Haagen Dazs Shop

Omar helped me pick out and put together a beautiful ice cream cake to take to a dinner for Christmas. I have to say, if it was not for the customer service I received from him I wouldn’t have purchased the cake since I was still considering my options elsewhere. Also, Omar informed me that the shop had a Unilocal deal offer which was one of the factors in my ordering decision. A $ 59 ice cream cake is not cheap and the Unilocal deal helped me save $ 10 which was great. He was helpful, patient and let me try the flavors and suggested a few that he liked till we came up with a combo I was happy with! The cake was prepared as I had specified and was ready on time for my pick up Christmas eve. My only issue was that when I went to pick up the cake, the lady asked if I would like anything to be written on it. I thought about it and decided having it say Merry Christmas would be an additional festive touch. Well let me tell you, the writing was a nightmare. It was childlike and crooked. I would think it take skills to be able to pipe onto a cake so if you can’t write on a cake don’t offer to do so. Luckily, one of the other employees said she can try wiping it off and was able to do so without ruining the cake. Everyone thought the cake was beautiful and as far as serving, the chocolate shell was a little hard to cut though but that was expected so I think next time I would leave the cake out for a few minutes before trying to cut and serve though. Overall, the cake looked and tasted great and the customer service from Omar was what made it happen!

My boyfriend always gets the Wildberry smoothie at this location. I have tried it many times and this location always makes it taste amazing. Staff is very friendly and I like how it is super clean here and inviting.

Best haggen daz ever. I’ve been to over 7 other locations and only here do they make the shakes with real ice cream and not some fake juice. Every time I try this place is a great experience.

Love it. Even though i spend so much money every sat and Sunday. This Place is relaxing especially the staff their nice even the owner. She seem a bit intimating but after i got to talk to her she was so sweet. Nice to have a good staff. I Miss all the girls their will return again. XD Party Party Party.

The ice cream is creamy and delicious. We were allowed as many samples as we wished also! It’s even got a clean and comfortable seating area. But it still feels expensive. $ 3.75 for a kids scoop. Yikes! A tiny bit more than I would want to pay to come back any time soon.

the Unilocal check in is not honored but 4 stars because it’s one of the last Haagen Dazs shops standing. and it’s one of the last to make cakes.

The ice cream is always good. Fatty and sugary but that’s what ice cream is. But at last not on our diet of foods we can eat :(. Wish I was a kid again. The staff is always friendly and willing to give out a sample. Shows they are proud of their product. Haagen Daz is always a fantastic ice cream. Can’t go wrong with these guys.

Have been there again once subsequently, needed a small shopping break and ended up getting a good happy hour deal. Kept fingers crossed, but fortunately nothing bad experienced by the tummy this time. hope it stays that way :)

I don’t think it’s possible to not a Haagen Daz milkshake. Basically pick a flavor ice cream, they ask if you want whip cream and fudge, and then voila. milkshake happiness.

Ladies here are pleasant. They do try to up sell but are not pushy about it. I always have the Belgian Chocolate Shake but every flavor I’ve tried is good. Usually not very busy. I prefer this over Baskin Robbins. I tend to get sick of and not finish whatever I get there.

**Free Cone Day** (Technically it was more like free cone hours, since it was only from 4−8pm) =p
Why isn’t there more Haagen-​Daz stores around?! I had to drive like 15 miles to get here as this was the nearest location to me, but hey it was worth it for some free cone day with some friends!
There were only two people ahead of me which was surprising, since you would expect people to be all over FREE ice cream (I know I was, been craving ice cream past couple days cuz of the warm weather). Service was quick, just seconds after I said what flavor I wanted, BA-​BAM there was a cone in my hand. I got the brownie a la mode flavor, it had brownie swirls all up in it but after a taste from my friend’s salted caramel cone I had triers remorse, damn that’s a good flavor! Haagen-​Dazs, you’re chill in my book.

The boyfriend loves ice cream cakes so every time his birthday comes around, I get them from here. I always get the ribbon cake (has no frosting) and it’s made so beautifully that I don’t even want to eat it. And I love how customizable it is. You can choose up to 3 flavors but it’s a little too much so I recommend 2 (best combination: dulce de leche and coffee).
Also, I love that they have a punch card for cakes: buy 5 cakes, the 6^th one is free :)
The only complaint that I have is that when I tried ordering the cake over the phone, the employee had a very difficult time answering my questions and speaking English.
