History

Established in 2006.

After completing a 12-month dog trainer study program which consisted of behavior training, mentoring with a certified trainer and working with shelter dogs, Cyndy founded Sit… Stay…Good Dawg! Her goal is to help pet parents with dog behavior issues or those that don’t know how to be a good dogs.

Group classes are best for those dogs that need to learn good manners. Those are the dogs that pull on the leash, won’t come when called or jump up on guests.

For dogs that have «issues», in-home training will net the best results. Training progresses as the dog learns, in their own time, based on their own needs.

Day Training is an exciting way to train for those who are too busy. The dog stays at home, Cyndy trains the dog (pet parents don’t have to be present) and follows up by teaching the pet parent what the dog has learned.

All training is done using reward-based training methods. The guiding mantra at Sit… Stay…Good Dawg! is, «Do what is best for the dog.»

Business Owner

A passionate dog lover all my life, I grew up with Beagles. Dalmatians have been my breed of choice as an adult.

My female Dalmatian, Olivia was trained in obedience and we went on to earn her AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate. Kramer, my male Dalmatian, was a dog show champion and as his handler, he won several AKC Best of Breed awards. I’ve trained Kramer for personal appearances, film & photo shoots.

I’m an Animal Behavior College Certified Dog Trainer and certified by the Council for Certification of Professional Dog Trainers by earning their CPDT-KA designation.
