I don’t know what you one star people are talking about, this place is awesome. The women are so friendly and accommodating. Parking is never a problem, and it’s very reasonably priced. They also have beautiful jewelry on sale at the front desk.

Wow! Pay attention to the low Unilocal reviews… sadly they’re accurate! I’m in shock, I called to ask the rate for a spray tan, and since pricing was average I proceeded to ask if she suggested an appointment and she said yes cause they get busy. I kindly asked what her availability was like for the same evening… Her response, «give me a time if I have to tell you the times we will be on the phone all day!» with a snarky undertone. Yuck, with so many new striving small businesses glad to offer their services, this is such a disappointing experience! Living walking distance to the Ave, (on Floribunda) I will definitely spread the word.
Location is not everything! And if they were «SO» busy and I needed an appointment — listing available times would not have taken all day. Laughable!
Get your glow elsewhere!

This review is long overdue. I came here in mid February. I knew the owner previously as a customer at my old job. She’s always pleasant to talk to and sweet. I had a great experience here. My tan looked great! No one even noticed that it was spray tan since it looked so natural. I will definitely be back.

I went here for the first time this past weekend and it was fabulous! Gina’s mom was working (who’s name has slipped my mind ha) and she was just awesome! She was so friendly and took the time to explain each of the beds in detail. I went with the matrix bed and WOW! I have a golden color after just one visit and I’m super happy with not having to go tanning more than once a week or two. Thank you guys :)

What a wonderful salon! This was my first visit, and the owner could not have been more welcoming! I decided on the spray tan, and she went out of her way to explain exactly how it’s done. I have received spray tans in the past, but none were like using the Versa Spa. After the spray, the machine completely dries you off. Plus, you’re tan immediately after! I will definitely be returning!

This tanning salon is everything. Every single time I have come in I have always walked out satisfied. The beds are awesome, the facilities are clean, and they sell some great clothes and accessories that just add to their fun atmosphere. In addition to the actual salon being just what I need after a long workday, I always look forward to chatting with whoever is working the reception desk. Lisa, Gina, and their mother really go above and beyond to make sure everyone leaves with tan just right for their skin as well as a smile. Despite the foot traffic (which, in my opinion, is a sign of a thriving and healthy business) at times, all the ladies go out of their way to make sure every last customer gets taken care of and feels appreciated. Bottom line: if you want a great tan that will meet your needs with direction from women who actually care about you beyond the tan, this is your place. What are you waiting for?

Absolutely awful service. The ladies are both wacko and condescending. I was incredibly disappointed with the color, and called to ask if u could come back for another session. The daughter is who I spoke to on the phone and, while apprehensive at first, said it was fine to come on back in for another session. Thought this was great. She was to pass on the message to her mom. I arrived at the salon and her mom was so incredibly rude — started off the conversation by trying to tell me her daughter tried to tell me to go darker and I said no. This was absolutely false. Then told me it’s probably me that has the issue with my color and asked me to stand up so she could look at me. Excuse me? Yes it’s obviously me who doesn’t like the color. Then told me not to «laugh» bc this is her job. I told her I felt like this was bad service and she again told me its my problem. I grabbed my wallet and left, while listening to her yell «we are the best!!» from inside.
Not worth it. Go to natural bronzing in millbrae.

Has anyone seen the movie pretty lady? Remember when Julia Roberts walked in the store and they gave her an ugly snare. That’s what happened to me and I wasn’t dressed like a working girl. I walked in the store because I saw some really cute dresses and jewelry in the window. I didn’t realize it was a tanning store because I was focused on the dresses. as I walked in the store, I was on the phone listening not talking. The lady at the counter asks me what am I doing. Me: just looking. Her: there are no cell phones allowed. Me: ok. I left and went to the bank. I said to myself I will go apologize to her for being on the cell phone because I could tell she didn’t like me being in her store, I assumed it was because of the phone but not the case at all. She didn’t want me in her store period because As I apologize this women had the nerve to tell me «I should have common sense“and continued to give me examples of what common sense was as if I was a 3^rd grader when all she had to do was accept my apology. That’s not something you tell a customer who you want in your store. That’s something you say to a customer when you don’t want them there. Who says that to a customer??? Someone who’s had their skinn pulled to tight. Not my fault. un lift it. Again I thought the tanning salon was a boutique it’s never my intention to be rude or go out of my way to be ugly and mistreat anyone. I’m an African American woman and She did a really good job of reminding me of who i am because frankly I forget sometimes! Lol. Excuse me people but I’m really p*ssed but I choose to have a sense of humor about an ugly experience.

Lady who runs the desk is a Gangsta! She’s super helpful and fun to talk to, they don’t do the stars thing which I love, always clean and classy.

Gina (the owner) is adorable, super friendly and knowledgeable. She has all of the state of the art tanning beds, but I use the spray booth tanning system there which gives a perfect color! I’ve tried them all, but this spray tan color is superior to anything else on the market. Great place, great product and delightful staff:)!

I recently got a spray tan and was very impressed with how long it lasted and the excellent customer service I received. Gina was so helpful in helping me find the correct tan for my fair skin. I highly recommend this salon!

I went into this tanning salon a few months ago to purchase a gift for my partner and instantly fell in love with the owner. Very welcoming not corporate family owned no pressure sales. And since being new to the area she was also able to give me recommendations for other services I was looking for.
Yesterday I went in for myself and purchased my own package. Again no high-​pressure sales; not trying to sell me on something I didn’t need. She asked what I was trying to do and accomplish and she sold me just that. Very friendly again and welcoming. Both times that I have been in there the desk has not been staffed by some snotty teenager but by a professional person who owns the business.
The bed that I went and was excellent and very high-​powered. Great place to go for a tan.

This place had every sign of being really great.
First time ever there. Got talked into a 3 session deal even before trying the service. Bit pushy on the up sell I’d say.
None the less.
Service with a smile. Brand new bed.
Laying down and excited about to begin the session and I get asked to get out of the booth because they forgot about someone’s appointment.
They at first refused to give me a full refund. Offering to comp that first session.
Was too miffed to see how someone couldn’t wait 8 minutes for me to finish.
I can’t get the time it took to come down here back but PLEASE, Unilocalers. Make absolute sure you will be allowed to have your session and not be so rudely bounced out of a bed before even agreeing to pay.
TLDR: THEY WILL BOOT YOUR ASS OUT OF THE BED FOR OTHER CLIENTS.

This tanning facility is so great. It’s very clean. It has state of the art equipment and many different tanning options. High, medium or low pressure tanning beds and booths. You can even get a honey based spray tan. Sounds kinda sticky, but ok.
I like all the clean white towels perfectly rolled. The attention to detail is impressive.

Tanning here is convenient, but two out of the three ladies up front like Gina are rude and curt. They address you as «sweetie» and «dear» but they are hardly sweet as they are short with answering questions and are obviously irritated. I like the convenience but not the low quality level customer service and interaction. Gina is offensive.

I’ve been coming here for a year for both spray tans and beds. Love the versa spray tan. Best booth spray tan. No streaks and natural looking. I’ve been to my fair share of spray tan joints (airbrushing experts as well as booth/​machine) and versa spray machines are too notch.
Gina, owner, and sister, Lisa, are incredibly delightful. I love coming here for the quality of tan and at the same time, the fun and lighthearted feeling that you get from Gina and Lisa.

This was my first spray tan and tanning salon experience. Gina, the ower, is super nice and friendly. I called her several times with questions and to reschedule and she was awesome to deal with. The versa spa spray tan was fast, easy and so far looks fabulous! I’ve never thought of myself as a tanner but I may be on the road to conversion! Gina also has some really pretty merchandise (jewelry, beach clothes) in the entry… perfect to pick up a small gift on your way out!
I’m sure you can find a versa spa booth at another salon but Gina is so great it’s worth going here.

Didn’t realize I was wasting money at another tanning place, until I came here. Gina, the owner, let me know that most of her tanning beds are actually sold back to her distributor and then they have sold her 8 – 10 year old machines to other tanning salons in the area. I wasn’t really buying the story until – I came out entirely two shades darker after only one ten minute session!
There are two packages to start with 5 for $ 50, or 3 for $ 89. These are the most competitive prices in the peninsula, for the quality of tanning that you get! Yes, I know tanning is not the best thing to do ALL the time for your skin and so on… but if you need to prep for a beach trip or need to add a little color to your skin (for a little extra sexiness)– go to Sunkissed! I am so glad I found this place and you will be too…
