After tip. It’s crazy. If I had anything critical to say, it’s just that you have to keep in mind that it’s usually one dude back there making everything for your party one at a time. So, there can often be a bit of a wait between people getting their food. But hey, it’s just one dude back there! I’ll let him fully off the hook. One time, we came there and they were blasting Armenian music rather loudly. But other times, there was no music and the atmosphere was almost too quiet. Good for talking amongst a group, but probably fairly dire if you’re by yourself. Very very reliable. I will keep coming here regularly! They even have a curb’s worth of dedicated parking… I don’t think I’ve ever eaten so close to my car while still technically not eating to go.

I’ve had two pizzas and an Armenian coffee from here, and it’s some of the best coffee and pizza I’ve ever had. Not only that but the customer service is incredible. This is a family ran operation which makes me even more happy to show my support for them. It also helps that they are right around the corner from my place. I look forward to trying more items on their menu, and I highly recommend you do the same. This place is a gem.

There’s no place like Giorgio’s. Well, at least no place to eat around this tiny slice of Burbank. Aside from the friendly service(and best tuna sandwich around), what other restaurant offers their home garden-picked white grapes as a dessert(seasonal btw)? That’s the thing about this place — there’s a little personal touch in every dish and it makes visits here all the more worthwhile. Grazie, Giorgio! Love you!

Per Unilocal users ordered the club sub and it was the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time… If I’m in the area again I visit again.

So I’ve been coming to Giorgio’s ever since I started working close by about 8 months ago. I wouldn’t say I’m a regular, but I come in about once a week at least. First of all, everything on the menu is fantastic. Pizza, salads, and especially the sandwiches. My favorite has to be the turkey, and as far as salads go, the chicken Caesar is fantastic. But the one thing I like most about this place has to be the owner. He’s here pretty much every day, busting his ass to give everyone extremely good prices and exceptional food, and whether you come in once a day or once a year, he talks to you and treats you like family. Truly the nicest people on Earth working here. Today is a chicken Caesar day for me. Tomorrow… maybe a turkey sandwich. This is definitely one of the best places around. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you need to!

Damn Jerry, what’d you put in this Club Sub Sandwich? Crack laced bacon? I ate the first half thinking I’d shove the other half in the fridge… nope! I just kept eatin’ & eatin’. I couldn’t stop! Great, now I’m an addict & you’re my dealer. Awesome.

The club sub is seriously the best sub I have ever tasted. The pizzas are also very good. I would recommend going here if your in the north Hollywood Burbank area. It is located right behind the train stop at the Burbank airport. Its in a back street so its kinda hard to find. There are a few signs hanging on top of gates but they are hard to see. This place has everything you can want for lunch and breakfast. The breakfast pizzas are also awesome. They prices are very good which is awesome because the food is very good and that is hard to find now days. Giorgio is also a awesome guy. I seriously recommend this place even if your not around the Burbank/North Hollywood area its worth the drive trust

Great spot for a very reasonably priced meal. Love the service, the guidance, and the attitude of the owner. Food is always good, prices are great, wish that I could get there more often. Get a grilled veggie sandwich!!!
