I came across Radical Auto a month into my vehicle search. I operate a limousine & black car service (
), so the vehicle specifics (year, make/​model, interior/​exterior color, cleanliness, etc.) were quite rigorous. I was looking for a Mercedes GL550 Black on Black. By this time, I had test driven & dealt with over a dozen independent & franchise dealerships. I was blown away by the staff here at Radical Auto. Not once did I feel the «car salesmen pressure.» You know the jargon, «You won’t find cleaner car or better deal anywhere… if you don’t act on it today it’ll be gone tomorrow.» At Radical Auto, their approach was the car will sell itself.
At the end of the day I ended up going with another vehicle at another dealer — specifically becuase the other vehicle had less miles & a detailed service history report. However, I want to state that Jenny & Kenia (and the rest of the staff) were a pleasure to work with. If business goes as planned, I will be in the market for another Mercedes vehicle in a few months. Next time, instead of hunting from dealer to dealer, I will just call Radical Auto and let them find the vehicle for me.
ps — A friend of mine, who used to work in the used car business, was my advisor throughout the vehicle search. I later found out that he had purchased 2 vehicles from Radical. In his words, «They are radical!»

I have bought two cars from these amazing people– Jenny was my gal from the beginning and Kenia always had her back. These gals are great when you need a car. Jenny is amazing! This is my first time buying a car, but the millionth time at a dealership and she was nothing but helpful! I’m sure I was a hard time, but she did everything it took to make it work for me and was very on top of everything. You can obviously tell she knows what she’s doing and that she’s got an awesome team that works with her.

The customer service from Kenia and Jenny was fantastic, I found exactly what I needed and they helped me get the price that was best for me. When I drove it off the lot I realized that there were some mechanical problems with the car that need to be repaired l, so I ended up taking it back and leaving it for a about 7 days to get everything fixed. They took it to the dealership to get everything that needed to be checked and fixed, I went to pick it up and they had everything that need to be taking care of fixed and ready, they had the car washed and detail, And I drove off the lot a happy man. Over all they get 4 stars because every thing was phenomenal, besides of having to wait to get things repaired and not a full tank of gas. But it was a fantastic experience and I will recommend this dealership to everyone.

I just purchased my Range Rover from Radical Auto. I cannot stress enough how great the service was. Every aspect of the experience was pleasant and stress free. Initially, I found my car on line and spoke with Jenny who handled my questions with patience and professionalism. I made an appointment to view and test drive the vehicle and was referred to Kenia, the General Manager as Jenny was not in the office. My husband and I bought a beautiful Lexus SUV from Radical Auto last month and we were so amazed by their integrity, their willingness to work within our financial limitations and to take full responsibility for a leak that our mechanic found during the inspection, that I told Kenia and Jenny that I had to rave about them on-​line. I am always careful when dealing with used car salesmen, and the Kenia really surprised us with her honesty, her care and her willingness to go the extra mile. I really wasn’t in the market to buy a car, but as is my usual practice I was perusing
and came across this beautiful used Jaguar XK with unbelievable low miles at a great price. Since I am a Jag lover (I have owned three in the past), I had to check this one out more closely. I went down to Radical Auto and about two hours later I drove off the lot in my forth Jag turning heads all the way. I have owned a lot of cars but this was probably the best car buying experience I have ever had. I told Naima what I needed my monthly payments to be and she and Robert work very hard to make it happen. I had a problem with the remote control (remote controls for these cars can cost as much as $ 400) Robert made some calls and not only fixed my old remote but got me a new one as well all for a lot less than I would have to pay at a dealer, and best of all they split the cost with me. I know every ones experience is different, but based on my experience, I would recommend Radical Auto to anyone interested in buying a car.

I love this place, bought my 2003 Jetta wagon 4 years ago and it has been great. Now it was time for me to get another car cause I gave my Jetta to my in laws and again George was great got me into my prius blk on blk and I got the best deal $ 1000 cheaper than other places and even than a few I saw on Craigslist. If Radical Auto has the car you are looking for, I have no hesitation recommending you buy it from them. I bought my Mercedes ML350 from them a year ago, so I have had plenty of time to be sure about this review. I know Radical Auto looks like just another corner used car lot, but look closely… they have some NICE cars there. I looked around and there were a couple dealerships that had the car I wanted, but for a couple thousand dollars more.
I had a good experience as far as buying a car goes. I checked the Carfax and the car was pretty clean. There were no trips to a dealership to fix problems, so I knew the car wasn’t a lemon. I had my mechanic check it and he thought it needed an oil change and there was a minor trim issue around the steering wheel. Radical Auto changed the oil (and my husband checked it) and they had the trim fixed at a dealership for me under warranty BEFORE I purchased the car. Just do your due diligence (as you should with any purchase anywhere) and you will be fine.
It only took a half hour to finalize the deal after the work was done and I was happily on the road. Don’t pay too much at a dealership if you know the right car is on the lot at Radical.

I recently bought a car from Radical Auto. I found the car on one of the auto sites, and it had just been listed the day I found it. I went in the next morning to look at it, and test drive it. I was met by a saleswoman named Rosie. She showed me the car, and went through all the numbers, and I decided to purchase it. The whole transaction was very smooth. They called a couple banks, found a bank with a decent rate and soon after I was on the road with my car. Being in business myself I know «how it works». Sometimes no matter how hard you try you just can’t please people. For this reason I took the negative reviews listed here with a grain of salt, and am VERY glad I did.
During the negotiations they agreed to repair a couple interior pieces on the vehicle as part of the deal. A few days later after finding out the parts were very expensive, in fact hundreds of dollars more than they had expected I went back in expecting to have to fight to get it honored. To my surprise while they were clearly not happy with the findings they didn’t try to BS me or anything, they pulled out their checkbook and cut me a check for hundreds of dollars.
Wherever you go to buy a car you are going to find friendly people. They want to sell you something, they want your money, and that’s just the way the world works. What really counts is how they treat you after they have your money, when it comes time to make good on all the promises they made. This is why I am taking the time to write this review. When I find someone or some business that honors that, and treats me well I like to let people know.
Remember when I said I found the car the day they listed it? Well they listed it on a Sunday, while they were closed, and I was there at opening time on Monday. They literally ran the car down to smog while I was there. They wanted me to pick it up later but I needed it for work, and asked them to hurry. Because of this we all missed the fact that the brakes were getting low. Almost a week later while I was having a modification installed on the car we realized the brakes were worn down. Keep in mind, this is a used car, and by California law they don’t have to do anything after I take the car, unless promised, or I purchase a warranty. Once again I figured I was going to go in there and meet resistance, especially after the last time, when they paid the money despite being a lot more than expected. Well once again to my surprise they took care of the brakes themselves, without a question.
The lot is owned by two brothers and their father. I am always happy to deal with family operated businesses, as these big companies now a days are always quick to tell you what they can’t do, and rush you out the door or off the phone. The first night I had the car I was about to go out to a client and got into the car to find one of the headlights were out. I drove back to the lot, less than an hour before closing time and told them what was happening and that I needed to be somewhere. George (one of the brothers) called his mechanic, who was driving home at the time and told him the situation. He turned around, came over and determined it was the bulb. The parts store down the street had a bulb, which was $ 97 (It was an HID with an ignitor built in.) George paid for it out of his pocket and I was back on the road in 20 minutes. That, right there, is what I am talking about. That is why I have spent the time to write this lengthy review.
I hope to enjoy my new car for years to come!

I purchased a used 2006 Audi A6 from Radical at what I felt was a solid price for a used car. The staff was friendly but when it came to the car itself, that was another issue.
The moment I drove off the lot, it gave me problems. It had an oil leak and would hesitate upon acceleration. I called them within the first 24 hours to inform them and said they couldn’t service it until the following week. In addition, the back seat belts were not working and the back panel was faded due to the sunlight constantly hitting it. They assured me they would fix all the issues. I turned the car in and they kept it for over a week. They found the oil leak and a motor mount issue which they charged me $ 250 after wanting $ 400 for something they should of fixed before selling. The seat belt issue was temporarily fixed but upon my eight year old sitting back there, stopped working and unsafe. They said they would paint the back panel but there guy was never there.
Obviously, this was unacceptable to anyone, especially for the safety of my kids with those seat belts. I met with the ownership which are two brothers and their dad and own two dealerships in the Burbank area. The guy was cool and said they would fix it but never did. He asked me to take it to an independent dealer and not an Audi, his reasoning was that an Audi dealer would try to find things wrong with it. I took it to DTLA Audi on Fig and Washington and they found over $ 3k in repairs ranging from required motor mounts, an oil leak and a few other issues at cost me $ 180 for the service. I had a small independent repair shop on Venice and Motor and they found the same problem and repairs were $ 1800, cheaper but still up there.
Armed with both repair estimates, I attempted to met with the owner and got the run around and was always busy. Being that I bought the car within two weeks of this, I stopped by and dropped off information to their manager. She assured me that she would contact the owner but these guys never called back and the staff started giving me the run around. After trying again and again, I looked at a legal remedy but due to work and travel schedule, I decided to get another vehicle from somewhere else. The overall experience here was awful and not worth the headaches.
This place may advertise the lower price, they treat you nice but when the rubber hits the road, leave you out in the cold. I understand there’s a certain expectation when purchasing a used car. I’ve been in business long enough to know that. But when you buy a car, drive off the lot and have issues from the start, there’s an obvious expectation as a consumer that the business will correct. This is not the case with this dealership and recommend you look and buy elsewhere or have that car your looking to buy inspected by a professional mechanic.
You may think your saving a few bucks but will ultimately cost you in the long run. I gave them plenty of chances to fix but they decided to take my hard earned money and give me a metal piece of junk. If I could give negative stars I would.

I’m still getting tickets for a car i traded in well over a year ago and they haven’t done anything to resolve the issue! Never again will i buy a car here nor recommend anyone from doing so! You want a smile on your face while they screw you over? They fit the stereotype of sleazy used car dealership. All they care about is their next commission check. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs.

I saw her and I knew she was the one. It was love at first sight. I saw her on the internet one day and I just had to make it out there to see her.
It was a mission, but I drove from Anaheim to Burbank to check out my would-​be E92 335i. Rosie helped me out throughout the entire process; I made an appointment and made sure the car was there. The first time I tried to haggle with a dealer, the vibe was sort of stand-​offish. This time, the environment was less tense and more comfortable. Thankfully we were able to work out a deal and I drove off in my new car :)
However, there were a few things that were off. First, the rear tow hook cover was missing. On the day of the sale, Rosie stated that the part was coming in tomorrow morning and would be overnighted to me. After a few phone calls, a message and an email, I received the part. Upon receiving the cover, the paint seemed to be a little soft and malleable which tells me that it was probably freshly painted not too long ago. At the end of the day, I’m glad I didn’t have to purchase the cover which would have costed around $ 75 for a little thing of plastic, but at least the expectation could have been set to where it would have taken some time.
Second, if you plan on purchasing their Safe-​Drive extended warranty, I would be VERYYYY cautious and do some research before hand. A month after owning the car, I took it to the Crevier BMW dealership in Santa Ana to get it checked out. It turns out there is a oil leak coming from the engine block. In addition to that, the warranty company refused to cover the vacuum lines even though it’s stated in the brochure and the bushings. My service advisor said that Safe-​Drive was a very difficult company to deal with and were «ruthless.» I know this isn’t exactly Radical Auto’s fault, but they’re offering this company who won’t do much good for you.
At the end of it all though, the car’s history pulled up clean. The car itself on the day I bought it was clean and freshly detailed. The customer service was good and the rest of the dealership was very communicative. I would recommend giving them a try if you find a car you want from here. Raaaad.
