Rent 2 Save

At first I thought I came to a car junk-​yard, turns out I came to Rent 2 Save.
Bad customer service, long wait times even if you’re the only customer there.
Cars are definitely not safe, the car I rented was super shaky while I was driving it, it even stalled on me a few times in the middle of the road. I think it was a 1998 or something. I paid almost 200 $ a week for that?
Worst car rental experience I’ve had.

Sketchiest place ever. We got picked up by a man in an unlabeled car very unfriendly. Drive a bit get to the lot where it basically looks like a used car junk yard and the car has dents scratches smells of smoke. The man had attitude and was incredibly rude. Sketchy as hell!

OK so I went to get a 7 passenger car for a long trip with friends «a local here», suppose to be a full size premium car «Honda Accord» or equal, what they had at the smelly place was a bunch of rundown Toyota cars about 6 – 7 years old, and for real– Mine had a different color door!, the bumper was smashed in and paint all cracked off, low tires dirty inside and out the windows cracked dirty, Wow! It looked like a old repo car that’s been through hell, I told the guy Seriously that! He said oh yeah it needs a paint job but runs great, I told him no way, he said its OK I will rent to someone else if not you, We left, what they prey on is out of towners that are already vested in getting there from the airport and no other reservations and stuck, and yes locals 200 miles per day cap, your crazy if you use them.

I am one of those unlucky ones who read these posts after fraud happened. I rented a car from this company in ¹¹⁄₂₀₁₁ and brought the car back in same condition. While I was talking to the guy to finish my paper work, someone was working on the car outside. Next thing I know, there is a big deep scratch on the rear bumper. I was surprised as to how can it happen when I just inspected the car 30 mins ago before driving it here. I went around looking at other cars standing in his lot and each and every one of them had scratches and dents on the rear bumper.
The older shady guy said you it will take more than $ 500 to get it fixed being fully aware that usual deductible on 90% of auto policies is $ 500.
I think the real business of this company is to rent a car on cheaper price and damage the bumper when the car comes back and charge hundreds of dollars from customer. After claiming thousands of dollars on each bumper, replace the bumper and start the cycle again.
After talking to him for few mins I said let me call my insurance company and start the claim process because I don’t have a proof that you did it. Even after starting the insurance claim, the guys charged my credit card $ 400 for non usage of the vehicle… I was like come on this is going way out of hand. I am calling my credit card company to stop that payment and start my legal action against this company.
Due to its Fraud activities, this company is know by several names like EZ Rent A Car or Rent 2 Save or Flash Car Rental and is located on 7975 San Fernando Road in Burbank CA.
LESSONS LEARNED: Not to rent from any small car company thinking you are getting a good deal because you will pay 10 times more of what you are saving.

This was a terrible rental car experience. I’ve never been led to such an unprofessional establishment by Orbitz, very suprising! My car had 231,000 miles on it and was stalling on the interstate. The shuttle to and from the airport was an ordeal. I think any other choice would be better.

OK– this place actually changed its name to Easy Rent-​A-​Car and relocated its address, without notifying anyone.
I booked a 7-​passenger vehicle for my dad, who was taking a trip up north. It took him over 2+ hours to find this place because we had to go through the hoops finding this place (they changed their names and address).
When we finally found this place, the place did not open until 9:00am even though it said it was open at 8:30am. STRIKE 1 & 2.
Went to the counter, the representative said that they didn’t have the car we reserved and that we would need to drive down to Hollywood at another location to go pick it up. WTF, are you kidding me at this point it was about 9:37am.
Finally, after trying not to lose it, they agreed to have someone drop of the car in Burbank. When we are checking out the guy name Dwayne said that there is a 200 miles a day cap for local residents or I had to show proof of airlines tickets for unlimited mileage, even though my contract said it was «UNLIMITED».
STRIKE OUT and some more! I lost it and left the beat up 2^nd hand cars that probably were wrecked and abused from the big car rentals places.
I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Don’t care how cheap it is, cuz they probably will charge you hidden fees.

Now I am always hesitant about using any business that uses numbers instead of letters but I was on a one day trip and the price was right. However the whole experience was a bit strange. First of all, I was picked up from the airport in the car (which was kind of old and run down) that I was renting by this guy. We drove on the freeway for awhile until we arrived at this little run down building where the cars were. From there, I was told that I could drop my car off at the Burbank Marriott near the airport for an additional fee of $ 20 or drive back to the office where the guy would then drive me. However, the office closes at 6:00PM and nowhere on the website or papers does it specify a $ 20 fee so I was unaware of this beforehand. I just wasn’t impressed with the quality of the car, the hidden fee, or how far the actual office was from the airport. On the upside the price was cheap (especially for an under 25 driver), the man was polite, and there was a cute cat in the office. But be weary still!
