This place is amazing. My dog is a three legged rescue that was abandoned and has major separation anxiety. They let me stay the whole time my dog was groomed and it was a joy. It is peaceful, quiet and a calming environment. I watched each person there give our little Javier hugs and tender reassurance through the whole process. I highly recommend pet haven to anyone looking for a stress-​free grooming environment for their animals.

I brought my dog in here a couple days ago just to get her nails cut. I have clippers at home and have been using them myself, but I got to a point where my untrained eye couldn’t tell if her quicks were retreating or not and I didn’t want to risk it and hurt her. She’s a very anxious dog as a result of being neglected and abused by previous owners for the first 8 years of her life (she’s 12 now), and that in combination with her old lady hips sets her up for a pretty unpleasant experience every time she gets her nails cut, so the other reason I wanted to get them professionally done was so that she wouldn’t associate me with those negative feelings. Needless to say, it was rather disappointing when the girl who did the cutting had me come back with her to hold her still. My boyfriend actually had to lift her off the ground (she was struggling to stand with 3 legs on the slippery tile) and she weighs 50 pounds, so that was not easy to do for that long. She also kept running away out of fear, and I couldn’t understand why we were in this position when there was a grooming table open right next to us. We were just sitting on the floor right behind the metal gate. The girl was also holding her leg at a weird angle and there were a few yips when she pulled too hard, which resulted in my dog freaking out and trying to get away. The girl muttered something about my dog pushing her and in my head I was like, «no shit, you just hurt her and didn’t even stop to let her get her bearings.» She didn’t make her bleed, though, so I guess maybe she thought it was just a fear yip? Not sure… But at any rate, I did appreciate the decent price ($ 10) and the fact that they got us in without an appointment, but I don’t know if I’ll be back after this. Maybe for a bath if I can’t get her in anywhere else, but not for nails again. If you don’t want to have to hold your dog while their nails are being cut, make sure to ask in advance if they will need you to. It may just be a big dog thing and a result of them only having two people on staff that day (the other girl was grooming another dog), but check to be sure.

Annie and her team really care about each dog and they are very sensitive to doggy anxiety. My dog shakes anytime I walk in any pet store, grooming place, or vet, yet she is much more willing to go to Pet Haven. When I pick her up, she is calm and happy. They feed the dogs all-​natural treats with fur parent permission. The kennels are all on the floor and very spacious, and they look like little dog houses as opposed to cages. We always have a good experience!

Our dog required his nails to be trimmed for the first time. Not knowing who to trust, we went to Unilocal!The search showed Pet Haven to be highly rated. Perfect service at a perfect price! Will be coming back here again!

Super-​sweet staff. They always do such a great job with my little dogs, too. They’re so gentle with the animals. I also like the teeth-​cleaner who comes once a month – she’s worth making a reservation for.

You can tell from the moment you schedule your appt to the time you pick up your pet, the level of excellence this place has! Everyone is so friendly and listens to your requests/​needs. They definitely know what they are doing and my pet always looks like a supermodel after grooming!

We were in search of a place that was less frantic because our dog can get anxious. Pet Haven lives up to their motto of being a compassionate spa. Our dog has only been there for his pawdicures and hygiene. They are sweet and gentle with him and get the job done very well.

Good selection of high-​quality foods and a great grooming section. Extremely caring owner and staff. Had a small issue and the owner of the store personally called me to explain the miscommunication and apologize.
These people truly care about their customers and providing the best possible experience for both pet and owner.
I will definitely be a repeat customer and highly recommend Pet Haven.

Uneven cut ! They even shaved one of under her hand so much that they took her skin too she was in pain and licking that part the whole day. Not happy !

I am VERY picky when it comes to groomers. I always look for a place that really cares about the dogs they groom and gives them lots of love and attention, and also a place that really knows how to cut each breed specifically. This is exactly what this place does! I’m so impressed! Especially since this was my first time here.

We brought our pups here for the first time in December. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, it was easy to set an appointment, and they had times that suited our schedules.
When we dropped our dogs off, one of the things I noted was that the place seemed a little unclean. The retail area had thick layers of accumulated fur and dust, and really everything for sale felt a little dirty. Still, we went ahead with the appointment. It’s a busy season leading up to the holidays, and we were the first appointment in the morning, so we cut them some slack.
When we returned both of our dogs looked great, were super happy, not stressed out, and we were pleased. A few hours later however they both started showing signs of eye issues. We waited a day and things got worse. A trip to our vet confirmed infection.
We can’t say 100% for certain that the grooming was the source of the infection, but using the upkeep of the shop as an indicator it felt likely.
I contacted the shop to let them know and the staff person was very friendly and showed genuine concern. I received a call a short time later from the owner who was empathetic, and listened to our concerns. That made a real difference. She followed up with a hand-​written note that addressed the situation, and an update on clean up.
While I am not certain we will use them again, the efforts they made to look into the situation and resolve it were greatly appreciated.

This review is for dog bath & dry, nail trim and teeth cleaning.
I bring my puppy her for nail trim all the time and everyone has been super nice and friendly, so I’ve decided to go try out their dog bath/​dry. My puppy smells good and looks super fluffy after, and even after a week or more she still smells really good. They do nail filing if requested, and teeth cleaning (not with anesthesia) is really good too, she usually has bad breath. Fresh breath stayed for 5 days only (cause she lick almost everything). Only complaint I have is her the fur below the ears are matted after the bath. I check those right away cause I have same complaints with other groomers and I brush her almost everyday to make sure she is tangle free. But overall I’m happy with the services. Will come back again.

Great experience! First time bringing my pup to get groomed and I was a little nervous at first leaving him, but they washed, gave him a cut, trimmed his nails & cleaned his teeth ALL under 2 hours. Most importantly, my pup was happy and looked super cute! Will definitely come again!

Our dog, Olive, is not very cooperative with grooming. She even tried to nip at the girl right when she met her. Despite that, they did an excellent job on her care and grooming. Definitely highly recommended!

They were able to make an appointment for me last minute and did a wonderful package. Hair cut, bath, nail trim, and clean ears for $ 55. You can see the love for animals at this place and for my anxious dog they were very caring and patient. Would definitely come back!

This place is great! The workers here are very down to earth and friendly.
It was my first time bringing my doggy here. He was a little anxious and nervous because of his previous grooming experience but Sophia, the groomer, was very nice and played with him and gave him treats before they even got started. She really got my dog to feel comfortable and at ease.
It took about 3 hours for grooming + bath which is pretty good compared to the old groomers which took 6 hours. Sophia told me Bambi, my dog, was kissing her while she was grooming him. I thought that was sooooo adorable! I’m glad my dog and Sophia have built a bond and trust between them. I couldn’t be happier with the way he looked and happy to say I found a new dog groomers! They also let me pick out a bandana for him — lots of options and designs to choose from, I picked something festive for Fourth of July.

After my puppy had a traumatic experience at another groomers I immediately began looking for a new place and found Pet Haven. I could not be more thrilled. When I called to get an idea of the price I explained what had happened to her and the woman I spoke to invited me and my dog to come by to just see the place and so they could give my dog lots of love and treats, and give my dog a positive association with the place.
When I brought her in for grooming they took the time to work with my scared puppy and make sure she was comfortable the whole time. She came out looking great with a cute bandana.
This place is worth every penny you pay and cannot recommend them strongly enough.

Absolutely love this place!!! I was searching for a friendly grooming place for my puppy’s first grooming… since I’ve heard/​read so many horror stories from other grooming places, I had to do extensive research to find a place that wouldn’t traumatize my puppy!
I found this place on Unilocal and I couldn’t be happier! Staff was so friendly and it really showed that they truly care about the dogs!
They welcomed my puppy with so much love and petted him for a while before starting his grooming, just to ease him in, so he doesn’t get too stressed out. He came out of there more excited, playful and energetic than ever! And let’s not forget, looking like a stud! :)
