Academic Springboard

I have two children that have worked with Chris on SAT preparation over the last two years. They have different academic profiles so needed help in different areas.
My son worked with Chris for SAT preparation for about four months and ended up scoring 2290 and 2280 on the two SAT tests he took with a combined best of 2390. In addition he prepared with Chris for the Chemistry, Literature, and Math II subject matter tests. He achieved his goal of getting a perfect score on the Math II subject test. My daughter has worked with Chris over over the last four months and just took the SAT in December. She spent the first few months reviewing the material and test techniques and then took three practice tests over six weeks. Each test score improved approximately 100 points each time.
Chris communicated well with the kids in the weekly sessions and gave them assignments to complete for the next week. He graded their practice tests and reviewed the test results with them to ensure they understood the questions that they did not answer correctly. He is organized and communicated with me via email or phone as necessary. For each child, we worked out a plan and schedule that would best work for them and help them to achieve their goals and be prepared for the planned test dates. I feel that they were both well prepared for the tests and that Chris was able to work with them on their individual needs to ensure they were successful. Chris works out of an office building in Burlingame which has easy access from the freeway and is a good environment for one on one tutoring. I am very satisfied and have recommended Chris to friends with children preparing for SAT, ACT and subject tests.
