Jerry Lin, DDS

I looked forward to seeing Dr. Lin for the second phase of my root canal. This man is a wizard. Going in I was obviously worried, but right away I put to ease and completely trusted Dr. Lin. When he is doing the procedure it is his art, from the way he holds the tools to how he uses a slightly chilled piece of cotton to test sensitivity to hot and cold.
Dr. Lin just knows what he is doing. Even after the procedure, I took two ibproufin, but I really didn’t even need anything. Dr. Lin is an artist, you would be a fool to go anywhere else.

Seriously probably the most painless (both during and after) root canal I’ve had. I didn’t even need Advil. Not once. :) Highly recommend.

I just finished at Dr. Jerry Lin, D.M.D. where I just had a root canal done on my front left tooth. I am so impressed with him and his staff. I found the office to be efficent, timely and friendly. They did not take my particular insurance so I was required to pay at the end of my treatment but they kindly took care of billing my insurance company on my behalf. They looked into the whole insurance thing when I made the appiointment so there was no surprise at how the billing would be handled. They have great communication there will wonderful follow up.
did bill the insurance for me with payment going directly to me. The whole experience was exteremely «painless» considering how much I hate going to the dentist for any major work.
He and his assistant could not have been more nice or professional. I tend to ask a lot of questions and recieved a friendly explaination each time.

OK, one normally doesn’t associate a 5-​star Unilocal review with a root canal… but, I have to say, Dr. Lin and his team are all-​stars! Funny thing is, getting the root canal was wonderful compared to the discomfort I was feeling leading up to it. Mine took two visits. First one Dr. Lin and his team relieved the pressure and let it drain.
A few days later I came back to finish it up and close up the tooth. Then I was referred back to my dentist to put the crown on.
I have to say, Dr. Lin and his team did a great job. From followup calls to see how I was feeling, to keeping me informed on what he was going to do and taking care of insurance and my copay estimate.
He also uses digital xrays with a computer right next to me so I could see what he was up to. Not that I knew what it all meant, but it feels better knowing how he makes his decisions.
His chair-​side assistant (sorry, forgot her name) was wonderful too. Calm, relaxed, and in control.
His front-​desk assistant (again, I was nervous so I forgot all the names) was very professional and organized.
Oh, and tons of free parking. Total bonus if you ask me.
If you need a root canal this is the office to go to!

I saw Dr. Lin for a root canal almost two years ago. I do not know why I did not take the time to add him to Unilocal.Anyhow, I was referred to him by my dentist, Dr. Tsai for a complex root canal (see my review) that she could not handle. Lisa, his secretary and Julie and Terry, his assistants were all very nice as was Dr. Lin. He explained everything that he was going to do before he did it from tests to the temporary closure of the tooth after completion of the procedure. I could hardly feel a thing and he was definitely thorough, having me return twice in a week, taking several pictures to make sure that he got infected tissue, and leaving nothing to chance. So, for excellent orthodontic care, Dr. Lin cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys.
