Taco Tuesday is fantastic. Love the pork! 4 stars for in-​restaurant ordering.
I’m giving 2 stars for the app orders though… please have someone do quality control on these takeout orders because several times, things have been missing or wrong. Missing guacamole or sour cream, once it was no pork on salad.
Great that it is offered, but very frustrating when you get home and it’s not what we ordered:/ and we don’t live close enough to take it back right say. Managers, please take note. It’s happened on 4 different occasions.

Great fresh Mexican food. Much better than la tortea. Love the pork and salads. Yummy lemonade.

Pork barbacoa salad is everything! Their tacos, burritos and quesadillas are also very good.

We love Taco Tuesday. We go every week and it never gets old. The line gets long but the quality of the food makes it worth it. We struggle finding good restaurants in Burke. Rio is the only one we love.

Do yourself a favor and order the pork barbacoa salad. It’s the best. I don’t order anything else. I’m sure the rest of the food is good but I’ve found one of my all-​time favorite dishes and I refuse to order anything else.
Their queso is one of the best I’ve ever tried as well.
Customer service isn’t always the greatest but I give them the benefit of the doubt. Just check your order over prior to leaving, be polite, and order the pork barbacoa salad. Your welcome.

Everything was SO SALTY. Service was very rude. The trashcan was covered with a tray and i didn’t know where to throw my food and i stood there for five minutes waiting for an employee then i got annoyed so i moved the tray and was about to throw my food in the trash. The employee came and grabbed my tray before it went into the trashcan and said it doesn’t go in there very rudely. HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW TRASH DOESNT GO IN THE TRASHCAN. And the teenage employee that worked on my order was very rude when i asked her to repeat what she said a few times. She even gave me a glare. All the employees seem to be teenagers with an atitude.

The food is really good, if you dine at the restaurant. I’ve ordered carry out four times in the past year and they are batting 0.00 in sending the correct order home with me. There’s always a meal missing, or they’ve enclosed the wrong order, or they don’t put any toppings on the food. Eat in. Avoid take out.

For value, it’s hard to beat $ 2 Tacos on Tuesdays. Two tacos are plenty and they are very good. This is really a fast food place, and in that category it’s excellent. They also have interesting drinks like Southwestern LimeAid that are a good change from the standard soda machine.

Im more of a chipotle person but overall this place is great, the nachos are probably their weakest item, probably because the steak on mine was dry, but all in all wonderful place

I live near this place. It is an extremely convenient place for me to eat at.
I ate here five times over a one year period. Each time I went back to eat here I hoped that things would be better than the last time. However, things were consistently bad each time.
I did not like the food. It was always wet, soggy and dripping when it should have been dry. All of their meats come with a lot liquid added and many of their other items also come with a lot of liquid. For example, their lettuce drips with water. All of that liquid made everything I ate here wet, soggy, and dripping.
In addition, the employees were not nice. They were very rude and very pushy. The tall heavy set manager was the worst in this regard.
I finally learned my lesson and will never eat here again. I should have quit after my second bad experience here.

The food is amazing… when it’s there. The biggest issue I have are the workers. They either do not care or are so lazy at their job. We would go get the same items and one person would put the black beans in my wife’s chicken quesadillas and in another visit they would say its extra and put it on the side. The cashier doesn’t care and once was on the phone with someone (not a customer from what i could hear) and made me wait to pay for me food. The 2 stars is being generous because again the food is great when available. Seriously how can you be out of chips and queso when you are a Mexican Restaurant??? Fix your customer service because chipotle destroys you in this category.

Great concept, but this place has some real management problems. Three visits in a row they did not have the menu item that I order. One time they did not have plastic utensils. We have not gone back.

I love Café Rio! It’s different than Chipotle, has more of Mexican restaurant feel and taste.
I’m a sucker for their pulled chicken, corn tortilla tacos (which both flour & corn tortillas are made in house, in front of you). My mom loves the burrito and gets it enchilada style.
We normally get the chips and the TO-​DIE-​FOR cheese queso.
They used to sing if you ordered nachos, were a newbie or ordered other menu items. Sadly I haven’t heard them sing in a while.
As a taco fan I have yet to go on taco Tuesday and taco fish Friday.
Apparently their fish tacos are good. Never had them.

Just completed my first visit to this establishment. I was impressed with the food and the attitude of the servers. Everything was up beat and energetic. The servers were very helpful in explanations and suggestions. I will be back. This place could cause serious harm to business at Chipoltle!
