A beautifully curated, cozy little shop! Really unique in that the collections are fashion forward yet undeniably timeless. It’s definitely a plus that most of the items are not big box brands and are also extremely well made and durable. The ladies who work here are some of the sweetest individuals I’ve ever met while shopping, enhancing the overall experience exponentially. It literally feels like playing dress up with your besties! So glad this mom and pop store is thriving in the increasingly corporate, generic Burlingame Ave.

The women that work here know what it means to give good customer service. On a recent visit, the two women working were so helpful, friendly, and genuine and it made me want to buy things here. I was looking for a wallet and although I didn’t find exactly what I wanted, I did end up leaving with a few items. I was totally impressed by their service and it seemed completely natural, like this is just who they are. As a customer, I appreciate this. I’ve walked into many shops in the area without any acknowledgment. And I’ve also walked into places where the employees are sickeningly sweet and annoying. Not the case at the Podolls. The stores in the area could learn a thing or two from these ladies.

Love the place. Love the owners/designers. I shopped here last weekend buying baby stuff for my girl. They have the cutest outfits here(and not all girly girly pink! Thank god!) It feels like you are in a beautiful loft studio, visiting friends. I definitely recommend that you give them a visit!

My wife loves this brand. She was first introduced to it in a boutique called Hawthorn in Oakland. When she found out a store was opening up in Burlingame, she was over the moon! We visited the store when it first opened and we loved the décor and feel of the venue. Lindsey assisted in helping my wife find items suited for her; she was wonderful and very helpful. What surprised me the most is when we returned to the store, Lindsey remembered us and made us feel so welcomed. My wife liked this one dress — I think called the Lapel dress — but she wasn’t sure about the opening since it revealed more than she liked. Lindsey came quickly to the rescue and offered to tack the dress so it wouldn’t be as revealing. It’s customer service like this that makes us want to come back again and again even though it’s a trip for us.

A perfect boutique carrying lines I love and admire. Gorgeous styling and merchandising – there are surprises at every corner. Lauren Moonigan leather cuffs and swoon-worthy knit sweater. Marisa Haskell jewelry. Shawn Burke clutches. Smythe blazers. Imogene + Willie jeans and not to be outdone, their own Podolls line of shibori silk tops, sandwashed jumpsuits and all kinds of pretty wonderful things. The ladies who work there are lovely and laidback, and suggest things for you that you’d never try on yourself. There’s also some great pottery and accessories, and Clare Viver goods to boot. Think Californian + European + edgy + casual. Best thing ever(besides carrying The Gentlewoman quarterly): most of the stuff is made in the US, hooray! This is an honest and true Burlingame gem.

I love this boutique. It feels great to support a local clothing company. The designs are created by an SF based couple and the jewelry is all procured by local designers as well. It’s all very hip clothing, but also very wearable. The customer service is some of the best I’ve ever received in the San Francisco bay area. Reeves and Lindsey are amazing and they make you feel like a friend who wants to help you find the right pieces that suit you best. I’m kind of scared to let the word out, but they definitely deserve a shout out!

I have been familiar with the line The Podolls for a while. Their pieces are fantastically easy to wear while being fashion forward. Epitomizing everything I love about West Coast fashion, I can wear the tops out to the beach for a picnic with friends or out to a formal event and look effortlessly cool. The clothes are definitely special; the quality and craftsmanship and design all go against the grain of «fast fashion.» The beauty of the pieces combined with their commitment to global stewardship makes me proud of what I’m wearing. I find myself wearing the pieces often and talking to all my friends about how much I love them. I guess I’ll mention that I look and feel fabulous in them as well! The store is small and well curated. There are little treasures peeking out among the racks. I loved all the pottery and housewares, unique and totally cool. I’d never seen anything quite like those pieces before. It’s definitely a great place to find a tasteful gift for that couple that has everything. The kids clothes are also quite an adorable novelty. There are definitely going to be some babies in Burlingame that look way cooler than me. I never thought I’d be jealous of the style of someone 31 years younger than me, but here I am, wishing I could put on one of those mini cowl jumpers. The sales staff is ridiculously sweet and smart. I have a feeling this place will become a Burlingame staple. A shopping treasure up in Norcal!
