Hands to Heart CPR is an American Heart Association authorized training center located in the heart of the valley. We pride ourselves on giving high quality courses in a low stress environment where students can leave with the confidence to be able to handle an emergency situation.

Our whole office got our re certifications done today in our office with Hands to Heart. It was GREAT! We were a total of 7 people and had an instructor come down to our office to instruct everyone at the same time. I called them on Monday and Maggie was able to arrange and instructor to come down as soon as Wednesday. This was awesome!
Our instructors name was Jose and he was super nice and helpful. He new exactly what he was talking about and we all felt real comfortable with him. Definitely made the class enjoyable with simple descriptions that did not intimidate you. Emergency situations are not easy, his demonstrations will help you keep calm to focus on just the simple things that need to be done. I would definitely recommend Hands to Heart for your training.
Oh, and all the equipment is well kept and looks brand new. #disinfected

Came here because I needed a CPR certification within 1 – 2 days. They have tons of classes so you arn’t waiting 2 – 3 weeks for your class. The CPR/​AED class is informative, easy, and hands on. The size of the class is 9 people or less which is pretty nice and make everything go by much faster. I had Jose as a teacher and he did a great job and was very friendly and informative.

I have done 2 Hands to Heart CPR/​AED Classes 2 years apart. I need them in order to hold my Personal Training Cert. Each class I took was very helpful. I had done another class somewhere else and it was a joke. The teacher didn’t care whether we knew the material or not and rushed through everything.
The most recent class at Hands to Heart I had Nicolette Vallejo. She was great! She took time to make sure everyone understood the material and wouldn’t move on until each person could do each step of the process. I will continue to renew my CPR/​AED cert through Hands to Heart.

I took an adult and pediatric CPR/​AED class with Jose here last night for my personal training re-​certification. Jose was not only extremely thorough, he made the class enjoyable. I was definitely not looking forward to spending three hours relearning the same techniques, but Jose’s method of «See one, do one, teach one» made the process super fast and easy to remember. There were only five of us in the class, and we all participated through the entire class which I believed helped us retain the information.
Only other comment I can make — there is easy, FREE street parking available around the building!

Just took a class by Jose last week and it was the best CPR class I have ever taken. Jose was direct, clear, to the point and funny! He did not waste our time and he gave plenty of time for us to practice what we learned. I will recommend this service to ALL my teacher friends who need to renew their CRP/​First Aid. CPR is a requirement for teaching credential, so I asked one of my classmate where she had done her CPR and this is the place she recommended.
Like all reviews say, the class was very concise and practical. Somehow, we finished within 2 hours and was on our way home after 2 hours. When I first thought about doing a CPR class, I was intimidated by the fact that it is a 3~4 hour class and I did not want to spend 3~4 hours in a room for CPR. However, this was done real fast and I am thankful that I found H2H CPR and took my time Sunday morning to drive here instead of doing an online course.

This was the best CPR/​AED class I’ve ever taken. Norman was an awesome instructor — laid back, to the point, with a great sense of humor.
I was dreading taking this class after my last experience (last time I went through the Red Cross and took a class in Glendale — it was long and awful and I didn’t feel like I got the best knowledge). But I was beyond impressed with Hands to Heart. Small class, informative instructor, ample materials for us to work with, and it didn’t take as long as I thought it would. The best part is, I feel like I could actually help save someone’s life after the class. :) Well done, H2H. And thank you for making the class fun, Norman!

I needed to take a CPR course, in order to obtain my teaching credential. Hands to Heart CPR is seriously great! Everyone was so kind and informative! Maggie is so sweet and helped me schedule a class (pretty last minute) that best fit my busy schedule. Norman was the instructor for my class, he was awesome! I was really dreading taking this class, but Norman made it fun and worthwhile. I was also pretty clueless walking into the class, and he answered all of my random questions. I definitely left the class feeling far more confident in my ability to react in an emergency situation. The parking was also a plus, many spots available right in front. If you need to be certified, I highly recommend Hands to Heart CPR. :)

Very informative class! Location not hard to find and 2 hours parking right in front (no meter). Due to an unexpected incident, I was 20 minutes late to the class but the instructor was nice about it and let me allow me to stay. My instructor was Robert and he was great. Only con, I wish the price was a little more affordable, but you’re being equipped with knowledge that could save a life… that’s pretty priceless.

Took my first CPR class today, probably since high school (long time). It was a great experience!
My instructor was Norman and this guy Rocks! He not only was very knowledgable, but he told us story after story of real life emergency type situations he’s been apart of. Which was great.
I highly recommend this class to anyone and everyone.

If you are looking for a fun and informative to way to get your CPR/​First Aid certification, this is the place to go! I called to make an appointment and Maggie (the owner) was so helpful. I could only come in after 5pm on a friday, and even though thats not the normal class time she put me down for a one-​on-​one training at the time the worked best for me.
Once I got there, Maggie was professional and personable. She was extremely informative and really made sure I was understanding the material. I’ve taken CPR classes before and must say there is no comparison. This class was not boring or drawn out and I really feel like I could put what I learned to use (hopefully I won’t have to!).
The price was right as well! Before I found hands to heart the cheapest classes I could find on 2 days notice, were around $ 90-​$ 110. At Hands to Heart I paid $ 70 for both AED CPR and First Aid. Noramally $ 40 each unless you take them together.

I was supposed to take a large group CPR class at work; however, I came down with strep throat and was unable to attend. I was scrambling around looking for a CPR class to take and found Hands to Heart CPR in Burbank.
AJ, who runs the company (I believe) and also teaches the classes was great. I attempted to sign up for a class on the first Saturday, but had problems with the website. I called and left AJ a message. He returned my call quickly and informed me that the class on Saturday was full. I was totally bummed!
Alas, AJ offered me a private session that fit with my schedule (on a Sunday) for only a little more than the group class. The benefits of the one-​on-​one class is that I got to ask all my questions and not take up other people’s time! My favorite part, it didn’t take 3 hours like the group class. I learned all the necessary techniques and scored a 100% on the test. Thanks AJ!!!
