I have gone to this salon twice now to get a spur of the moment haircut. Each time I have gotten Rosa, and she has been absolutely fabulous. I tell her what I would like, and she delivers! What also surprised me was the price. I went out the first time expecting to have to pay up to 60 $, and I was surprised with only $ 40 for a shampoo, cut, and blowdry! I love it. Thank you for being awesome Rosa!

Roy has been doing my Yuko Hair Straightening since 2002! He is a master; takes his time and is very meticulous. I highly recommend him.

Pushpa is very very sweet, however. She waxed my eyebrows which costs more than the threading and I am not happy with them. She highly suggests threading and said she has 48yrs of threading experience, I guess I should have listened to her cause my eyebrows look like there were not even done, they had wax still in them after, and she had me holding my lids during waxing which no one has ever done before and I’m 33yrs old, its not like I have old wrinkly lids… lol. Anyway if you go to her don’t get waxed… period. Oh and she doesn’t take credit cards either!

These 5 stars are for Pushpa Ashani’s amazing eyebrow threading! She has a lifetime of experience and really knows her way around a spool of thread. It’s a technique that only a few are really, really good at. I have gone to her for years now, and will continue to do so — wherever Pushpa’s salon chair goes, I will follow!!!
Every time I leave the salon, I feel confident and beautiful — as good eyebrows are a girl’s (or guy’s) most important beauty feature! They set the stage for a pretty smile. I do not like going to anyone else to thread my eyebrows — if I am in a bind, and I get a quick pluck from a different stylist at one of those «in quick, and out quicker» salons, I usually regret doing so and end up having to go back to Pushpa to fix them for me (along with having to apologize to her for ruining her great work! Lol). She also does other esthetic services such as facials, hair-​hennas, henna tattoos and the list goes on, which I’m sure she does with the same individualistic care and quality that she provides for eyebrow threading. Might I also add, she is one of the nicest, most genuine people I have ever met on this planet!
Case in point: If you want great eyebrows done by someone who treats you like a person instead of a number (quality not quantity) then Pushpa Ashani is definitely someone you have to meet. You too can leave feeling fabulous, flashing a pretty smile to go with a set of amazing brows. ;)
She is usually at Lee’s salon where she is currently renting a salon station, but it is better to give her a little notice in advance to make sure she is there for you when you want to come in. If you email her to book an appointment I’m sure she would be happy to work her availability around your needs!

*nails by Courtney” They wouldn’t even take my groupon because she was «solid booked» for three weeks and it would expire by then. Even tho when I walked in she was literally doing nothing.

I also got the Groupon for Nails By Courtney and was thoroughly disappointed. Courtney was nice, but a very simple set of acrylic tips should not have been that hard. I asked for natural looking and got whitish, clunky looking, and lumpy with rough edges. The worst part is that I got my nails done at 1pm yesterday and ALL of them came off by 9 am today. I get acrylic nails all the time and this has never happened to me. My two thumb nails came off first and eventually every single one fell completely off my finger, tip and acrylic all in one piece. Never again, I won’t even bother to ask her to do them over since she did such a bad job.

First of all I want to say I’ve been in the beauty industry for over 20 years and I’m very particular about two things: hygiene and people being on their game for the services they provide.
Before I purchased the Groupon, I looked up Courtney on her FB page.
I checked out Courtney’s work on Facebook and saw she was very artistic. I then bought the Groupon for a gel manicure. I called Courtney for an appointment and she was booked SOLID for over 1 month in advance-​that speaks volumes!
She always returned my phone calls when I left a message for her (she doesn’t answer the phone when she’s working which is great for her clients), and confirmed my appointment 24 hours before.
Courtney was VERY attentive, great with the sanitation (hooray!), and gave me a detailed and great looking manicure and pedicure.
She uses CND gel polishes with over 30 shades to choose from and had hundreds of colors to for regular polishes (I used regular polish for my pedi) including OPI, ESSIE, –in other words, name brands.
When I first came in and asked her if the 90 minute parking would be enough for my mani and pedi, she suggested I park in one of the (free) parking structures nearby that had 3 hour parking–
In other words, she was spending time on my mani and pedi.
I told her that I work with my hands and she recommended me keeping my nails short.
I am VERY happy with my mani and pedi and made another appointment with Courtney to get my nails done. Her prices are reasonable, she uses good products, and gives a really good manicure and pedicure. Also love that there is plenty of parking.

My review is not for the salon, it is for Nails By Courtney. I got a groupon for $ 17 for a gel manicure. Typically groupon has great deals and I end up becoming a loyal customer to many of the places I get a deal for afterward, however, this is a case of «you get what you pay for.»
My nails were barely painted. There were so many missing spots on my nails. She rushed through on the painting and one of my nails has already chipped. I’ve gotten gel many times and this is the first time it has chipped.
Anyways, point blank, this was the worst nail service I’ve ever gotten. Would never recommend this place to anyone. You can get a much better service at ANY other nail place. Save your money!

I have to agree with Rachel regarding Nails by Courtney. Courtney didnt seem like a people person and the nail polish she used was some off brand. needless to say she did a not so great job. So much so that my «gel manicure» is now gone. It peeled off on Sat. the first on being my thumb… it actually smeared and she said she could file it down if I wnated too. but she said it in a such a bad tone… i just wanted to leave. She did 3 coats and it just looked so fake… I was in a hurry that day so I really couldnt look at it until I got home and relaxed. Im so disappointed! I have asked Groupon for a partial refund at least… I am cancelling my second appointment.- I am not spending more time there than I need too… Groupon businesses always do their best to get your business… needless to day, I will not be going back.

I have been getting my eyebrows threaded by Pushpa for over 5 years. I don’t touch them myself and I trust no one else! She is just fantastic. My eyebrows always look amazing after Pushpa has worked her magic! She also does facials!

I wish 0 was an option. Please note, this is about the nail tech not the hairstylists. I got a Groupon for 2 Gel Manis by Courtney. So I get there and I ask about gel extensions and she is telling me how great acrylics are while surrounded by forms and models of really, tacky trashy nail art. I say no I’m not interested and will just keep my nails short. She goes on about how great acrylics are for a while and I’m trying really hard not to scream T R A S H Y. So she does my nails and she keeps painting way outside the nail line. I can do better myself. She does two coats constantly brushing the sides to remove all the excess she keeps getting on my nails. I can see my nails through the color and with all the brushing off of the excess there is nail showing on the sides and the polish is almost see through at the top. I ask her for a 3^rd coat, she starts hemming and hawing about it being a sheer color. It was a sparkly orange red. She does a 3^rd coat, they still don’t look right but at this point I am just thinking she only knows how to do ugly tacky trashy acrylics and I should go. I make my appointment for the second mani — only because I paid for it but believe me I will not be showing up. So I get home, half of my index finger polish peels off within an hour. It gets worse, by the end of the day I have 4 naked nails, two half polished nails, two chipped nails and two really badly polished nails for a total of 10 really ugly nails. I’m calling Groupon on Monday. I’m not an expert on gel nails but I’m pretty sure she forgot the primer. I’m not sure she owns it. Her collection of regular polish is all off brand or Sally Hansen and I didn’t recognize the gel polish color bottle, I am wondering if it was also Sally Hansen. JUST STAY AWAY!
I really wish I could post photos here. I have them all ready in case Groupon needs to see them. No one should be compensated for such shoddy work.
PS: I have never had problems with a Groupon deal before. On the contrary, people who offer Groupon deals usually work really hard to earn your business at full price.

I almost don’t want to write a stellar review because I don’t want everyone taking my stylist away! ;) Reanna at Lee’s gives the most amazing haircuts. If you have an idea of what you want, she’ll make it a reality, if you don’t know what you want, she’ll tell you what will look good on you– she’ll also tell you what won’t.
I’ve had to scale down on hair care, due to $$$, but one thing I will spend the money on every time is a cut by Reanna. Her work is amazing. Her schedule is very accomodating and she’s the nicest person to boot! It started with one person in my office going to see her for a haircut, and now I think she works with 5 – 6 people from my office. I can’t recommend her enough! She’s the best!

Been going to Roy forever now and he is fantastic with cut and color. He also does great straightening treatments. I can’t fathom what my hair would look like without him. Easiest way to get him is by cell 818– 437‑3413

Go to Eddie Marino who works here! He’s been cutting my hair since ive been a sophmore in high school. And still does today. Always friendly and fun to talk to. Knows exactly what he’s doing and how to cut hair.

Roy does a great job of cutting my hair. He has been cutting my hair for about 8 years and I am a happy repeat customer. Highly recommend Roy!

Lee’s is a down-​to-​earth and friendly place that dispenses with formality in favor of function and performance. None of the stylists put on airs, even though their work surpasses anything I’ve ever had done at more chi chi salons. Saundy, my stylist for many years now, is the «real deal» — she stands behind her work (and in front of and beside it). I haven’t taken advantage of her full range of talents, but her cutting and coloring (she’s a wizardess with color!) is wondrous to behold. The only downside is that my hair definitely outclasses me. Icing on the cake is that she’s professional and sweet-​natured. If I have to say something negative, it would be that the smock selection doesn’t overwhelm, but I’m slowly coming to terms with that.
