Konstantin has been our «go to man» for any type of jewelry or gifts. He is a master of his trade with the most beautiful custom pieces, he works on watches, locates hard to find watches or parts. I have gone to him for years, looking for graduation gifts, pens, birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas presents. He always has something unique and in the price range I want to spend. Some really interesting vintage estate pieces too. His shop on Burlingame ave is a real jem and he always has time for you. Highly recommend a visit.

I brought my watch in to get a battery replaced. I think the man I talked to was the owner– very nice. He replaced it very quickly! I was coming close to closing time so I was worried they might close so I called ahead. He said he would have stayed open for me.
The jewelry looked very nice too. I was eyeing a wedding band with three diamond-​shaped diamonds. He said that he could put stones into my current simple wedding band.

Excellent service from my new friend Konstantin! Brought my wife’s Rolex to be serviced and not only did he deliver, he provided much needed guidance on the care of the watch. As with any expensive possessions, you’re always apprehensive with leaving the item with anyone. The process of leaving the item and post-​service retrieval was very re-​assuring with Kupfer. Also, no surprises IE. additional cost, unforeseen work, etc.
Only problem is, he damaged my mind… I now have a new found appreciation for high-​end watches. Many Thanks Konstantin!

My fiancé and I just picked up our rings today. Wow! I wish more businesses were run the way Konstantin runs his. He was patient, helpful and professional from the first time we walked in until today.
My fiancé had a ring handed down from her family. Konstantin suggested adding to the ring with another. He made some design suggestions and they turned out great. My more conventional ring looks and fits just like he said.

Konstantin is absolutely the «go to» guy when it comes to making custom jewelry. My best friend found him a few years back and he made my engagement ring and wedding band. It was exactly what I was looking for. It came out more then what I expected. He listens to every detail and more. My rings are excellent quality and beyond gorgeous. He has lots of knowledge with diamonds and gold and only makes the best of the best. I just had my fiancés wedding band made as well. Also, my mother just had her wedding rings re-​done with him and they turned out beautiful. My best friend just got her engagement ring which is a 3 carat diamond and wedding band made by him too. Us 3 have all different styles and he made each ring exactly what we all imagined. Unbelievable! You can go ahead and shop around but I highly recommend you stick with Konstantin, he is a stand up guy and very honest and trustworthy. I look forward to getting more jewelry made by him in the future ;)

Konstantin, what do I say about him. I don’t think there are words to describe the experience I had with him. I was there with my mom picking out my engagement ring. My mother who knew Konstantin prior to me walking in immediately recognized her and greeted us with the happiest smile ever. It was then where I made such a connection with him. Laughs, happy tears, tears of both joy and laughter were all I experienced with him. He accommodated every need and fulfilled every request made to see me happy. His service was unbelievable. He is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. Obviously he does this for a living, however it is more obvious he does this to see the joy on others’ face.
Now, let’s talk about pricing — I don’t think it’s possible to be given the price I did when I picked out my ring *shh* you didn’t hear this from me ;)

Friendly place. Friendly owner. Despite some negative r4eviews, I would have considered doing business with Kupfer. When it comes to jewelry, I think it’s important to shop around first, talk to the owner and see if you feel confidence in what they say to you.
As for Kupfer, I felt pretty much ok with some of his prices and then of course, not so ok with some other items. And that’s part of the business, any business. Anyone can have a bad experience with a company that has high recommendations. Which is why I think a smart shopper shops around first. Once you have a relationship then no more shopping around.

Beyond the Unilocal,had very important word of mouth recommendations from my now fiancés mother. Konstantin really cares about doing a nice job, and ensuring that she was so happy. She loved the ring so much! There was a wait for the ring since it was custom designed and made. I completely understand the importance of patience with custom craftsmanship, and it sure was worth the wait. Absolutely amazing. I’ll definitely be back for the wedding band! =)
