Dr. Lightner is a licensed chiropractor in the State of California. He’s been involved in healthcare for the past 35 years and has been practicing chiropractic for the past 11 years. He graduated with honors from Life Chiropractic College-​West in Hayward, California, considered by many to be one of the top chiropractic colleges in the world.

Dr. Lightner has been a resident of the Bay Area since 1980 and has lived in Millbrae since 1999. He prides himself on providing natural healthcare to all ages. His office places great importance on treating the whole person and looking beyond symptoms to find the causes behind dis-​ease and dysfunction. Dr. Lightner’s patients have reported improvements in everything from headaches to foot pain, arthritis pain to gastrointestinal issues, carpal tunnel to knee injuries, as well as shoulder and elbow problems.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Lightner for about 4 or 5 years, now. Initially, he was treating me for low back pain that had been bugging me since my thirties. Thanks to his expert care, that is pretty much a thing of the past. I still get an occasional twinge, but that usually get’s cleared up really fast. I’ve also seen him for shoulder, neck and elbow problems. Seems like no matter how I manage to mess myself up, he can fix me!

I recently was in an auto accident and even though I have been seeing Dr Lightner for preventative maintenance, this accident required additional time and attention. I saw my general practicioner after the accident who recommended that I seek chiropractic since I had had success in the past. Dr Lightner helped with the severe neck, shoulder and back pain that were causing migraines and everyday pain. I am now feeling back to my old self after some great adjustments, physical therapy and the time and attention to the injuries that were required for a great rehibilitation process. Thank you again for helping me get back to my best physical self!

I highly recommend Dr. Lightner if you’re having any neck or knee or in my case hip problems. I was in a lot of pain and could barely walk when I first started my sessions. Within the first few adjustments I was doing much better and now I’m completely restored and actually better than I’ve been in years. Not only does he do adjustments, Dr. L focuses on strength building and stretching; it’s like having a personal trainer! There’s also a wonderful massage therapist that I also highly recommend. Sunnita is a healer in her heart and hands.
The office is conveniently located, no problems parking. It’s a very peaceful place, clean and Dr. L is friendly and flexible about scheduling appointments, which is great if you work full time.

THIS GUY IS THE BEST THERE IS!
I suffered a back injury in my early 20s, and have relied on chiropractic for pain relief and mobility for decades ever since. When my chiropractor retired, a good friend suggested I try Dr. Lightner.
Dr. Lightner is easily the best chiropractor I have ever had. For one thing, he’s a big guy, and has no problem getting everything lined up the way it should be.
Besides his expertise as a Doctor of Chiropractic, he was a gymnast and a martial artist or many years, and has a deep personal understanding of the importance of muscle strengthening, flexibility, and the treatment of injuries, whether recent or suffered long ago.
Dr. Lightner also has extensive knowledge of sports related injuries and conditioning, physical therapy, stretching, nutrition, and massage therapy, and has several good massage people available upon request.
I highly recommend Dr. Lightner to anyone, who like me, wants to get out of pain, become stronger, and develop more mobility and vitality. I might add that I live in the central valley, and travel over two hours each way to reach his office. That’s how happy I am with Lightner Chiropractic!

I used to get severe migraine head aches and pain in my right side. Once I made an appointment with Dr. Lightner, he explained how chiropractic care can solve those problems. Not only did he educate me about how everything is connected in the human body, but also how he was going to correct, almost like preventive maintenance on your car. Today my headaches are gone and no more back or leg pain. It’s amazing not taking any medication and having relief. Thank you Dr. Lightner.
