Great brisket, great sausage, ribs have good smoke flavor and good bark just a tad dry. Overall superb

Very good barbecue and great selection. Really love their wings! Big portions and friendly staff. Beer served extra cold in frozen glass. Decent margarita for 5.00.

I’ve ate here 5 times. They have hit and miss days. Mostly misses. Now don’t get me wrong, to the basic BBQ eater it would seem fantastic. But for those of us that know, cook or have experienced true pit BBQ. Know this is just ok BBQ. I know from experience BBQ is hard to prep on a large scale. But it’s just ok. Kudos for them supporting live acoustic music on the patio. I come for the music… drink a beer(limited choices) and usually eat something. So what can you do? Lol

This is the only place that make Bar-B-Q like my Dad’s. It’s some of the best! The meats are fantastically done and the banana pudding is to die for!

Out of all the other foods that I’ve tried there, burger and fries are my favorite! It was my first time trying the burger here yesterday and it was very tasty. They smoked their meat with BBQ sauce and it is just the right amount. I also love the fact that Chase(the server) remember who I was and address me by my name which that really impressed me since the last time I saw him must be months ago and I don’t get to come here often since I live in Houston. He will also remember what you want from the previous time! Great server!!! When I do go there, I always sit at the patio and it is always packed so get there early if you want to sit out on the patio! I gave it a 4 stars instead of 5 this time is because the buffalo wings that I ordered before the burger was way too salty in my opinion. Other than that, I would recommend this place!

Had a few good experience and only one not so good. I love brisket and I love them moist. The brisket here is very smokey and flavorful. The amount of fat is just right. Last time I was here, they gave me lean instead of moist. I think it’s the order taker. I’ve never has problems when I order up front. They have an all you can eat every Wednesday. That’s a good way to sample all their goodies. Will RTE.

BBQ is hard to rate because«good BBQ» is different for different people, but I LOVE Roscoe’s The food is fresh, well flavored and good quality. — no fatty grissly pieces on the brisket — just good clean meat. The sauce isn’t anything special, but it compliments the smoked favor well. The sides are nothing to get excited about. In fact, when I have the time — I prefer to order meat to-go and make my own sides at home. But it’s not a deal breaker. Forget comparing this to other chain BBQ joints, because I don’t feel like you can. I’d put the quality on par with even the better established DFWBBQ restaurants like Risky’s and Angelo’s(which are both good — but over-rated). And Railhead, which IS better, but at double the price and a 25 minute drive. For BBQ in Burleson /Joshua /Crowley — this is the place.

Pretty good chain tasting bbq. Messed up my order and really didn’t resolve it. Taste like Dickey’s.

Solid Four here! Friendly, helpful staff. Had the Moo-oink-en. Chicken breast was best believe it or not. Great smoke all the way through! Brisket and Sausage was a little dry. Green beans and potato salad were average. Texas Toast not toasted enough and lacking flavor. Banana Pudding was great. I would return!

Dear lord. My tastebuds did not know what was coming! The first night(yes, I’ve already been back a second time) I asked the owner what he recommended and he gave me a sample of the chicken, jalapeño sausage, and brisket. All were great, like seriously good. The chicken was the most tender I’ve ever tasted. I ended up ordering the brisket sandwich with sweet potato fries. Quite good. The second night I ordered the Moo-Oink-En for myself and a chicken plate for my colleague. When I brought that take out bag with me to the hospital where we were working that night, everyone who came in the room wanted to know where I got our food from because it smelled so good. I’ll probably go back a 3rd time(in one week!).

So good! The Spicy cheese sausage was great, nice pepper kick to it. I request a specific slice of brisket(little more fat than the average joe orders, better flavor IMO) and with no hesitation cut a sample and let me try it to make sure that was what I wanted. Great customer service. The brisket had a flavorful crust, then then meat just fell apart it was so tender. The Mac and cheese and green beans were recommended, and while they didn’t blow me away they were both good! Beans better than average. The sweet tea was also on point! Love me some sweet tea. I’m definitely coming back and bringing friends.

Not sure what the hype is about this place. The restaurant itself is nicely constructed, as well as having prompt and friendly staff. The barbeque however might be some of the most unflavored ever tasted. Even after being drowned in barbeque sauce. Very surprising given the other reviews, as well as being voted best barbeque in Burleson. Ordered the Moo-Ink-En platter, the brisket was the only«ok» item within the plate. Would not order again, gave two stars for the ambience.

Delicious food! Came based on Unilocal reviews & it was a great decision. We didn’t know what to get so we asked the first guy at the meat station. He cut us up a few pieces of chicken and it was easy to go with the chicken tacos with the jalapeño ranch. For sides we picked mac & cheese, green beans, potato salad & coleslaw. All delicious. Roscoe’s is a excellent choice!

This was average BBQ. I was hoping for a «sit down» and order type restaurant but this had a commissary line where you went through and made your choices. I decided to give it a try anyway although I don’t care much for ordering pre-pared food under heat lamps. I ordered the chopped brisket and sliced turkey. The brisket was superb but the turkey(usually my favorite smoked meat) was disappointing. It just was bland and looked like it came out of a freezer. I ordered their BBQ pinto beans and fries for my sides. I was provided all of my food except the fries because these have to be made fresh(thank goodness). The beans didn’t have much flavor and I would not re-order but once I got my fries(halfway through eating me meal) I was much happier because these were hot and very tasty. The portions were good size as well. The sauce was average but tolerable. All in all, I probably wouldn’t go back unless that was the only BBQ place open and I just had to have BBQ.

Roscoe’s catered lunch for our admin professionals day in downtown Fort Worth. Several people in our office said this was the best BBQ they have ever had! I could not have been more impressed with the catering. Definitely will be using Roscoe’s again for large parties and highly recommend to others! Prices are extremely reasonable and food can’t be beat. It doesn’t get any better!

Nasty and dirty. Came in at 9pm and though the place was far from capacity, many tables were unserviceable. Plus, this place is worn out– chairs and tables look worn and stained. Overall, the eating environment is not pleasant. The ketchup bottle is a pump action type and was covered in a thick layer of dried ketchup. Only the part that you actually pressed was clean. One customer got tired of waiting for his fried ochra and told them he was leaving. The response from server was that only one cook came in. Needless to say, my first and last visit.

Roscoes is a nice little place in Burleson if you want BBQ. You go through the line and sit down with your food. I am a girl that loves ribs and when I go to a BBQ restaurant and get chicken something is wrong! No nothing is wrong with the ribs. The ribs are pretty good. However, the smoked chicken is where it’s at with Roscoes. I’ve had the smoked chicken wings and they are good. They are not like your traditional wings. Smoked chicken with a side salad topped with Jalapeño Ranch sounds good right now.

Mediocre BBQ for premium BBQ price. My wife and I decided to give this place a shot. After paying $ 29 for small portions of meat, I expected the value would come in taste or all-you-can-eat sides like other restaurants in the genre. Not so. One small scoop, no more. Painfully dull flavor. It shouldn’t be difficult to make brisket taste good. I ended up leaving hungry. We were the only people in the dining area at 6:30 on a Tuesday. After a bit of observation, I found the root of the problems. The bar was packed. So it’s a bar with a restaurant attached, not the other way around. If you’re looking for a bar with slightly better than normal bar food, you’ve found it. If you’re looking for a decent BBQ restaurant, use that $ 30 to get more and better BBQ literally anywhere else.
