Excellent food and very quick service. Highly recommend. Pizzas and salads are particularly excellent.

Amazing service. Ended up getting 10 dollars off an order for adding a few drinks. They tell you how to save and get deals. Going the extra mile. Quality of food was much better than expected. This is my new pizza joint. I only wish it was open later for delivery

Good sandwiches and other food, decent delivery, and open late. However the pizza is not so great.

First off I feel sorry for anybody who thinks their pizza is tasty.
12÷4÷2015 ordered an XL Veggie for pick-​up. Drove there in under 10 minutes and it was already done. Dried crud on the walls on the customer side of the counter, floors were filthy. Just a quick glance or 2 at some of the delivery vehicles… they looked gross from what I could see.
The pizza, no, pizzaesque product was lousy. The crust was like white Wonder Bread, no crunch, no flavor, no rigidity… just like a wet wash cloth. Sauce was almost like catsup without vinegar. No idea what cheese they use, but it isn’t 100% mozzarella. The pizza-​thingy doesn’t bake in a hot brick oven, rather a conveyor belt that runs through gas jets.
Can’t vouch for anything else here, but the pictures they had of other menu items looked bad. They had a cheese steak special, but the roll looked like a oversized Wonder Bread hot dog roll, unmelted cheese and lettuce and tomato. You kidding? Lettuce and tomato don’t go on cheese steaks – go to Philadelphia and ask for that and they’ll toss you out into the street.
Frozen Target brand pizza baked at home is infinitely better and half the price.
So glad we didn’t have guests over and oredered from here, I’d be embarrassed. But if you hate food and don’t like tasting flavors… this might be for you.

I ordered delivery for pizza and wings. I got the Chicken veggie pizza and bbq wings. The pizza is alright. The toppings were somewhat fresh and the crust isn’t bad either. The wings on the other hand were just disgusting. They smelled like fish and were dry and the skin was crumbled and just not a pleasant sight. I called and asked for new wings and the man was very nice and sent me new ones but they were the same so I guess their wings just suck. Wouldn’t recommend getting their wings but if it’s the only place delivering near you then pizza would be a good option. But there are better pizza places.

I loved this place until they started practicing poor business decisions. Tell you they wont take credit cards over the phone, but take them online… say they dont do take out so you get charged delivery fee and tip… and make a wrong order and when you call to politely inform then, the manager will tell you that youre wrong and wont even attempt to solve the problem… they lost a loyal customer very fast. Great food, just pray theres nothing wrong and it actually gets there in a timely manner…

So last night about 1130 pm my friend and I were in the mood for good pizza so we decided to call big bite. My call was answered by someone who spoke no english and could not get the order right. Needless to say my pizza was wrong and did not come with the order of tziki sauce which was requested. The order took nearly 45 minutes to get to my house and was only luke warm. When i placed my order i left my phone number for him to call due to sleeping dogs… nope he rings the doorbell amd wakes up the whole house. I call back in the morning to complain about the pizza and the service. The manager/​owner precedes to tell me its my fault and refuses to make an effort to better our experience. Oh, lets not forget the little smashed critter on the inside wall of my pizza box. My suggestion go to dominoes or something. F $!# this place.

LIARS! I called in to place an order and he said «no pickup, only delivery. So I asked him why and he said because the grill is closed. How in hell are you supposed to grill my food for delivery if the grill is closed!!! He had no answer to that. Basically he was trying to make me choose delivery to charge me a delivery fee and tip money. So I called the annandale branch and asked them if this is franchise protocol. He said that it was complete bull crap and was more than wIilling to take my order.

This is my favorite, go-​to place for delivery in a pinch when I am starving to death and don’t feel like cooking. I’ve had a variety of different dishes… their steak and cheese subs are excellent, the pasta with meatballs are yum, lasagna is huge and very cheesy and delicious, their wings are crispy (I get the sauce on the side with homemade blue cheese dressing), their chicken tenders are average but are made better by their very tasty honey mustard. I’m embarrassed to say I probably order delivery from Big Bite at least once a week!

The food tastes good but the service is so bad. I have gotten repeated wrong orders. They won’t fix it, refund your money but they will yell at you that you didn’t order correctly. Even the owner& manager… What’s wrong with these people?

Their pizza is great. Flavorful sauce, good hearty chunks of sausage and delicious pepperoni. The crust actually tastes good… not like the bland cardboard crap you get from Pizza Hut, Dominos, and Papa John’s. The pizza is at least a solid 4 stars. However, their service *really* sucks… and I actually ate at the store. Gruff, impersonal, and inflexible. I saw them refuse to swap out a cup of ranch dressing for a marinara (which probably would’ve been a better deal for them). Seemed to be in a hurry to take the money, but less of a rush to get the food to you. They also overcharged me by about $ 0.10 (reversed a couple numbers when typing it in) which isn’t a big enough deal to cancel it out, but slightly annoying. I would’ve said something to the manager, but he seemed to be the least customer-​oriented one. Didn’t seem to be too kind to his employees either.

Their pizza has gotten so much better. It’s one of our favorites now. The cheese’s flavor is fantastic (creamy and almost buttery), and their sauce is addicting. I usually do not eat the crust unless I have something to dip it in. Their crust is delicious. Thin NY style but with a great cornmeal crust.
We’ve gotten their quesadillas and they’re also awesome. If you get extra meat, make sure that you have a couple people ready to eat it. One quesadilla with extra meat could make a meal for two! We got the steak. It was so good.
Also, their Big Bite nachos are tasty as well. Although I do wish they could keep the cold things (cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, etc) separate from the meat and beans. That way, it would be easy to re-​heat if the meal got cold or if you needed to save any leftovers in the fridge for the next day.
Big Bite definitely has us back as dedicated customers! Not sure why it was iffy, but then again, it’s been two years.

I will admit, the BB delivered food is usually very good (ex: cheesesteak sub) but customer service is horrible. When you call in your order, expect a gruff, tired and irritated tone from a man with a scary foreign accent. So one night a few weeks ago I had no cash on me and hate to use my credit card with deliveries as it is cumbersome to fill out and sign the receipt at the door while balancing the food exchange with the driver. They say they take checks. After placing my order, I asked to make sure (not many places take them anymore) and was assured they do, and to make sure I have my name, address, driver’s license #, etc. on it. Now I JUST moved back here. A few years ago, I was a HUGE BB fan and was looking forward to resuming our food delivery relationship. So my check had my previous address on it. No problem, right? All I need to do is cross out my old info and write on the check my current info, which I did in clearly legible print. Door bell rings, food arrives, check given to driver, door closes, I do a Happy Dance, story over, right? Door bell rings again. Driver is on the phone with Mr. Scary, questioning the validity of my check since my info was hand written. The driver, also, was gruff and unfriendly. Incredulous, I tell him to look closely to see all of my info printed clearly. Nope, not good enough. After making me feel like a felon on the lam at some seedy hotel, I grabbed the bag and RETURNED THE FOOD, retained my check, while uttering to him an expletive. I guess they do enough business to not care about customer service. Well, for what it is worth, they lost this customer.

This place has a wide variety of food and some of the best wings for delivery in town. I highly recommend this place over some of the bigger chain pizza shops.

Place is good. I was surprised he said check or cash. He said its for security reasons. I was like no so not true. So I decided to pick my food up instead of using a check. A bit sketchy but food is good.

My family LOVES wings — we seriously order them about once a week. Our go-​to place in Burke used to be Glory Days, but once we tried Big Bite’s wings, we haven’t gone back. The key is to order them plain and well done (extra crispy) with the sauce on the side. I once picked up an order of wings to take to a potluck and even after sitting in styrofoam containers for over an hour, the wings were still crispy. It is a true bummer they do not serve celery with their delicious blue cheese dressing.
Having lived in NYC/​NJ for over 8 years, my husband and I were happy to discover Big Bite offers really good cheese pizza. The weird thing is — only their cheese pizza impressed us, pizza with toppings didn’t come close. The subs and appetizers we have tried are all pretty average.

Really, this tiny hole in the wall in Burke has really gone down hill FAST! They offer online ordering and give you a pick up time BUT when you arrive for pickup, they have no record of your order! That’s our recent experience with this dive pizza joint! We order online because when we place a phone order, there are new employees who can’t seem to get any order correct, and they ask us to repeat the order several times! So, if the phone doesn’t work and online ordering is always a cluster, then what’s a hungry gal supposed to do?
Our recent order was no where to be found but when we presented our «order number», hmmm they found our order… something about the printer having issues???
I’m not sure this is the best to do business but they won’t be getting my future business. Also, just checked their recent health inspections… yikes!

We ordered from here for the first time yesterday, and were pretty surprised when the man taking our order asked «will that be check or cash?» «Really?» I was thrown off by the question, and quickly asked my husband if we had cash on hand. The guy on the phone seemed aggravated (hey maybe the lines were busy?) and he demanded again «CHECK OR CASH MAM?!»
I was tempted to cancel my order at that point, but they had pretty good reviews here, so we sucked it up, and payed cash. I noticed people recommend the pizza and wings quite a bit so we ordered both. My wings were just ok, but as another reviewer mentioned the blue cheese sauce was delicious! The wings don’t come with celery, which was kind of a bummer, but oh well.
My husband and 4 yr old said the pizza was just ok, and they complained that our usual Vocelli pizza or pizzano pizzas are much better [double bonus Vocelli and pizzano both take CC]).
While the idea of a place that offers so many different foods is really appealing, I think we’ll probably just pass here in the future.

For pizza, a big step up from the big chains in the area. The meats and cheeses are very good, the crust is OK. I’ve gotten a lot of other things from here too, most just OK (chicken parmesan sub, burrito), the pizza is my favorite thing from here. Delivery is very quick, and you can order online. Definitely recommended as your goto place for pizza, subs, etc. in Burke.

I was skeptical the first time ordering from this place, but now I am a regular. They have everything and I have sampled everything from their pizza, subs, wraps, and mexican food. They are careful to make sure you do not get soggy food, which I love. Have ordered cheese fries and they put the cheese on the side and nachos, they put the toppings on the side.
This place is an excellent choice when you have a bunch of people that can’t agree on one thing. You can even find a few things that are decently healthy.
The only thing I am not a fan of is their wings which are super greasy, but I have a few friends that love them.
