Royal Gor Studio

He maybe a good photographer but I would not recommend you use him for scanning photos. Mine were completely washed out to the point where large portions of the images were completely white. The originals were brightly coloured.

Love his work! Very professional and the pictures come out great! Take it from someone who looks bad in every picture!!!

I hired Gor for photography and video for our wedding. Gor and his dad Khorn are absolute pleasure to work with. They were easy going, flexible, and very pleasant to work with. It’s has been only a week since the wedding and i have not received photos yet. However Khorn took some with his smartphone and texted to me the next day and even with Iphone photo you can see a vision of a true artist.
Before the wedding we had engagement photoshoot and I could not be happier. I would definitely recommend them. They are worth every penny.
I would recommend an informational session with Gor prior to hiring him. He spent an hour with me at his studio going over different Video and Photo options. When I left his studio I contacted 7 more photographers. A month later I was back to Gor because he is simply the best!

The headshot I got was the most beautiful photo ever taken of me! Gor was masterful with the lighting and I received my proofs very quickly after the photo session. The studio atmosphere was very serene and relaxing and Gor was very professional, accommodating and kind. He even helped me carry my wardrobe in and out, I wish there was a way for me to post my photo here so you could see how phenomenal his work is! Thank you Gor.

My husband and I are very pleased with royal gor photography! They did our wedding last summer. Very professional photography and video crew. Top of the line equipment, very Pleasant crew. I must say Gor and Khoren have quite an eye for amazing beautiful moments that they are able to capture with their cameras that truly show the lovely moment in a photo. Any questions or concerns I had throughout the whole process has been answered at ease. Christina has also been great to deal with our questions as well! They all really make sure you are a satisfied client from the moment your wedding day starts till the moment you actually receive all the final products of your special events memories.

Picking up my gorgeous wedding albums, and they are absolutely stunning! Loving these mini albums that Gor got for us too – so special! We had Gor do our pre-​wedding shoot last year, and the shots came out so amazing. He has a real vision and is an artistic genius. Our wedding day photos came out great too, but Gor wasn’t our photographer and I noticed a difference in the work. I highly recommend booking IN ADVANCE and making sure you secure Gor as your photographer if you want absolutely stunning photos. One of the owners, Gor G responded to this review (see below if it’s still live or if he hasn’t edited it) by suggesting I mistakenly reviewed the wrong company, and that I likely meant to review another business called «iPreservedit» which is in the same Burbank building as his.
I looked up this «wrong business». It does indeed share with him a building in Burbank, «Suite 100 A» vs Royal Gor’s «Suite 100». If you look at the Groupon offers (still online) they both list a second office, in La Crescenta-​Montrose, in the identical suite 277. Coincidence? The Groupon page for the offer I purchased listed his company: «Royal Gor Studio». I was also able to find more recent Groupon pages for this other business iPreservedIt with nearly identical offers – from the same photos to the same language. AND, and here’s the kicker, the same royal-​gor-​photography URL, just with a –3 or –4 added to it:

I understand his motivation for coming on here to publicly pretend that this negative review is an innocent mistake about the «wrong business», but it’s shady.
When I walked my photos in his door, the place was called Royal Gor Studios, not iPreserved It. And the owner I met, whom I mention in my review below, is this very same owner – Gor – who commented below. He’s the guy who hid a fee until I drove out to Burbank and arrived in his desk, and he’s the guy who claimed that the fee was listed publicly when it clearly wasn’t. So… the review stays.

I purchased a $ 75 Groupon for Royal Gor to archive 500 photos at 300 dpi. I drove out to their location in Burbank to drop off the photos. The owner told me then that he would charge a fee because the photos were currently organized into photo albums, rather than delivered to him in a box or bag. If this is the policy, then disclose it. NOT when someone arrives, but when a customer is evaluating whether to pay for your service.
There should be clear printing SOMEWHERE, ANYWHERE that he will charge you 10¢ per image. At 500 photos then, the real cost adds $ 50.
$ 125 not $ 75.
One of the owners, who was at the desk, said that there was small print somewhere on Groupon to this effect. This isn’t true. It wasn’t true when I purchased, when I drove out to deliver the photos, nor is it true now. Before writing this review I searched again. This fee is not mentioned on Royal Gor Photography’s website, nor on Groupon’s deal.
To be clear, these were not photos stapled or taped into albums. Nor hard to get out. Many were under thin archival plastic, while others were within those little corner holders.
I am glad to pay someone to do manual labor like this: removing photos, keeping them in order, and replacing them may be time-​consuming work compared to not having to worry about their order. I would have been happy to pay what amounted to a $ 50 fee if Royal Gor hadn’t hidden this fee. But they did. And their owner is being disingenuous to claim it’s written somewhere when clearly I could show him on my phone, that it was nowhere on his Groupon offer, nor on the Groupon page listing the original offer. I expect companies to be up-​front and public about a service charge.

We have been to quite a few consultations but nothing like this one! When we walked in we were personally greeted by Gor himself and were told to filled out a short contact form in the waiting area and then asked into his studio. Once in his studio the detailed consultation began. Without us even asking any questions he answered every question we had and would have probably had later. He went into detail with every tiny aspect of his process, showed us many sample photos, videos, photo books and anything else you can imagine but most importantly gave options for everything to fit our personal budget. By the end of it we felt like we had taken a course rather than a consultation and learned sooo much. First impressions are everything and this was nothing short of perfect!

Beyond amazing customer service! Very friendly! And Ofcourse they did an amazing job at my event! Could not have asked for a better photographer!

I had a really bad experience with a previous wedding photographer & video crew from my cousins wedding. (Won’t mention any names) & to be honest, I was expecting the same from this company because from that day on I just assumed all wedding photographers are rude & expect you to act like you’ve been trained to know exactly what you have to do without them telling you. Of course, I was wrong. REALLY WRONG! Royal Gor & his professional staff were so friendly & easy to work with! I realized how the camera crew can make such a huge difference in your bridal parties mood. Their friendliness & easy going personalty made it so much easier to pose & feel good about doing it! they knew exactly what pictures & video shots they needed to take but @ the same time, they wouldn’t get upset or give you attitude if you asked them for a particular shot. They were very understanding & didn’t expect us to get things done right the first time. I mean, I can go on & on about what a great experience I had working with this team but you get my drift. As for the pictures, I’ve seen a few from their Instagram & FB account since the wedding was only a couple of days ago. but the ones on IG & FB look FABULOUS!!! I can only imagine what they will look like when they’re ready! Thank you Royal Gor & your amazing team for making my brothers wedding day an even better experience for me & my family!

A wedding dream-​team! Two teams of photographers and videographers spent an entire day with our bridal party going to five different locations. Professional attitude with amazing results. Here is how/​why we chose Royal Gor and we are very happy with our decision.
First Impression: Having to deal with a dozen or more vendors for an Armenian wedding, you come to realize Armenians don’t have any customer service, to us Armenians thats normal, but when we walked into Royal Gor studio we were acknowledged right away. Clean studio represents clean work. Met with the team and their work by far was better than any other vendor we had seen. Our second visit, we knew Royal Gor would be perfect.
Professionalism: On the wedding day the entire team wore matching Royal Gor outfits, simple black on black clean cut, nothing distracting. Gor, the team lead, wore a suit and tie. Thank you for wearing a suit and tie to my wedding. I’ve been to a wedding that the DJ has a big display infront of him with his DJ name, the photo/​video team members are wearing big logo T-​shirts and the singer after a few songs gives plugs to the vendors, looks like reality tv show.
Quality: I am not saying this because it’s my wedding, but I can put my brothers wedding photos (other vendor) next to my best friends wedding photos (another vendor) next to mine and you can honestly tell the difference. Quick turnaround and it came in a nice package. Presentation is key!
Price: We didn’t do the traditional 24-​hour wedding which most Armenians do. We explained our wedding itinerary to Gor; the places we wanted to go, things we wanted to capture and our budget. We were pleased with the price and the flexible payment plans. We honestly saw 8 other photo/​video vendors before going with Royal Gor, don’t sacrifice the only memory you will have from your wedding day.
Overall: The hardest vendor to pick for our wedding because it was the single most important part, more than the flowers and more than the dj. The best vendor I dealt with. After the wedding most of my family members were saying how nice the photo/​video team were.

I have had the honor of working with Royal Gor for many years now. Royal Gor has been to our salon several times to shoot our brides and their wedding parties getting ready for the big day. We love the crew and their skills. Their photography captures every detail of our work, which is what we love most. Not only is their photography phenomenal but also their videography. I love their editing. Every photo and video shoot is different and unique in its’ own way (very hard to find such creativity). They are truly a company that cares about quality, not quantity.
The moment my brother proposed, we immediately went to Royal Gor to book them for the wedding. Unfortunately, they were already booked. We went ahead and changed the wedding day to make sure Royal Gor Studios will be capturing all the precious moments of the very special day. If that does not describe how amazing their work is, I don’t know what else will. I highly recommend this company for all your photography and videography needs.

I got Royal Gor’s deal on Groupon last year and not only did I get a STEAL of a deal that included an edited 8×10 and a CD of all unedited of my images for one low price but Gor made me feel super comfortable! It was my very first time at a professional photoshoot and it felt like I was hanging out with a long-​time friend!
He had one of his makeup artists do my makeup (for an additional low cost) and she did a magnificent job! I’m usually not too happy with how people do my makeup but I was pleasantly surprised that I loved the way I looked — on AND off camera!
By the way, my profile picture is one of many that Gor took of me (unedited too), capturing a sexy side of me. He’s definitely gotten me addicted to getting my photos taken!
In summary, if you’re looking for someone who knows what they are doing, someone who you can trust to deliver professional pictures and who will make you feel comfortable… Gor is the guy for you! :)

I love love the feel of the studio and Royal Gor’s work! Royal Gor has done photos for two of my friends engagements and weddings and I must say the photos were phenomenal! He has a great eye, is professional and super easy going. something rare you find in this industry
Gor and his team make you feel right at home and extremely comfortable, which I think many photographers lack. During an all day wedding there never was a dull moment with him and his crew. They attended to very detail, gave great direction and made the shoot very enjoyable.

I hired Royal Gor to do my wedding photography and video and words can not express how happy i am that i chose them! To start off their crew is the best! They really know how to lighten the mood on the big day and make everyone laugh, being a bride i was extremely nervous, until they showed up. Gor and his dad (video man) are genuinely nice people, they do not have an ego (like most people in this industry). They are honest and they deliver what they promise. We shopped around for others, but nobody made us feel as comfortable as they did. Their work is impeccable, I got my wedding pictures shortly after the wedding and i kind of wish they did a bad job so it would be easier for me to chose the good ones… ALL MY PICTURES ARE GREAT! They promised our video to be completed in april and i have no doubt that it wont be =)

My fiancé and i booked Gor for our wedding coming up in May. Two weeks ago, Gor did our pre wedding photo shoot, and we were very happy with the results. He has a great eye, knows how to direct you, and makes you feel comfortable.

Just got back home from my photo shoot with the family, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. We purchased a good deal online for a one hour photo shoot and when you get to the location, it’s actually at a warehouse-​type place. But don’t be worried, it’s really cozy and comfy inside, and great for a private photo shoot session. Gor took really great shots of our little girls and of our family during the 1 hour — if you have young kids, it’s a good idea because you know they can’t stay patient for too long.
Definitely beats the crowd at JCPenney, and photos are professional, crystal clear, and just priceless.
