I’ve been repairing and upgrading Macs for ourselves and friends since 1985, and for the general public since 2004.

Business Owner

Before opening Mac Rehab, I co-​owned a typesetting shop in the 1970s and 1980s, and a research laboratory in the 1990s. I’ve also been an Apple software developer and a full-​service bookkeeper.

Upgraded the hard drive on an iMac. Friendly, good work, and very good prices. I’m also looking into upgrading the hard drive and repairing the fan on an old MacBook Pro. He was a lot cheaper than Central Computer. Highly recommend.

David is an intelligent and resourceful guy. Upgraded my Mac mini adding a new SSD drive at a very reasonable cost. We scheduled a time, and he installed, and left with a much more robust system.
His prices are more than fair compared to the competitive places, and as you can see he has great reviews.
He earned them.

My iMac HDD died and apple wouldn’t let me keep my old drive. I contacted Mac. Rehab, bought a SSDD and David installed it. It was great, he explained what he was doing, we discussed the internal designs, made a custom bracket to accommodate the smaller drive and then he carefully cleaned everything and put it back together.
I highly recommend his work!

David was quick, fast, and not too expensive. He was very communicative and even stayed late so I could pick up my laptop. He fixed my cracked screen in 24 hours and everything on my computer is 100% fixed now, although the «delete» key is now slightly less sensitive. Not sure why, but otherwise amazing service!

I just took my iMac in to David to have him upgrade the hard drive for me. I was a little hesitant to take it there since I had called around other places and David quoted me about a quarter the price of anywhere else. I figured it was too good to be true. But it wasn’t. He did exactly what he said he’d do in the time he said he’d do it for the very low price that he originally quoted me.
Don’t be put put off if he comes across as too quiet or slow on the phone. He’s a very nice guy who obviously knows Macs. I will definitely be returning if/​when the need arises.

David is great. I happen not to be able to drop off my iMac at any of the times his office is open. David’s reaction was to offer to come in on a Saturday (the same day I was calling), which virtually no big company would’ve done. His price was fair, and he didn’t try to up sell me. David successfully swapped out a hard drive in my iMac in an hour — exactly in line with the expectation he set up front. He was friendly, and I would go back to him again happily

David is great! He runs Mac Rehab out of the the Magic Press building. I had a problem with my Powerbook G4 and he helped me troubleshoot it. He wasn’t pushy and didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. He was honest, friendly, and quick. He’s definitely my new mac repair guy!
