Excellent!!! Great Beef Brisket, corn bread spot on, would highly recommend this place, all the food we had was great. Great service and the prices were all in line. A+, thank you.

Very good. I’m a Memphis guy and have had some really, really bad ‘que in the north but much to my pleasant surprise this was quite good. The owner came out and asked me how I liked it and seemed very pleased with my positive comments. Very nice people and way above average ‘que for New York State.

I am new to writing Unilocal reviews, but I am a huge BBQ fan. Saw bad reviews on another site and good ones on here so I decided to try this place. I was literally so displeased with this place that I signed up for Unilocal because I realize promoting good food and warning of bad food are equally important. Went here with my girlfriend last weekend. Now we went late, like 9 pm. So from a consistency standpoint who knows how the food would be mid-afternoon. However, I can honestly say that everything we had was sub-par to straight bad. Entrees: I had ribs and she had pulled pork. The ribs were mush and fell off the bone(btw properly cooked ribs should pull away from the bone cleanly with your teeth, not fall off the bone. This is a common misconception). There was no smoke ring and honestly no real flavor in the ribs themselves. The only flavor came from the pile of sauce they put on top. This wouldn’t have been so bad, but the sauce was bad too! i equate it to having a can of spaghettios upended on the ribs. The same bad sauce was used on the pulled pork which again had no discernible smoke or other flavors outside of the sauce. Sides weren’t any better. Potato salad was bland as was the cole slaw. Honestly I’m a huge proponent of small businesses and I hate to put a place down this hard, but this place should be ashamed to call itself a BBQ joint. You could get better BBQ at Applebees. On the plus side it was relatively inexpensive and the staff was very friendly.

Hidden gem. Doesn’t look like much on the outside but the BBQ is quality and great value. Just had a pulled pork sandwich and baked beans after a day at Watkins glen racetrack. Would drive from Ithaca out here for BBQ. Need to try the ribs next time.

I love this place. I try to get out there every two weeks or so, even though it’s quite the trek. The pulled pork is fantastic — much better than Dinosaur BBQ. The portions are huge, and it’s a great value — less than $ 10 for more food than I can finish. You get a huge entrees of meat, two sides(I highly recommend the mashed sweet potatoes and buttered corn) and cornbread. Service is extremely fast. The place is usually pretty quiet, which is probably unfortunate for business, but nice for dining. I can’t for the life of my figure out why this place isn’t packed every night. It’s fantastic.
