We’ve been live on our system for 5 months now. My largest bill since then has been $ 13 for September, which was unreal. Last Summer, my September bill was $ 276. I can’t believe the difference it’s made so far. It was nice to run the AC and not have to pay for it during the hot days this year. I’m so happy Green Conception did my install. Terrible company! I hated how unprofessional they were. Also they quoted me an outrageous amount. Their sales people were pushy and trying to force a project on me. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

After I told the Operations Manager it was immediately corrected in a very professional manner which was pleasantly surprising.

I found Green Conception on Unilocal and from several companies I got a quote from they were the only ones that took the time to tell me the difference between lease and purchase and why they don’t lease solar systems. I feel like they are honest, experienced and fair.
Also they only use US Made panels, inverters and racking systems. I asked them why they don’t offer other none US Made products and their answer was that they don’t cut corners and won’t install anything that was not US Made. This made me feel like these guys are true to their word and trust worthy.
Their team finished installing my 10kW system with micro inverters about 3 weeks ago and I got system connected a week ago.

Before Nick, I had spoken to atleast 5 – 6 installers and many were just people who were trying to market their company or product. Nick was very genuine and gave me all the information. He was able to give the right prices for the panels and micro inverters (things which I researched and found its price). I liked the way he handled my questions and even till the end, he didnt try to push the product to me. He built a system specific to my needs. I had a condition that I wanted to get this system installed asap, since I was leaving the city for a vacation. Nick promised me that he would get things done within the next two weeks including all the paperwork, since he had a few people who can try to squeeze in some time for it.
This company wasnt like most contractors (who get a contract signed and try to mint as much money from the customer). Nick started the process immediately and had a clear payment schedule. He was flexible to come and collect the payments whenever I was available. The guys who came to install the panels were very friendly and I was impressed with the dedication they put to install the system. I could see that they were very proud of their work.
And as promised, the system was installed within two weeks. Then came a long wait for LADWP to process the application (which is not under our control). Finally, in december they had turned on the system and it runs like a charm. I m now waiting to see my first LADWP bill.
