Any is fantastic! The facility is clean and staff are hygienically sound. She took her time, was very pleasant and she’s very serious about her craft. She did a beautiful Brazilian wax.

I came here for my first Brazilian, ever. The lady (I’m the worst with names) was super friendly and explained the process. She was gentle and took her time. She talked through the whole thing to keep my mind off the pain (which honestly wasn’t that bad). I totally recommend this place and I’ll be back.

Where to begin… well, the fact that I will drive 35 minutes to see Kirsty says a whole lot!!! I became a loyal customer of the Pretty Kitty in Sunnyvale. Kirsty has now started working most of the week at the Burlingame location and she is well worth the drive. No one likes getting a bikini wax. She makes it as quick, painless, and least awkward as possible Seriously… we chat while she waxes and in a snap, it’s all over. Also, I have had very bad experiences with ingrowns, and people even burning me with wax. With her I have NEVER ever had any of these issues. She is wonderful. Highly highly highly recommend the Pretty Kitty!

I did my brazilian with Amy today. And she was very kind and did really nice job. I wanted to see Kristy but she was not available on that day.
But I am glad that I did mine with Amy since she did not disappointed me! This place will be my go to place.
And a week ago I did my eyebrows done with Kristy and she is also awesome. Amy and Kristy they both listened what I was asking for and they did it for me.
If you are in this area you should def see them.

Fabulous service, cute atmosphere, a full compliment of waxing services, and truly pain free compared to ANY other waxing services I’ve ever had — and believe me, this is not my first rodeo. Clean, professional, organized, efficient and knowledgeable team — they know what they are doing. You will love this place! I do.

I’ve been getting waxed by the same woman in SF for the past few years. She’s awesome, and I will continue to see her, but I was looking for an alternative closer to home.
I had a Brazilian, I believe with Megan? The wax went well, I felt like it hurt less than normal which was great. The salon is very cute, parking is easy, and with the 15 dollar off check in special, I would encourage others to give this place a shot as well.
I do plan on coming back in the future.

Not worth the 30minutes that I was in butterfly position considering they quote you 10 – 15 minutes. It was the most painful wax I’ve ever had and I think I’ll go back to my old place. The waxer seemed very nervous and the wax wasn’t hot enough so it was a tug of war with my skin and hair.
Worst Brazilian I’ve ever had, yeah it lasted long but not worth the time I was in butterfly position (it gets really uncomfortable at a point) and not worth the pain I was in. My whole area was burning by the time I was done.

They technique that they use is virtually painless.
I trust them to wax any area of my body. They are detailed and careful with eyebrows.
Bikini waxes are a breeze.
I used to go to PK San Diego. So glad they opened a location in Burlingame. I’ve been getting waxed at these locations for a decade and won’t go anywhere else!

Any wax that’s over before you know it is a great wax in my book. I saw Kirsty for a Brazilian and she was fabulous!
She talked to me to distract me and the pain was minimal. When I walked in she said she’d have me done in 10 minutes. I didn’t quite believe her, but she did!
Prior to my appointment the girls here were great about accommodating my appointment changes. Great customer service! I loved my experience here.

The Pretty Kitty is convenient, professional, and my new go-​to for Brazilians! I was curious to see if I could get a high quality wax for a lower price than what most places charge (I had been paying around $ 75/​wax until coming here).
Making my first appointment was easy, and I got a slot right away. Cool, because I have a volatile work/​personal schedule. When I arrived, Kirsty was totally kind and professional, and made an effort to make sure I understood my options for the service. She made me feel completely comfortable during the procedure (I have high pain sensitivity, but she knew how to work around that and make it as efficient as possible), and the end result was a very «pretty kitty.» She was careful to get every hair possible and handle business quickly.
At the end of the appointment, she reminded me to apply the Unilocal check-​in discount before paying, which I thought was really awesome of her. Obviously, there are great experiences to be had at higher end places in the Bay – but at the end of my appointment, I felt just as content with the results of my wax, and got to keep more of my money. Coming into the Pretty Kitty made me realize that being «high maintenance» doesn’t have to be that «high maintenance.»

I admit, I had my doubts. I’ve been getting waxed for years. Unfortunately, I haven’t stayed with the same place for long. I thought going to European Wax would be the best place because that’s what they specialized in. Boy oh boy was I wrong! So I gave Pretty Kitty a try, and «Jackpot», I finally found the place I have been looking for. Thanks Kirsty! You are amazing!!! Feeling fresh and clean!!!

I’ve been to many places for a brazilian, everything from the fancy day spas to the janky drive-​by nail salons that also offer waxing — (hey — no judgement. we’ve all been there when we were desperate).
This place takes the cake. For one, they have invested in their décor. The place is incredibly clean, well designed, rooms are spacious and comfortable, table is comfortable, lighting is good and the waiting area is quaint and welcoming.
My first time, I had Kirsty. I was lucky to have her as I learned she is the one who moved here to open this location and train the employees. She must be one of the best, said me. And I was right.
My second time, I had Megan. She was trained by Kirsty and I knew right away, this was going to be a stellar wax — and it was. These ladies are quick, precise and have hands of an angel. When they say their appts last about 15 minutes, they’re not kidding. You are In, and Out.
A Groupon brought me here, but the personal customer service, the precise and perfectly executed wax service and the incredibly fair price is what will keep me as a regular client.

Very clean store and my waxer was awesome and thorough. Service was painless and quick I was in and out within 15 mins. Very easy to locate and I would arrive early because parking can be a pain and you don’t want to miss your appointment. My facial waxing was a very clean result and no bumps or lifting like I’ve had in the past at other places. Thanks ladies from the receptionist booking my appointment to the waxer: D appreciate you.

I specifically asked for just a clean up and no reshaping. I loved my shapely brows… loved being the key word. Now I’ve got a Spock thing going on with one of them :(
Really sad because it takes forever for the eyebrows to grow back in. Epic fail!

Kirsty works out of both locations. She is absolutely the BEST! Kirsty is meticulous and pays great attention to detail. I truly believe I am one of her most pain in the butt customers. I am extremely picky on how my brows are done. She is the only person I have found over many years that will keep adjusting them until they are perfect. She truly believes and it shows in her professionalism that she wants you to leave COMPLETELY satisfied!!! She will take the time to make sure that you walk out with a smile on your face thinking «Damn, my brows look good». Which is exactly how I walked out last night.
Kirsty is my go to person for all my waxing needs. My normal service includes a Brazilian, my brows, lip, chin & cheeks.

I am certain Kirsty runs her Burlingame store the same as she runs her Sunnyvale store, as a 5 star service! Based on the superior management I would recommend The Pretty Kitty– Burlingame to anyone who is looking to get waxed. Whether it is your first time or you have been waxed for years.
All of the girls are trained by Kirsty so I am sure they are all FANTASTIC!

First time here and Kristy was awesome. I will definitely come back. She was done in about 15 – 20 minutes and made me feel comfortable. The place is very clean and I’m glad I found this place.

I found out through both Unilocal and groupon about this Pretty Kitty. It’s located in the cute little town of Burlingame and surprisingly, Kristy said that it’s only been open for about two and a half weeks now (March 2015). Kristy gladly honored my $ 35 groupon deal and was such a sweetheart. The wax didn’t hurt nearly as bad as the previous ones I’ve received from other salons, especially since she kept me distracted through conversation! The salon itself quaint and very clean. Kristy also made sure to be very thorough and helpful with any ingrowns. They also have a Sunnyvale location that Kristy is helping open (she’s originally from Las Vegas). I would definitely come back here again!

I’m definitely coming back! Kirstie (Kristie?) is professional and conversational for the short 15 minutes it took. Can’t say I love Brazilians in general, but this was by far the best. Very clean results and the soft wax surprised me by not being as painful as I was anticipating. Great design and décor, very clean. I have a good feeling that when my Groupon here is used up, I’ll still be coming back!
