Specialties
The Dailey Method is a one-hour, full body workout that combines core conditioning, stretching, orthopedic exercises, ballet barre work and more to sculpt, lean, lengthen and strengthen the entire body. Doing the class 3−4x a week will provide amazing results!
We offer classes for students of all levels. Our Principles class is our introduction to our Method, focusing on alignment and foundation. Our Mixed level class is for students of all levels; teachers will work with students during class to ensure a safe, effective and fun workout. Our Interval class is for more advanced clients who are looking to add a cardio-based component to their practice. We recommend that students taking this class have a strong foundation of knowledge of The Dailey Method.
We also offer childcare during specific class times, Monday through Saturday. Our class and childcare schedule is online.

History
Established in 2009.
Exploding onto the scene in 2000, ballet barre fitness has become one of the top workout practices in the world. Jill Dailey ignited the barre fitness boom when she opened The Dailey Method’s first studio in San Francisco. 57 Studios and 3 continents later, The Dailey Method is growing and innovating like never before.
When The Dailey Method first opened its doors in San Francisco’s Marina District, it changed the landscape of group fitness classes. The Dailey Method’s explosive combination of body toning exercises samples the best aspects of diverse disciplines such as dance, yoga, kinesiology, and pilates to create the world’s most efficient and effective full-body workout. The original Marina studio is still the longest-running barre fitness studio on The West Coast.

Meet the Business Owner
Laurie H.
Business Owner
Laurie was born and raised in the Bay Area and trained as a classical ballet dancer. She has over 16 years of combined experience in dance and fitness training. Laurie was immediately drawn to The Dailey Method when she became a client in 2004. In 2008, she received her Master Certification under Jill Dailey McIntosh. She taught at four Bay Area studio locations as a full-time teacher before owning the Burlingame studio.
Since 2010, Laurie has been bringing her passion and love of The Dailey Method to the Burlingame community. She is consistently inspired by the community of women (and some men!) that make up The Dailey Method Burlingame studio. It’s this community that drives her enthusiasm to continuing education on anatomy, yoga, and of course, Dailey Method. Laurie is constantly reading, attending workshops and learning as much as she can about the body and movement, to continue making this class the most intelligent barre exercise on the planet!
