Coldwell Banker was founded in 1906 when Colbert Coldwell, a young real estate Sales Associate, observed families trying to piece their lives together following the disastrous San Francisco earthquake.

Disapproving of Sales Associates who acquired property from vulnerable sellers and then resold it at huge profits, and seeing a need for honest, knowledgeable real estate professionals, he formed his own company.

The new company was based on a revolutionary philosophy: the client’s best interest above all. In 1914, Benjamin Arthur Banker, another real estate professional, joined Colbert Coldwell as a full partner. Together, Coldwell and Banker forged a tradition of integrity, exceptional service and customer satisfaction that became the company’s hallmark. The company was far ahead of its time in its focus on customer service.

Rachel has established herself as a Marketing Specialist with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. She was honored with the International President’s Circle award in 2014, named a Top 10 Agent in her office during the first quarter of 2015, and ranked 75 out of more than 900 Independent Sales Associates in the San Francisco Bay Area. A native of Taiwan, Rachel completed her first year of college in China and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Consumer Studies from the University of Utah. She has since engaged in graduate studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Rachel saved me a lot of money!!! She has so much experience in the Bay Area real estate market that she can tell for how much a house will sell.
In this area buying a house is like an auction: a buyer has to bid for the house against other bidders. Understanding this process is crucial in order to maximize the probability of winning the auction while minimize the probability of offering more money than what’s needed. Mastering at this could save you hundreds of thousands, and Rachel is a master at it.
I would use Rachel’s services again, and again, and again. She has a lot of demand, but I hope she will have time for me if I ever buy/​sell another house.

I definitely recommend Rachel. She hustles! Plus, she’s patient and responded to our questions and needs for arranging all of the things that came our way, like contractor, inspector, tree removal, etc. The transfer of the property required a lot of attention to detail due to different move out dates — one for the tenants upstairs and one for the daycare downstairs. She kept it all straight for us and made sure we were compensated by the previous owners for the days that overlapped into our taking ownership.
Rachel is also funny and very positive during what is inevitably a stressful experience. No drama — even in the Bay Area!
