Get rid of Gary and Shannon. Wake up Management!

When Gary said she was in line, your response was priceless. Love you guys, and Bill, John, Ken, Tim and The X-​Files guy at 10pm. Keep it up Shannon and Gary. Gary I remembered when you tried out for the bill handle show back in 2003 – 2004? And you had a joke about a Cat x-​ray? Keep up the great job KFI.

Except for Handal the day time is simply Republican light. Sensationalism, lacking and real substance. KFI isn’t fooling anyone. No fair and balanced here. Oh, and by the way — with the exception of Handal again, not funny. I remember when radio was important. «Stay tuned next, as the dumbing down of America continues, live on KFI!»

Well programmed station, especially if you enjoy endless commercials for some shady businesses, rotten teeth pitches, get rich quick, marginal loans for cars, etc. Pretty much summed up by a host who goes on the air as Jesus, yes that Jesus, and allowing listeners to think he’s for real. Bizarro world, that.

Just want to say that Gary is great alone. The female partner doesn’t cut it and brings him down.
Re: Conway is still funny but his repeat of sound tracks gets very tiresome. Also he shouldn’t get political. Love ForkReport and Sunday evening line-​up. Monique is okay and love the war stories that follow. Jesus is perfect !!! He adds a lot of class to the station. Handels show is very informative if he would just shut up with what he calls humor. Many times it is just out and out digusting like a 6 year old with only his crew laughing, He doesn’t seem to know it I guess as he continues. He once asked if he was becoming a dirty OLD man. «Becomming???». Listen to Imus for adult humor, He’s got class and is funny without trying.

This review is only pertaining to Gary and Shannon. Rest of KFI lineup continues to rock!
G & S — waste of time and resources. These two middle aged wannabe millennials have zero staying power. Obvious why Hoffman has been booted around the bowl and couldn’t hack it on Handel. His early morning show was pathetic; gave me reason to sleep in. He dredges up crap from wherever and has a difficult time even reading it, never name speak without prompts or props to any effectiveness. Should try out for a Wolf Blitzer backup.
Farren on the other hand obviously is trying too hard with limited capacity. Forced demagoguery and conceit make for a sickly combination. Definitely full of herself with absolutely no merit. A sponsor «whore» with the face lifts, collagen, follicular remedies, thinking that her listeners are as vain as she… rather disturbing.
Their guests are entertaining — Wendy Walsh for one. But we all know that Farren and Hoffman have no say in that — props to the show’s producers. But, somehow, even with the great guests, the ineptitude and lack of radio presence will eventually damn them.

the only hosts worth listening too on this sration are Handel, Conway and Walsh. Even John and Ken are tolerable! Gary and Shannon are a total waste of airtime. Gary has absolutely no personality and Shannon is very full of herself and a know-​it-​all! I thought Elizaberh Espinosa was bad… But Shannon takes the cake! I was hoping for an improvement once Bill Carroll left but now I wish he was back. I tune out everyday from 10 – 2!

This station has always been pretty average, but now it’s below average and has declined over the last few years.
Getting rid of Rush Limbaugh was the best move. I thought that maybe it would give the station a more balanced format, but I was wrong. Almost every on air personality is a hardcore Republican. The only person I hear anything that sounds at all Liberal from is Bill Handle, who I enjoy when I get to hear his show.
Shannon and Gary are annoying. They get paid big bucks to talk about random crap for four hours. One day Gary missed a show because he had to move to a new house and it was raining so Shannon called to check in on him. Talk about a first world problem! I don’t think either of them are very exciting to listen to especially when they insert their political opinions into everything. Most of the stuff they talk about is just fluff and TMZesque.
John and Ken sound bitter and angry on every show. I think they are Trump supporters too so that tells you everything you need to know right there! Every show they constantly complain about immigrants, Jerry Brown, Teachers, etc. They come off as really smug and arrogant. What qualifications do they have to be political analysts? Most of the stuff they say is pure opinion and not backed up by facts. They used to be okay when they followed court cases, but the right wing uninformed propaganda needs to stop. All the hosts on KFI need to quit screaming about Benghazi, which is a total dead horse. Millions of tax dollars and several congressional hearings later and they haven’t found anything. Let it go.
Lastly they have way too many commercials and a lot of them are for sketchy stuff,

I’m not sure what has happened over the past several years in terms of what news is reported on your station, however, lately, some of the content is so horrifying that i have had to shut off the radio so my kids won’t hear it. Why must you report things that are so awful and with such detail? Today, a horse was found dead after being shot and beaten on a public thoroughfare then his tail was tied to a telephone pole. REALLY??? Was this necessary? I think it really says a lot about the quality of your management when you repeat over and over stories like this one. It makes me furious when talk radio normally is one of the only real ethical and honest place to hear discussions on issues that reflect our current events and allow for intelligent discussions on those issues from any who wish to chime in. This type of reporting really degrades you if i have to shut the radio off so my ten year olds don’t have to hear about such ugly anomalies in this already downward spiraling society. Do you really need to contribute to it’s decline?

I listen from 0500 all the way to 0600 which is when I get to work. Aaron Bender and the morning crew keep me laughing and awake on my drive. They seriously are a funny group of cats. Michelle Kwon, producer Michelle, Libby, Justin etc. the sound drops are hilarious and when a story is funny they definitely know how to squeeze all the jokes out. The traffic updates are always on point.
I my drive home there the John and Ken show. Sometimes I’ll hear Mark Thompson and on the weekends I’ll definitely listen to The Fork Report.
Quality program and hosts that don’t take life so seriously as their on AM radio.
The station hasn’t changed my life yet, but looking fwd to that moment.

Bill Carroll is gone, I’m gone. You just lost the most intelligent broadcaster on radio. You should have done anything you could to keep him. I will never tune in again. Nothing but loud idiots in the rest of the lineup.

Yea, I listen to 640 AM radio on my 13 minute commute to and from work everyday. Bill HANDAL starts my mornings off right. Music now-​a-​days does not spark my interest. Unless Im playing CDs, its 640AM. My commute home also keeps me up to date with all the daily happenings, weather, events, ect. I love it!
Yay, the connection can be fuzzy at times, but its AM radio, what do you expect?
We were even on the radio last year when Jon and Ken were discussing a story that involved ME! They do a little afternoon interesting segment, So I called them up and told them their story involved me. Of course they needed to verify everything before my husband went on the air. But later during that segment, he told them what really happened.
I am a fan!

This station has something for everyone. Unless you have no sense of humor. Or, if you are narrow minded, a bigot, a misogynist, or a victim of affluenza.
Narcissists won’t like it either. Neither will people with low IQ’s.
If you are, however, a forward thinking, down to earth individual who enjoys satire, Murphy’s law and current events sprinkled with a healthy dose of sarcasm… you might very well enjoy this nutty station.
They can keep you company on any long commute.

I often find that KFI is subjective in their news reporting. One needs to
be careful when listening to the facts. Especially when it comes two presidential candidates that are not in line with KFI political agenda

I wish Elizabeth Espinosa well, and I hope she lands on her feet, but I’m glad she’s not on KFI anymore. I couldn’t stand her. I wish her success… quiet success… far away from any public forum.
I hope Mark Thompson is assigned to another KFI show. He’s awesome.
Everyone else is solid on this station. John and Ken crack me up.

I love KFI 640 AM because of the constant traffic and weather updates. I do a lot of running around and it’s a great source of news too. I love Tim Conway Jr., he’s so funny and a really smart man. Steve Gregory rocks. Coast To Coast is always interesting. John and Ken tell it like it is. Keep it up everyone.

I am glad someone finally pulled the plug on the Thompson & Espinoza Show… I accidently hit KFI on my radio, and discovered they were gone — good… now keep going, get rid of both Bills (they are dumb as bricks), and Monique (too squirrely for me). Then maybe I’ll start listening to you again.
P. S. Mark was more palatable that Elizabeth, but Elizabeth (if you happen to read this…), I am glad no one has to listen to your liberal social justice bull-​crap anymore. I have hope that Americans (in droves) will soon abandon all the liberal socialist rhetoric that people like you espouse.

Love KFI for the most part. Since i’m on the road a lot, i like their traffic updates.
Tim Conway’s show is the best. Handel morning show is still good, though kinda stale. John and Ken constantly crack me up, especially John’s rants.
I will say i am sooooo SICK of hearing about Unicom Global and how Cory Hong is a «extraordinary person» and a «visionary».

Sheer and utter waste of air space!
Trash talk call in programs, commercials aimed at mouth breathers, and in many cases recorded in house! A total waste!
I’ll check «Late Night Coast to Coast» to see if it’s worth a damn — it usually isn’t!
I’m constantly bombarded by offensive on air commercials and «news» (if you can call it that!) announced by some nameless half wit with and edgy voice and attitude.
George Noorey on «Late Night» has become no more than a two bit shill, hawking from gold futures to survival meals. 85% crap!

Clearly a station for old people. Most of the programs are old. The opinions are old. Even the commercials are for old people, LifeLock, buying Gold and Silver, etc.
Leo Laporte on Saturday is very good in an otherwise dated station.
The Jesus Christ Show is the creepiest of all!
The host Neil Saavedra, assumes the godly persona during a three-​hour call-​in show that airs Sunday mornings. Crazy people call in and say, «Good morning Jesus» and he responds as Jesus!
Often times he answers questions as Jesus. Creepy!
When cornered or challenged he sounds as if to be making stuff up. He’ll then hang up on the person and give himself the last word which often times lasts several minutes; sounding like he’s clearing up a crime scene of misinformation. Again, creepy!
Most ironic is that the host Neil Saavedra in person looks more like Satan than Jesus with a bald head, goatee and earrings. Good lord what a mess!
Interestingly though, the most dated host is late/​early hours George Noory of Coast to Coast. I think he’s a good hearted man who is just way out of touch. He often times references things that no one has ever heard of. Again, Ironically the main topic of focus is aliens and government cover-​ups! Also spirits and channeling.
The guests are sometimes way out there. Poor George is always struggling to keep up.
He asks the dumbest questions of his guests. I keep waiting for his guests to say something like «are you even listening to me?»
George does have a great ability to hang up on the callers that sound like they might be a challenge or become long-​winded.
George is not always the host, and there are others that do a slightly better job.
I do wonder why they don’t hire people that are current, that appeal to a wider audience.
People that can mix it up and give opposition. I believe ratings would rise and they would get better advertisers. They could be cool instead of being old and buster.
George and the other hosts are primarily republican, so that may be a factor. Ho Hum.
