Review for Holly To’s nail service. To find her store, it’s to the right of the hairsalon place — passed the dry cleaners. Sort of weird they’re in separate locations, but yeah!
Holly is adorable. She’s super friendly and has a very approachable personality. I bought a Livingsocial deal $ 20 for $ 25 mani and I called in and scheduled an appointment the day before I anticipated for myself and two of my friends to come in. Luckily Holly wasn’t booked for 5PM-​close! The guy that answered my call said that the process takes about 30 – 45 minute max (accurate information), so we planned accordingly. But Holly told me next month they’re hiring 2 more people so we won’t have to wait.
There weren’t as many color options as I wished there would be… There are lots of pinks which made me adventurous and go with a light pick (#41). Holly’s process of doing a gel mani is pretty fast in my opinion… Maybe it was a little rushed because my two friends were with me so she couldn’t take her time with it. The UV light she uses is also VERY strong. I feel the UV lights kind of burn my skin… Totally not good…
Overall the experience here was okay. I wouldn’t come out of my way to come back and get them done again, unless there was another deal like this. She didn’t really clean the outlining (near my cuticles) very well, but I would say she shaped my nails quite nicely!!!
